- How to make a super moist and chewy Caramel Bars.
Here's what you'll need:
1 cup butter (227g Unsalted)
1 cup light brown sugar (200g)
4 egg yolks and 1 whole egg (room temperature)
1 can condensed milk
2 cups all purpose flour (250g) Typo error in the video not 375g
1 cup powdered milk (120g)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped cashew nuts

What other size cake tin can I use instead of 11x11 thanks
Great recipe, thanks for sharing! Question: Unfortunately I don’t have a 11x11 inch dish but have 8x8 square or 9 inch round dish, should I keep the amounts the same and bake 2 dishes any suggestions are greatly appreciated! God Bless
I dont have that size dish either and would just use an 11 x 7 tin I have. I often use different size tins but adjust the baking time.
A smaller sized pan will yield much thicker bars you probably will have to adjust the baking time. Also, bars are ideally thinner.
I never delay in making your recipes when i have all the ingredients cause they are always excellent…

How you cake this caramel Bars , I don’t know , because you only added brown sugar and used only yolks to make a sponge batter ,,,,, nuts on top .
This isn’t caramel at all .
The caramel is the flavour. Brown sugar and condensed milk help make it.
I did this recipe. Not chewy at all. Taste is just ok and not even close to Max's
