Cheers for checking out the video Seumas. I really haven't dived in much with Arran beyond the 10. Any recommendations or is the Sauternes leading the charge? Cheers.
Light sunshine sipper- Glenlivet Founder Reserve Cocktail King - Glenmorangie 10 BBQ with friends - Kilchoman Loch Gorm Special party - Glenfiddich 18 Cool evening dram - Johnnie Walker Island Green Mmmm, where’s the Irish? Summer is best with highballs…
That is a very strong list! The Loch Gorm is a great shout, at first I wasn't a fan but over the times I have tried it, really has grown on me! Is JW Island Green much different to the standard JW Green label? Cheers!
Enjoyable as always. Great video. Decent list.... except of course of the cocktail thing. That's a destruction in itself. Thanks Mr. Slapper Slàinte mhath
It is one of the few bottles I feel pretty confident recommending to everyone. I am overall not the biggest Compass Box fan either, but this is a beaut. Hope you get your hands on one soon!
If I want a big chunk of ice then I would also go Orchard House, small chunk, maybe Clynlish. I find the Arran or Glenallachie Sauternes finished also great summer sippers.
Bjorksav from Makmyra - really light, great for highballing. Grab a Buffalo trace for whacking into a milkshake. Lagavulin for a long smokey cokey (i prefer cherry coke). Agree with the Orchard house. Great stuff. Oh and evening dram; Tomatin 12. Did a bottle over one evening this time last year with couple of mates. Easy drinker, perfect. Great video.
Buffalo Trace milkshake is a great shout! Currently on offer at £19 too, very tempting. I haven't had a cherry smokey cokey yet, going to try that this evening with some Dr Pepper. Cheers Claire!
Nice one Jeff! That Orchard House is almost obligatory now to put in any 'summer whisky' category :) I struggle with the idea of a summer whisky as I sometimes find myself having a bourbon on the rocks and sometimes reaching for a cask strength Laphroaig. Cheers dude!
Challenge ACCEPTED! Watch this space
Looking forward to your picks Vin! Cheers.
Great list. I also do like an Old Fashioned. Hard not to in summer.
Cheers Phil, would be interested into what you pick? That was filmed the same sweaty night as another exciting video ;). Cheers
@@JeffWhisky Indian whisky is incredible in summer. Especially Rampur and Indri. Tastes like a tropical cocktail.
@@FirstPhilWhisky Keeping my eyes peeled for more Indian Whisky!
I watched that bottle hit your glasses too many times... Great content as always Jeff! Cheers
It was about time the whisky got payback on me! Cheers
Ah, nice idea, Jeff. Summertime does demand a certain profile for daily sipping. You nailed it with Orchard House and the Wee B!
Cheers! I certainly think Sherry bombs fall away in the heat. Would love to hear what you both would pick?
Let me know your Summer Whisky suggestions!
Thanks for the nomination. Now I have to work out what I'd choose 🤔
Cheers! Some real great picks in your list!
Brilliant video Jeff. Arran Sauternes works well with some ice.
Cheers for checking out the video Seumas. I really haven't dived in much with Arran beyond the 10. Any recommendations or is the Sauternes leading the charge? Cheers.
Love the guts picking Ardbeg 5 for a summertime dram, then you add a bit of Han from "Empire" to accent it? Bravo and brava! 👏👏👏👏👏
I have no regrets! 😂 I think I have used Star Wars clips the most throughout my videos, can't beat a bit of classic solo! Cheers!

@@JeffWhisky a bit more peaty, really good blended malt!
@@pietvw Got my eyes on the hunt for this while the sales are on at the moment! Cheers
Did you find one @JeffWhisky ?
Enjoyable as always.

Cheers for watching PeatHead, I am sure one day there will be a video that is not as enjoyable! Any pics you will drop in for the 5 categories?
@JeffWhisky Challenge accepted!
Really looking forward to what you guys pick. Honest to a Malt is such an amazing Podcast, hopefully it can point some more people your way!
Always Sunny is ALWAYS a good place for clips! Orchard house is the ultimate summer pour! I would also add in Jameson as sooooo simple and easy
I have got lots of Always Sunny clips ready to release into the videos. Jameson is a great shout! Cheers for watching!
I keep hearing about the Orchard House, I have GOT to try it!

Orchard House with a big chunk of ice is going to be my plan tonight now! Arran is great in the summer, any particular favourites? Cheers Neil.
@@JeffWhisky Last night was Arran 10 but the Sauternes is great. Glencadam also do a nice summer Sauternes or their 18 once the sun has gone down.
@@NeilImmortal Some good shouts. Believe I tried the Arran Sauternes and think I really enjoyed it. Cheers Neil!
@@JeffWhisky but I still drink Edradour at every chance 😉
Great video and excellent options. I look forward to seeing what the challengers come up with.
Cheers! Love to see what you would pick, even if you are now entering winter!!

Orchard House really has dominated the market! Rightly so too. Certainly agree there are no hard and fast rules with what to drink when. Cheers
Great content, and love this challenge! Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it! What would be your picks then?
When that first bottle came up and got you in the face. All I could think of is... "What happens when the bottle slaps you"
What slaps around... slaps back. I think I well and truly had it coming! Cheers for watching!
Slap on Whisky Chap!
What is wrong with multiple Springbanks? Springbank 10 in the day and Sprinkbank 15 at night lol.
Haha I like how you go for a different one in the evening! Cheers
