Gotta agree. When you’re in Sydney, you’d hear different languages from everywhere. It’s like a central of migrants. Never heard much of that languages in one city.

That's awesome that the total for the day was $106.70.. that was very reasonable for all the food that you ate!! It was so beautiful to see the Opera House footage and the water at the beginning! The French Crepe looked so good and for $7 was a great price! We have never heard of a Gozleme before, but that looks so bomb with spinach and cheese!! We can't believe you got that Thai boat noodles for $4.00!!! Your pork bun looked huge Helmi and for $1.80 that was a steal! It was great that you took us to Chinatown, and those Tom Yum noodles looked divine!! One of our favorite sandwiches is Bahn Mi, and yours looked so good!!! Never had Korean hotdogs before, but looks interesting. That's so true.. they should have had more cheese on your slice of pizza for $6/slice! We love chicken satay as well, and great they put so much peanut sauce on top! Great video and we hope you have an amazing rest of your week!! Lots of love to you both!
Love this video idea! Best cheap eats under $10 is so smart! And so fun to watch. The banh mi and chicken! Holy yum! So good. You guys did an amazing job. Thanks so much for sharing. 😃

Hey Nick & Helmi!! It's so great to see you take us around the CBD area of Sydney and there are so many new little spots that seem to be in the area! Butters used to work across the street from the CBD back in 2000 when she was in Oz traveling!! That's awesome that you went to 15 different places for cheap eats!!! We can't believe you went to all these places in ONE day.. over 10 hours... That's insane and awesome all at the same time! We would have been spent by hour 3.. or in a food coma LOL!!!
The Thai boat noodle is only for $4 gosh u kidding me and with that big portion too The hoy dim wowww so cheap snacks The karage don from ippudo so cheap too 😮 Cho dumpling king also has cheap food and they look really delicious Here the pork rolls cost $7 The Roti canai is so cheap hey M.R hotdog seriously looks so good 🤤 The sambal (we must remember this!) Just had the Banh mi Pork Roll and it was amazing. Beyond delicious, just fresh, bursting with flavour and at such affordable price! Thanks guys for the recommendation and for anyone coming to Sydney check that Banh mi place out!
Gozleme, that's a new word for me, and new food 😄 Ippudo!!!! My favourite Japanese go-to place for a good Ramen!! That thai noodles look super good!!! Now we know Nick's tolerance to spicy food 😆
No this is really spicy, no kidding, level 2 is like the korean noodle you know the spicy one the black one.. its probably around that par.. level 7 i think ill go to the hospital hahaha
Wohooooo $4 thai boat noodle soup! Now that’s a steal 👌🏻 We remember we had super cheap thai boat noodle soup in Sydney too a few years ago, so delicious! 🤤
western country can be expensive! :D like nyc but i guess as always if you look hard enough there may be good food under $10 - i mean if you count foodcourt its definitely less than 10 dollar for lunch time, but they aint the best sometime.
That dim sum sounds fabulous! I don't know how you guys have room to keep eating. We admire you! That Taiwanese rice bowl has my name (Maria) all over it! Still need to try that Roti Canai. Give me all the udon too! One of my favorite things. $9 for 6 skewers?... Not bad! And that friend chicken! Such a complete video guys. Nicely done.
That feta and spinach gözleme looks so good! I'll be keeping all of these places in mind for my next Sydney trip. Great job Nick and Helmi! 👏🏻 P.S. Congrats on almost 3000 subscribers!!! 😍
Nick, man. We needed this guide when we were in Sydney haha. I'm hungry AF after watching this now. Gimme gimme Nutella crepe, Boat Noodles ($4? That's a steal!), Korean Hot Dog.. just.. everything! Come and do one in Melbourne, please, so I can follow your list and eat away.
This episodes great guys! So much information and nice to see some decently priced food stalls. The gozleme, mince pork Tom yum and of course chom siam are my top picks out of the lot 😯👌 brings back good memories. But then again pork bun for $1.50 is a bargain 🤔 great episode guys 👌
Thanks guys :D - the ho dim sim was next to the thai groceries place you went to :D - yea 1.50 is a bargain definitely and the size is bigger than your average dimsum yumcha place which makes it semi decent for 1.50 :D
Mmm, crepes are my favorite..lemon sugar is a must try! Feta and spinach with the lemon juice, yum! Such a hearty soup. Haha Helmi, level 7..I don't think so!!! Love that all of these amazing dishes are under $10. Great finds guys! M.R. hotdog looks so yummy....that cheese
Hi Nick and Helmy, just wanted to say Hi again. We were the ones who met you guys near Strathfield station today. Great video. We loves your channel. :) -Cosy & Phoebe-
Hello phoebe, good to meet you two earlier🙏 sorry we couldn’t talk much since we were in the middle of shooting something hehe😅glad to know some indo youtuber in syd too🤗
irene phang 👍😀 terima kasih - yes suggestion irene! Yes there are so many different option out there - we are trying to show non mcdonalds/kfc etc dishes 🙌😂, i know they are cheap hehe - but yes i love dominos pizza! Especially their garlic bread 😍
AnS Episodes thanks andja and stef 😀🙏, glad you enjoy it! Yeah we went down there 😆, unfortunately we couldnt fit it in this video due to the fact there was too many similar noodle/bowl soupy dish ! But yes helmi love that too 😬🙏
Love this video. Such great tips for under 10 dollars!!! The Turkish pancake with the cheese and spinach is one of my favorites. I normally don’t like cheese but that dish is so good!! The food at Mamak also looked sooo amazing. I need to try that 🤩🤩🤩
Just up from Mappen there is a small mall called Regent Place and inside there, there's a Japanese place called Tenkomori. It's very similar to Mappen and has ramen, curry, donburi etc. Most things there are under $10.
Yaassss to that huge slice pizza! Ending the day with that Taiwanese fried chicken 😍 hahaha did you really fast for a week?! 😂 Great job on eating all 15 food in a day guys!!!!
hey guy i m from france and i live in sydney since 2years . u gave me so much adresse where we can eat well and cheap aswell. thanks guys continue like that
I hear you. It's also hard to find affordable street food here in Chicago, unless you go to the ethnic neighborhoods. We have a spot here that sells great sausage rolls! Need to try this Gozleme!
We just went to Chon Siam after watching your video - the Boat Noodles were delicious, but they definitely don't fill you up, its just a nice starter now priced at $5, which is still, of course, very good value. I would highly recommend ordering the PadThai Chicken too, soooo good! but you can pass on the Tom yum soup, the soup was missing.. body, bit too watery. Thanks again for the tips, we'll try Do Dee next!
Glad you loved Chon Siam, Clovis😊 Yup it's small portion and sometimes not enough just 1 bowl hahaa. Pad thai sounds good too! Oh yes Do Dee Paidang, watch out with the spice level and let us know which level u can do haha.. we're just up to level 3 😆
Do they provide halal meat? In Sydney now and man the kebabs and halal snack packs all are over 10aud. But love the seafood salad ranges from Sushi Hub
I want the nutella crepe!! Nice cheap buns too... karage don looks like my favorite, egg and meat! Banh mi was good too.. hotdog on a stick? The roti cannai with all the fluffines.. ahh, can't choose just one.. I may have to make all these stops if I got to Sydney 😄 "No bukkake tonight" LOL
Yasssss Dodee Paidang!!!! We loveeeeeee it so much the one in Melbourne. We tried level 3 before and i think we almost ‘died’ lollll Cant think even to get level 7 😱
Food and Footprints i know there is pork blood mix, not sure about the liver unless its grounded and mix in the soup - couldnt taste any in pieces for sure 😀, but thai boat noodle is heaven!
(Helmi) So oily... so good 😂😂😂👍🏼 that do dee devil seems so spicy, I’m not a fan of too spicy foods because you can’t appreciate the flavour of the food, it’s all hotness. That pork roll looks heaven! 👍🏼☺️
The Travelling Hobitt haha i agree neil! To a degree its ok, once its too spicy, the taste and flavour fades away haha! But sometime people just are crazy into spicy food haha
Did your favourite make it? Let us know!

Puri and Sue 😬 comaaaa
Love this video. Such great tips for under 10 dollars!!! The Turkish pancake with the cheese and spinach is one of my favorites. I normally don’t like cheese but that dish is so good!! The food at Mamak also looked sooo amazing. I need to try that 🤩🤩🤩
Yes i love gozleme too, somehow the vegetarian option for gozleme is better for meat ones hehe.. Ahh roti canai is so good too 😁
Just up from Mappen there is a small mall called Regent Place and inside there, there's a Japanese place called Tenkomori. It's very similar to Mappen and has ramen, curry, donburi etc. Most things there are under $10.
Oh thanks sally - ill give that a go next time im there 🤗 - nick -
Thats the one on the street level right
Sally it’s my favourite ramen place actually! Chashu tonkotsu hits the spot 🤤
@@nickandhelmi Yes!!

I really like how you guys shoot and edit your videos. $10 clearly gets you good eats.
thanks so much guys, glad you enjoy it😊
I hear you. It's also hard to find affordable street food here in Chicago, unless you go to the ethnic neighborhoods. We have a spot here that sells great sausage rolls! Need to try this Gozleme!
Yeah first world problem maybe, all food in city/downtown are quite expensive lol The gozleme is so good, so cheesy
😋😋
You'll are doing your best, this channel will hit 100k within 1 year
Amen 🙌🏻😆
I realized Helmi is such a big fan of dessert, even her IG is full of desserts!! That Nutella crepe looks really good! I myself love Nutella 😄
yea dessert queen, i leave dessert to her.. **rolls away and eat savoury **
So many affordable food spots, my stomach would be so full if I wasn’t to all of those places. I agree 100% about folding the pizza
glad i'm not the only one eating pizza like that haha😊
Excellent video + guide. I fell for too many tourist traps/overpriced food last time I was there :(
Glad you enjoy it, reference for next visit 😊
awesome place. I love cheap eats. your editing is on point. keep it up. best wishes
Thanks 😬, cheap eats is a big goal for us haha 😬, the tastier and the cheaper the better
The Sambal!! Yeah they do pretty decent Indo food - haven't tried the chicken satay though, we gotta go back sometime again haha
Jeffles Changy sure will! 😬☝️
Lets do that haha
Do they provide halal meat? In Sydney now and man the kebabs and halal snack packs all are over 10aud. But love the seafood salad ranges from Sushi Hub
I want the nutella crepe!! Nice cheap buns too... karage don looks like my favorite, egg and meat! Banh mi was good too.. hotdog on a stick? The roti cannai with all the fluffines.. ahh, can't choose just one.. I may have to make all these stops if I got to Sydney 😄 "No bukkake tonight" LOL
Pogiboy Productions 😎 glad you enjoy that joke hahaha
I used to get that braised Taiwanese pork belly a lot from a chain in Hurstville for about $4.50. 🙂
Lin Nyunt wow! Now that is cheap! 👌, if only hurstville was near to me 😆,

The boat noodles are the reason I'm coming back to Sydney 🥰🥰🥰
Yessss Indonesian food! Always like a good sate - that peanut sauce is addictive
Food and Footprints except for those w allergies 🤣, it was good def, you should try sate padang if you get the chance, they use coconut, turmeric
Nick and Helmi We have - good stuff! Also sate lilit
Love those Thai pork blood boat noodle soups! Was there pork liver in that bowl?
Food and Footprints i know there is pork blood mix, not sure about the liver unless its grounded and mix in the soup - couldnt taste any in pieces for sure 😀, but thai boat noodle is heaven!
This food look so incredibly delicious. The diversity is wonderful. Thank you for sharing and making us hungry. Thanks for sharing bro
Thanks so much 🙂
Cy just told me that 7$ for a Nutella crepe is still a bit pricey, even tho the size seems quite ok
Nin is Cooking haha 😂 sydney isnt that cheap! 🙏😆 but for sydney its cheap haha, theres a cheaper option though
Forgot Harry Cafe De Wheels. Staple food because meat pies.
BreadTop is also an easy place to find cheap good food. And Maccas.
Oh yeah! harry de wheels is aussie classic hehe.. breadtop is great for snack, cheap bread😋
Harry's for the Tiger or the seafood pie! With HP sauce on top of the seafood pie!
Went to try the lamb Harissa roll at Bourke St Bakery today and OMG so goood... good recommendation!
G K yay glad you liked it 😋🙌🙌🙌 🤗🤗
Those were our fav dish from the bakery
Awwwwh that korean hotdog cheese pull is so tempting!!! Mmmmm that sateeee, look really really juicy!!
need more cheese to get a longer pull haha
(Helmi) So oily... so good 😂😂😂👍🏼 that do dee devil seems so spicy, I’m not a fan of too spicy foods because you can’t appreciate the flavour of the food, it’s all hotness. That pork roll looks heaven! 👍🏼☺️
The Travelling Hobitt haha i agree neil! To a degree its ok, once its too spicy, the taste and flavour fades away haha! But sometime people just are crazy into spicy food haha
Thank u, I work in Sydney CBD I did not know those places to eat. I want to go to Haymarket and try some of the places.
Leanne Jago glad we can inspire some ideas :) - hope you enjoy them as much as we did
