I’m not of the Catholic faith, but I I am a fellow Christian and a diehard Chiefs fan. I was impressed with Harrison Butker years ago on and off the field. He was one of the few men that I knew when he said that he thanked God for all that he had that he truly meant it. I stand with him 100%. As Christians We’re not here to please people and to make everyone happy . We are here to serve the Lord and make disciples of many. Jesus himself told us that we would be persecuted in his name.
Then don't whine about it. Christians need to be extremely timid and submissive, and only serve God. God is all, you are nothing. You do not speak for Him, you just obey.
Love being subjugated by worldly powers, as Jesus ordered you to. Take it all and ask for more. Praise worldly authority and serve it, as God has ordained.
Real Christian is a Christian who nobody even knows exists, and who prays alone in darkness. God's Will will make Christians out of those automatically who are intended to be Christians by God's Plan. No human intervention at all. All pray, all serve alone, until natural death and go to Heaven. There is no glory, no thanks, no recognition. Just eternal servitude to God.

I’m Lutheran and I’d like to thank him for speaking up and not standing down. As Christians, we have been too quiet and apologetic. He is an easy target for the left : he’s white, he’s straight, he’s Christian, he’s a man. If a Muslim gave the exact same speech at a mosque, nobody would have said a damn thing.
We are not all Christians. Protestantism was/is part of the division causing so many problems in society. Protestantism shows the world that those who follow Christ are NOT united; there are over 40,000 different Protestant sects that teach something different about Jesus. It is Protestantism, with their throwing out of Tradition and questioning the Church which caused the movement into rationalism, relativism, and ultimately, atheism. Protestants have shown the world how fickle one can be about Christ...so why even have faith? Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus is a reality. Christ said to Peter, "upon this rock I will build MY CHURCH." Christ did not say "churches." Harrison Butker is talking about the Catholic Faith...not Protestant "Christianity."

@@boogerlui I guess I should have worded it differently. I was not trying to specify Christ; my point was to say that people should be bold about their faith in God. I didn't want just to say "their faith", because I wanted to exclude the faith too many people have in material possessions, degrees and so on. The point is to be bold about true faith, well-placed and meaningful. That ends up being in Christ, whether every specific individual understands the true nature of the Godhead or not.

As a woman who is highly educated with a high paying career outside the home, I would have given it all up to stay home with my children who are my most cherished accomplishments. But I had to be their main provider and support because their father wouldn’t man up. I agree with Mr. Butker. Feminism has destroyed the family and caused the deprivation of masculinity. Promoting female independence and equal pay is not feminism. Feminism uses these goals as a ruse to destroy men.

Sin entered the world through one man (Adam) because he couldn’t take responsibility and blamed woman and God for his choice to eat the fruit. The Bible even says that Adam was not deceived so we cannot say Adam is blameless because Eve tricked him. Time for men to stop blaming women and God for the state of the world and to start taking on responsibility.
I agree with this. Many men now expect women to provide income and do many household chores, and to take medication to prevent births so they can live as eternal adolescents.

I am blessed to have been able to stay home and raise our children, homeschool our children, and use my talents to provide tasty, nutritious meals for my family. THAT is my vocation and I am so blessed to have it❤️
