It's really unacceptable that we don't even have a system for BASIC healthcare and/or preventative healthcare. Just SEEING a doctor costs a small fortune sometimes, when all they do is a routine exam that takes a handful of minutes. But even that is better than nothing and can catch things most people don't realize. It's not like everyone would need to be provided with state of the art treatment, or costly procedures. Money is an issue, it's understandable that poor folks won't have access to expensive things, even certain treatments that would save their life, but there is no excuse for not being able to just see a doctor for basic illnesses, injuries, questions, or worries, so people at the very least have some help. Healthcare cannot be defined as a right, but you have to ask how in the world our country is so messed up in this regard...

I firmly believe that RFK is uncorruptible. This man is working to fix a major problem and has absolutely nothing to gain and everyting to lose. His family now hates him. Also, I used to like Bernie as a person even though I completely disagree with him politically. This video just changed that. I will Canada health care system is not what it’s all cooked up to be.. we still pay. It’s not fully free but yes it’s cheaper than paying thousands for surgeries and what not; however, we are now so overwhelmed in hospitals that it takes literal hours upon hours upon hours to see a doctor in the hospital. You better be bleeding bad or having a heart attack to get in right away. Oh and waiting months or years in my case for said free surgeries. Sweet it’s free but walking around waiting for surgery in agonizing pain isn’t much of a trade off. You’re in the same position. Can’t afford it so you don’t get it, it’s free so everyone wants/needs and now it’s too busy. Never mind the fact waiting over a month to see your family doctor for an appointment if you can even get one.
