  • Today we explore an abandoned house that has been left untouched with everything still inside and all the prior owners belongings! Join us as we check out this remarkable old abandoned family home in America's Most Haunted Town. With everything left behind! This house appears to be frozen in time from the mid 2000's with everything from this man's life left behind. Alton Illinois is a dying rust belt town, a historic river town and one of the coolest small towns to drive around. Sections of this town are beginning to look like a ghost town. If you enjoy watching Dan Bell, The proper people, exploring with fighters and other popular urbex adventurers you will love our channel. @oldandfatexploration @americanaexplorer @FokusGrim

Wow, there it is. A house with literally everything left behind and not in too bad of shape. I’m guessing the people who lived there may have been older judging from the vintage furniture and appliances they had unless that’s all they could afford. Nonetheless, that was an excellent video! I’m glad to see you posting more content lately. Next time I’m back in STL, I will be checking out Alton. Hopefully I will run into you guys one day when I’m out and about. I am usually all over the city when I go there to visit.

Tappan company that made your stove I think was eventually sold to fridgedaire. That company made a lot of appliances that’s probably not a hidden room the bathroom was probably added later.

Absolutely looks that way. It is where the basement stairs always were. I try and find things in the videos to help me guess the age of the home. My guess is the early 40's. or later 30's.

Another awesome video Tony. So sad seeing all of belonging still there I wonder if maybe older folks and they passed away. Can’t wait for the next one 😊

That was a very good explore Tony, such a shame to see ones personal effects all left behind to the ransackers, though there was clearly by looking at the rucksack someone staying there, and the bathroom, never seen one like that, thought you took a bit of risk walking underneath that radiator to the basement, it looked like it was teetering. Thanks anyhows, was very interesting.

If you look at the stats, Alton Illinois isn't much different than Phoenix Arizona, when it comes to crime.
40 Per 1000 in Phoenix Arizona
43 Per 1000 in Alton Illinois

I think they likely have been. Someone those national geographic magazines were relatively recent. (I had at least 2 of them. Lol)
