Yuyuko Saigyouji is Princess of Netherworld, Who have ability to invite Souls to Netherworld or in other words kill anybody. She is Final boss of Th7 PCB and she's one of Yukari's friends. Her butterflies is actually butterflies of death and that means, that if she use them without playing by spellcard rules, this little butterfly can one shot any living being. Also in the end she lost her colors and became even more transcendenced, because her Last attacks was something like her Last hope. She pushed herself to her limits. Why she did that? Well, it's because of her story. I can tell it to you, if you want, but her story pretty long
Okay, if you asking, then there it is: About 1200 years ago there was a girl. She was looking like a normal girl, but everyone hated her. She wasn't bad and pretty shy, but she had ability to invite people Souls to Netherworld(control Death). One day she met a Youkai tree named Sagyouji Ayakahi, which was killing every living being, which falled asleep under it's branches, due to mystical power of this tree. This girl somehow become friends with this tree, but one day when she couldn't withstand pressure of humans, she decided to fell asleep under branches of this tree. When humans saw this they used Soul of this girl to seal forever this tree and her body they buried her body under it's roots. Some time due to Yama's precept she became Princess of the Netherworld, but she lost all of her memories. One day she noticed a giant tree in the Netherworld with powerfull seal on it, so she wanted to break it to see why it was sealed. Then she started to gather spring in Netherworld to break this seal. But unknowingly she caused an incident in Gensokyo by gathering spring from it. When Reimu(Marisa or Sakuya if you playing as other character) came to resolve this incident, Yuyuko were trying to unseal this tree by any costs, so she even pushed her own limits to acomplish her plan. But she failed... But if she would break this seal, she would destroy her own Soul or in other words just kill herself. There it is. Also one interesting part about her Last attack: in game you don't see her, but silhouette of her body in this tree. Well, hope it was interesting!

Well done. It’s pretty fascinating when you hear all of this lore. I’m sure the touhou games must Make a lot more sense the more lore you know.

That last spellcard is a survival card in the games, so it keeping Reimu on the ropes for the duration is a perfect translation for a dogfight vid.
