LSRC SD70M Leads 71 Car Grayling Train May 15, 2023

Lake State Railway SD70M 6433 leads a 71-car Pinconning to Grayling Turn, train 304, out of Pinconning on Monday May 15, 2023.
Locations include downtown Pinconning, Whitefeather Road just north of town, and Standish at The Andersons elevator along Old M-10.

Todd, I can't remember a train this long going north. In the NYC days, 2 Geeps and maybe 40 cars going to Mackinaw City. Usually 7 PM through Roscommon at 35 maybe 40 mph at the top. Super video.

I always enjoy it when my videos can provide something new for the viewers. Sometimes I get it wrong though. Who knew a short, mile long dirt road would be M-10?
