How would you compare to the RD ONE Amburana which I have now and find it tasty but not revisiting often. Does the BCS offer more bourbon like flavor with the Amburana more in the background?

I have never tried an amburana finish yet. I am a fan of Barrell. I’ll be looking for a pour/sample before I jump on a bottle. Cheers

I like Amburana but completely understand your perspective. It can be easily overdone. I had an Oak & Eden Amburana and it was terrible. Reminded me of how artificially flavored coffee tastes. But I do like Starlight and really enjoyed Penelope Rio. But I think Amburana is a lot like Cilantro. People either love it or hate it. I'll keep an eye out for this one!
