    The unmentioned part that probably takes a lot of energy is running all those cameras and walking the same track twice for the shot! Just to show us civilized folk another way! Bless your heart Matty!

    I look forward to your Sunday videos. Just wish they were longer. Your attitude and set of skills is just amazing and is what keeps you going. I admire your expression of gratitude whenever you take an animal, etc. Blessings

      wow thank you, so so nice to read this. honestly I am telling you and everyone else.. my skills are nothing special, I honestly believe with some minor guidance anyone could do these tasks in the same way... the real key is the attitude, which also I feel would come naturally to many thrown into this situation. the desire and basic instinct to do these things is in every one of us

    Here from Primal Tendencies and your visit to his adobe hut in the semi-desert. You two make an interesting contrast in survival areas/locations. It was a great idea to pair up for a video. Maybe there will be more in the future but I understand if not, the distant between your two locations isn't just a 'hop skip and a jump'. I'm glad you made the trip down to Primal Tendencies.

      @@skoteoutdoors - Chad said nothing was scripted between you two. I thought at least the greeting was scripted. The interaction between you two is so relaxed and comfortable. This is special to me because this is how things went between my father's side of the family - great interaction w/o 'useless' chatter. Very peaceful and you really get to know the other person that way. You SEE who they are without hearing who they want you to think they are. Glad there is more to come. I would also love to see Chad in Canada. That would be something.

    Hey, those Garmin carabiners love to open up and drop off bags! had it happen once in the bush, thankfully the unit was on and I could ping it, but I recommend you get a screw lock carabiner for it. I put a key ring on the loop so the bigger carabiner would fit.. much safer!

    I was wondering, if you, or anybody else, lose weight, is it because of the workload? Once all the heavy work is done will you, or anybody else, stop losing weight?

    • @Mammuthuss
      @Mammuthuss 2 роки тому +2

      When you move into this kind of diet there is also a lack of fat, which will cause you to drop weight no matter how much you eat.

    • @skoteoutdoors
      @skoteoutdoors  2 роки тому +1

      good question Tom. simple answer is no. Eating like this it is very hard to maintain body weight. Even though I was eating a heavy three meals a day of fish and berries it still aunt enough. I need more fat, which could come from a beaver, bear, moose or caribou. Even without the workload just dealing with the exposure and cold your body is burning so much extra fuel.
