Grabbed a bottle today definitely a bottle I’ll continue to buy
Just stopped by my local store and couldn't believe they had something from HT at that price point. Speaking personally, I'm not much of a whiskey guy, I'm a Hard Truth guy. Love the sweet mash rye but can't afford it every day so I was thrilled to see this bottle at this price. Sipping it now and it did not disappoint. It's a bit shorter on the finish and lighter bodies but has all of that delicious complexity and mesmerizing nose.

I would say that for regular reviews this new format works great...keeps it simple...the number scoring system works better when doing blinds or ranking several bottles and maybe for the top ten end of the year videos since is ranking different bottles

How does the Harvest Rye stack up against the High Road and Sweet Mash?
Thanks for the feedback! The Harvest rye is special! Automatic buy if you see it. The only HT bottle I would put ahead of it is the caramel malted rye

Hard Truth sent it to me. I think I was the first UA-cam channel to sing their praises years ago. I’ve been a huge fan long before they sent me products. Also, if you know their master distiller you quickly learn he understands palates differ and is okay if you don’t like something he loves. They’re Chocolate malted rye is a perfect example of that. It’s a love it or hate it kind of whiskey.
