So I just got the XP pen 12 and found an interesting hack around the eraser. If you are worried about the eraser wearing into the screen surface there is a bit of a work around. Put your finger under the eraser and push the eraser in, then with the eraser still pushed in use the tip of the finger that is pushing in the eraser as your new eraser tip. It seems to still be close enough to the screen to send the signal to erase but your finger won't wear out the screen at all. A bit complicated for an eraser function but after doing this for a little bit it became second nature for me so I figured I'd put it here for anyone else.

So do you need to download a drawing program on it or does it come with one????? I needs help!
I dont have an HDMI port OR the mini one from the adapter.... so.... I’m just screwed? I can’t use this tablet?
Yeah I faced the same problem, you need to buy an adapter. HDMI to whatever you can use.
And HDMI connector can be purchased in stores, and online for around 10-30 dollars.
Well I won’t be getting it because i only have one video port. So. One screen. I don’t even have a VGA connection.
Griffly Art What port is it? USB, display, just a charging port maybe? Because depending on what the port is, you’d be able to buy an HDMI connector for it. Also, out of curiosity, what computer do you have?
Sleepy Raccoon it’s a micro HDMI port. I have an Alienware. Idk why they thought they were being hip and cool installing only one port and making it micro but they did. It’s otherwise a great machine so i put up with it and it came with the adapter, but, it’s still rather annoying.
