- We travel to the world renowned Outerbanks with my fishing partner and friend Tom Garstang, from the hit survival Tv show Alone..season 9. We have a deal with a local hostel, trading a few hours labour each day in exchange for lodging. In between the many hours spent on the beach fishing, we managed to rough mill some walnut boards with a chainsaw. Come along to get a taste of the Outerbanks for yourself, as we take you along for the whole ride. Hope you enjoy!

I’ve never fished the east coast but I did a lot of surf fishing in California when I was young. Had some great fishing days.

You have to cut whatever you catch in half and recast in the banks, there's big fish there.

yes my apologies for the quick ending. with some time I will be showing a more in depth look at the pre and post trip. far as what happens goes.. after I knocked my head I came out of camp next morning and felt like a babe on new legs, looking around wasn't like looking at the front garden anymore. It was like seeing the vastness of the landscape and realizing how far out I actually was. I didn't want to leave but I knew the only smart thing if your not 110% good to go in conditions like this is to pull the pin. again look forward to sharing more of that content with you in the future. @motomining your going off grid?
@@skoteoutdoors I like the idea of going off grid with a small one room miners shack, possibly on skids so it can be taken away when done.
