Technically the avenger and personal minigun are actually lore accurate in terms of existing as they were in fo3 and/or fo3 nv. The vindicator may have been in one of the older fallout games as well like fo1 or fo2 idr. Regardless they all are in universe weapons.

The way you've got your game looking is what I've been trying to do for years. That 3060 or whatever you've got is putting in work! Mowing down hordes of ghouls never looked so good.
Machineguns Rebirth added in Turret versions of the guns for your settlements. Btw 10 Flack guns are great for dealing with the Brotherhoods Vertibird counterattack if you destroy them as the minutemen. Basically, they died over the before they could land, so it turned a Air Assault into a beach landing for the survivor's, so they died to AGL turrets. Made finding Maxons coat a pain in the arse.
Just to chime in, there is a (largely prototype) microgun in existence that is basically a minigun, further shrunk down and chambered in 5.56x45mm. It is absolutely man portable and usable without needing power armor, too! Also something of a range toy rather than a serious weapon; miniguns work best when employed as door guns on helicopters (the role they were designed specifically to do), and while they can work as infantry weapons, there is nothing that a minigun (or microgun) can do as an infantry weapon that a machine gun cannot do just as well, only cheaper.
"It is reminiscent of an M1-Bazooka" It's reminiscent of a few different rocket launchers, but not even close to an M1-Bazooka. It's based on the RGW-90 and Matador rocket launchers.
Fallout 4 really needed more weapons like this, as well as more situations where it made sense to use more than its basic rifles. And survival mode was kind of a joke.

@@spookyengie735 No, they are pretty bad. Majority of them anyway. Most are outright nonsensical trash while a few missed the mark by an inch. The Deliverer and the Lever Action rifle are probably the most reasonable firearms in the game. The only thing bringing those down are the 10mm rounds for the Deliverer when it should be .32 ACP and the Lever Action Rifle should have a memory reload count. Meaning if you fire one round out of five, you should be loading only one round. Conversely if you fire all five rounds, you should be loading all five rounds. This is why in my Fallout 4 game, I've downloaded mods that are akin to New Vegas's guns. I'm an absolute sucker for New Vegas's firearms.

Interesting that you didn't cover the Heavy Select Shotgun. Kind of a hidden gem, in my opinion. Literally a Heavy Rotary Shotgun, and my second favorite heavy weapon in terms of removing the filth from the Commonwealth.
The Cryolator is also heavy. Of course Big Gunner was the last perk I tried to raise it's damage! Good video. There's a new mod to try in 2022. No spin ups, it does exactly that.
The modular Simonov PTRS-41 Mod is also a good one. Whilst the 3 included weapons all play like anti materiel rifles the QBU76 also excels as a portable 20mm autocannon. Equiped with a ballistic shield, an automatic receiver, a 40 round dual drum, a reflex sight, and a short barrel with a massive muzzle break this thing turns anything into Swiss cheese. Or you choose the long barrel and high power scope to one shot deathclaws as soon as they render. If you can see it you can kill it
a little addon i love to use together with the minigun rebirth mod are mods that remove the brass decal limit, at some point you'll stand in a huge pile of shells... :D but those kind of mods are realy impacting performance
I think in fallout you should not be able to operate standard weapon in power armor since your power glove should be far larger than the standard trigger on weapon . But mini gun or rocket launcher should be the standard weapon of power armor

PTRS 41 mod, then get a black shark, chamber it in 20x110 hispano, and you can get a range of 1150, a damage of over 1k as it double shots, and overall, make a one shot beyond render rifle

I've been enjoying Machine Guns Rebirth on my current playthrough. The Flak gun is the perfect answer for big strong enemies. The turrets are OP, which is necessary for high difficulty levels, since the vanilla ones don't stand a chance on survival mode.
06:50 please do know that Miniguns Rebirth gets rid of the Minigun (it replaces it with a personal minigun in a weapon crate) you need to pick up at the Museum of Freedom to help Preston. As far as I know it makes the ENTIRE Minuteman Quest Line NOT POSSIBLE because preston won't get to Sanctuary (I tried Console Commands) So activate the mod AFTER you completed Call to Freedom

Fun fact - there is a real-life 20mm anti-materiel rifle by South African Republic. The gun has 2 replaceble barrels - chambered in 12.7 and 20mm. The barrels weight 15 pounds each.
I forget what it's called but I did a mod that includes some heavy rifles - basically anti-tank cannons that I have no idea how any normal human being could wield without something like power armor - and had fun decimating pretty much everything in my path but I think I need to find a tougher enemies mod so I'm not exploding deathclaws in one hit even on very hard.
i might have that mod, lemme see. Is it the "Modular Simonov PTRS-41 Anti-Tank Rifle" mod or similar? that adds some just stupid anti tank/ anti material rifles that can fire 20mm vulcan rounds, you can even modify the rifles to be automatic though if you do that you basically HAVE to put a ballistic shield mod on it because the recoil will be far too much otherwise.
@@gabrielhenson5751 That's the one. What I do to keep the game from being stupid easy is limit myself to 50 cal or 20mm at most and use one of the weaker versions non automatic. Still drops almost all humans and mutants in one shot be it takes a few for everything else. I also limit myself to Ranger armor. Keeps the game relatively challaging, basically cos playing as the dude from the beginning of New Vegas who puts a 50 cal through some raider's head. Sometimes I even limit myself to one rifle, one side arm, and a knife or something, and a handful of stims - an amount of gear a human being could maybe haul around.

The 'Avenger' minigun in that mod is based off the real life Gau 8 Avenger 30mm cannon that's mounted on the A-10 Warthog airplane. They even share the same iconic 'brrrrrrrrrrt' sound.

some basic physics for ya'all heavy weapon/ big gun means bullet speed and mass or linear momentum and not necessarily the mass of the gun since rate of change of linear momentum is force
Very cool mods, but for me, it's the unholy union of the submachine gun and the xplosive shotgun using the anymod glitch. I'm not sure if I've ever wielded a weapon that simply rips enemies to bits like that, entire waves of enemies.
i think man-portable miniguns are pretty feasible in fallout, since they could just be powered by fusion cores (assuming fusion cores are more effective in lore than in game)

The Mk.19 looks more like a modernized Vickers machine gun then a Browning in my opinion. I could really see it being used in the Fallout: London mod.

if you do it right you can actually kill the crew inside of the vertiberds with the flak guns. IIRC they have some really explosive ammo options.

The 'Avenger' minigun in that mod is based off the real life Gau 8 Avenger 30mm cannon that's mounted on the A-10 Warthog airplane. They even share the same iconic 'brrrrrrrrrrt' sound.

Very cool mods, but for me, it's the unholy union of the submachine gun and the xplosive shotgun using the anymod glitch. I'm not sure if I've ever wielded a weapon that simply rips enemies to bits like that, entire waves of enemies.
i think man-portable miniguns are pretty feasible in fallout, since they could just be powered by fusion cores (assuming fusion cores are more effective in lore than in game)
