Most Honda parts do actually start with HM but I believe it stands for Honda Mechanics. Something from the olden days, as is FoMoCo. Even their muscle cars already had that.

Thanks, guys for the stationary camera shots. It made this video a real treat. I really love your channel and it’s great to watch your content without being completely distracted by nausea. I hope this format continues so I can go back to streaming your stuff on my new big screen TV without having to turn it off after a couple of minutes for wanting to hurl. (I've had to skip your episodes when surfing YT on the TV and wait until firing up the laptop to watch you on minimum sized viewing.) I have no doubt that setting up static shots takes more planning and prep than gonzo style, but that work really pays off in the finished episode. I noticed the difference right away and am genuinely grateful for your efforts. Thanks again, guys, for all you do and all you show.

@@leksasdf Yeah but you can drive them till they're done for. Still the better tire. And the stock wheels are forged if I recall correctly. And he looks like he went even smaller aspect ratio on tire, which is already an issue for harshness stock.

I'm sure you did this, but when you re-installed the bolt for the lower a-arm in the back, you shouldn't tighten that bolt all the way until the suspension is back on the ground. Otherwise you have pre-load on the bushing and it will cause it premature wear.
Torx fastenings were the bane of my life back in the 1990s, as so many cars I worked on used them, and at the time, it was really hard to find Torx bits in car shops in the UK; I soon discovered that Allen keys could be made to fit said fastenings...
I have a feeling this car is gonna see sleeves and block reinforcements before they try and make more power. Because over 400 ft lbs is when the head gaskets go and cracking occurs.
Strange move for Ford considering the stock block and sleeves of the ST can handle much more power and torque before anything occurs. I've seen some tuners push bottoms ends on the ST to 800hp before the cylinder walls crack.
Wish I had a lock up ;__; Changing springs and exhausts on a wet, freezing cold driveway in the miserable UK weather is the reason I procrastinate for so long before fitting parts I've ordered.
see if you have a diy garage in your area. i have one 30 miles away where you drive in and use all their tools and hoist and all for just a rental fee and replacement fee if anything breaks from misuse of course
James Russel I’ve never heard of that, that’s a cool idea, I can see a lot of liabilities involved though lol. But I could see a lot of people using that
I am not 100% on this but if you look in the background at 17:20 There is what looks to be an RB engine. So maybe there is a GTR around that we havent been shown yet.
Unco Casey All 2.3 ecoboost engines have an open deck block configuration, the piston walls vibrate internally wearing away the head gasket between cylinders 2 and 3 because of this.

Exactly one week ago i sold my RS back to the dealer. I loved the car, but after they had to replace the engine due to water in cylinder 3, i lost my trust in it. Every time i started it upafter i got it back, i checked in the rear view mirror to make sure there was no white smoke cloud. The car is a blast to drive though. exoc1 well that was a bit silly considering the issue is fixed and you still had a warranty anyway. Bet you lost stacks selling it back to the dealer to. Why wouldn’t you just either keep it or sell it privately?!
Well, i don't really trust that the issue is really fixed. And sure, it still had warranty, but i had to wait 12 weeks before i got the car back from the shop. Even if it's under warranty, it's still a hassle. And, yes. I lost some money selling it to the dealer, but this way I avoided scammers, test pilots and avoid being called up months later by the buyer wanting money for hidden errors or such.
It wasn't the dealers fault, It was Ford. The dealer got ford reps to determine what to do, they said it was the head gasket. Ford had just designed a new gasket, but had none on stock in all of europe... After 5 weeks of wait time (this was in the summer, and many companies were low on people due to summer leave), they couldn't even come up with a date. I called and emailed every other day, and all of a sudden i got a reply saying: "Ford changed their mind, You'll be getting a brand new engine. It has 6-7 weeks delivery time". So, the dealer did their work within a week. Ford couldn't supply parts, that's what took so long.
@12:36. Love hearing that Track firing up. One of my favorites on the Big Music pack Moog put out. Best music money spent in a long time....MASSIVE TRACKS.
I guess they think its weird because aussie cars and japanese cars have the bonnet catch on the drivers side even though it's on the "wrong side" its only euro cars that seem to not bother moving the bonnet catch over when they move the steering wheel over...
MidwestVillain Z Don't know about you, but as much as I want a lift, I don't have 10k plus to spend on one. Business advertise items that are affordable to a wide range of people... hence springs, wheels, filters etc.
I'm from VIC, Aus. Currently leasing a 2016 Fiesta ST for work. I can confirm that Bayford Ford dealership installed a Mountune 215 kit on the ST and it did not screw with the factory warranty. If it did, I would be in a bit of trouble cause it's not my car.
Don't be obscene! Re003 are mid range summer road tyres. The old tyres are cup 2s, a high grip ultra sport tyre designed for track use and OEM fit on ferarri, Porsche and most bmw M cars. The bridgestones aren't even close. In fact on a wet track day my old golf R on bridgestones was struggling for grip, and a 720hp McLaren running cup2's was planted. Enough said
Shrink1061 I don't know what you're ranting about but those Michelin's aren't anything special. They're basic street tires not for track.. Just have a look at the tread pattern.
It's still the same open deck block. They need to make serious changes, but I fear they have shelved it until they build the next generation, or they will make a facelift like they've been doing on the ST line recently.
So true, One owner in Chicago actually experienced hydro-lock in one of the cylinders. The open deck is the main issue and a new designed head gasket is just a temp fix. If and when you mod your RS look out. Too bad with such a cool little hatch back.
@@burlyheads it was caused by the incorrect gasket being used. No longer an issue. It's the same engine in the mustang the focus st and the focus RS as of 2019 so they're all the same but running different internals. They're very reliable engines when the correct gasket is used with the correct tune and internals.
Such good memories. Reminds me when I ordered new shocks for a track day but they didn’t make it in time. Went and did the track day and canceled the order for shocks I didn’t think were ever going to arrive. 3 months later they showed up all beat to hell but since the order was already returned I just kept them. I tried to contact the seller but they said the order was closed. I think at a point no one wants to pay shipping. Still got those shocks today.
I bought a Cobb intake for my Focus ST... didn't care about any 1/2 +/- hp gained or lost... but I love the the choo choo noises without getting some gaudi garbage
The bonnet release on the passanger side is relatively new to European cars I live in Europe and had heaps of cars with them on the drivers side or " the correct side"
ah, but in Europe the drivers side is the other side, so the same side as the bonnet release side because they drive on the other side. Unless you're in the UK and then it's the other side which is the same side as the wrong side that is the side for Australian driving.
why didn't they continue putting it with the driver whichever side of the car theyre on, I have no idea. Ford used to fit the bonnet release under the steering column (I'm in the UK so at least they did on European market models) regardless of which side the driver sat. it worked brilliantly and the release lever in the car couldn't get kicked or tangled in bags etc like they do now.
Talking about changing the stock air box to get a better turbo sound, I can definitely agree. The stock air box on my 2011 STI sedan had a gallon milk jug looking silencer hanging down the bottom. I installed the Cobb sf intake with air box and ots stage 1+ (saying stage because that's what it's called) accessport reflash and the difference in sound was night and day. The spool up and recirc sound is way louder. It was like turning it up from 3 to 11. First drive after the install had me laughing the entire time. Definitely worth it.
FoMoCo has been used since the late 40s (I think '48 or '49). I even found a FoMoCo branded tin with some sort of wax rag in it in my '54 Ford Business Coupe... they used that brand for all kinds of stuff they sold at the parts counter.
I am glad to see a couple episodes of Marty and Moog customizing a Ford Focus RS and a big Ford Focus ST fan and I bought myself a 2005 Ford Focus ST back in 2020 it was a mess in the beginning I had to get a new clutch and transmission it was so trashed now it was runs awesome been going through the electrical and got my traction control back slowly replacing broken or missing parts on it , but wanting to get help on what would be good to do to modify my Focus ST and I always enjoy watching your show guys keep up the awesome work
Raider Of The Lost Fart Not sure how much you know about tires but the sport cup 2s are a streetable track tire. The pilot super sports or whatever they are called now are summer tires made for the street and not the track, yes you can take them on the track but they will never be as capable on a track as the sport cup 2s tires or any compair able extreme summer tire.
But you're not a part of Europe anymore thanks to Brexit.. Please note the comment you just read was a joke, I in no way, shape, or form think the UK is now, magically, not part of the European continent. Thank you for your time.
The pod filter kit installed on my Audi A3 2.0T I'm sure didn't increase performance a bit but all the extra noise did make it more fun. Added bonus: the ridiculous engine cover with integrated air filter got to go in the bin.
when i first got my prelude, i got a cold air intake and deleted the intake resonator... the date display i had showed like 2 hp gains. wasnt happy with that so i got rid of the coolant lines that run to the throttle body and intake manifold along with making a air box that seals the filter away from any hot air, made an additional 5 hp along with the responsiveness and sound of the engine.
it will be a happy day indeed when they finally do a collab. two of the biggest car channels in the world - yes, i know hoonigan are a lot more than a youtube channel... - it would be amazing to see them do something together. perhaps a hoonigan mega roadtrip to australia...
You guys need to get the KW DDC adjustable coil overs that Matt Farah put on his RS. They improve the ride quality and handling substantially by not upsetting the chassis mid corner. Only cheap or incorrectly tuned coil overs make ride quality harsher.
What I said in a comment here. KW coils are a suspension kit without any compromise. Adjustable, electronically controlled using modes, more comfortable and grippier.
eh i dunno. id take my yokos over either any day, but we have RE003s on our two dailys and i wouldnt have anything else. not the stickiest, not the hardest wearing, not the best in the wet, but just plain and simple, good at everything and i love them for it. i hate bridgestone though. dealing with them has never once been a happy experience. to the point where ive gladly gone and paid like $30 extra for each tire just so i dont have to deal with them...
Sydney is classified humid subtropical. Brisbane is classified humid subtropical. Northern Australia experiences a very humid wet season. Northern Tasmania experiences high humidity all year due to the ocean between mainland Australia and itself. Just about the whole east coast gets high humidity, but sure, take the sticky sheet off. Those engineers probably didn't know what they were doing anyway. This is a non issue, it's already been done to death. It was an over-sized intercooler, baffle or not. It isn't going to change performance, though potentially could induce water into the system.
the hood popper is on the correct side.. i just checked my 2014 ford fusion 2.0 ecoboost.. it was on the left side of the car.. ( yes i am in California) and i like your shows.. great humour
It's not the American motor. It makes more power, has 5 cylinders, is a 2.5 and has no head gasket or reliability issues. Everyone got it except the Americans.
Unco Casey don’t think so. It’s 2.3 ecoboost, 4 cylinder. The old focus RS used a 2.5, 5 cylinder, which I believe as a Volvo sourced engine??? The 2.3 is the Same engine that’s used in the lower power mustang, which hasn’t had any head gasket issues.
Yeah the problem was figured out though eventually thankfully, the failing gaskets are actually ecoboost mustang gaskets that have been mislabeled by a third party manufacturer, the head of the ecoboost mustang has an additional coolant inlet in the head which the fwd & awd eco boost models doesn't have. And that ends up failing as there's a clear gap in the gasket where it shouldn't be.
warriormonx Kia has a active recall that involves hooking a mic to the oil dipstick tube and listening for rod knock. Not a reliability issue though.. lol.. How could engine failure be reliability related? Some people are dumb right?

Mighty Car Mods 30 times?
Hey Moog you used a 15mm in the civic build video
i counted 39
Mighty Car Mods is the license plate for sale too? Or is that a hint at the next build?

DUAL intake air filter, got it. Took me a while to realize you weren't saying "jewel" intake air filter. I wondered what a jewel air filter was for a long time.
Josh Hayes well why and where the balls would you filter an air outlet on an engine?
Dual air filter seems pretty sensible given the application, unless he was souping up his Aircon.
I thought "Jewel" was the brand name
Josh Hayes hahahaha
Haha crazy aussie's
i thought "jewel" style intake meaning the open part that they emphasized on the top..
You popped it 27 times before twisting it
And about 6 in the twist
So
33
runforitman wow I got the same
Marty asked how many times HE popped the bubble wrap so stick with the 27.
runforitman you forgot when they were sitting in the RS
Kalie Martin I commented again saying that’d make it 46
But I don’t think anyone saw
26, I've already won the contest. Thanks for playing

Cardas Nibker I hope everyone wins lol

I'd rather have my strongest arm on the wheel not the shifter thanks :D
Slacks Meridian what if both your arms have the same strength tho?
You used 15mm wrench or sockets on the LS swapped madmax s15. Chevy/Holden ls engines have a bunch of 15mm on them

Take off your intercooler plate for 6 inches more intercooling. Because everyone wants 6 more inches.

this is a good point, you'd better hope they did this because it's one of the first things i've learned about doing suspension for customers.

when you close a bonnet don't push down on it because you could ding it, you should drop it just enough to close it.
And then hit it with a hammer.
To make sure it closed.

exoc1 they should have just put a mustang head gasket.... Oh wait that's how this all started :)
@12:36. Love hearing that Track firing up. One of my favorites on the Big Music pack Moog put out. Best music money spent in a long time....MASSIVE TRACKS.
Marty!!! You popped the bubble wrap a total of 26 times!!!!
😂 can't believe I just did that for a chopped sticker
29 lol!
First Thing: Check the build date, then change the headgasket if necessary!!!
I love this channel, one of the best UA-cam channel choices Ive made for years!!
7:05 It's not a weird Euro-thing. Your steering wheel is on the wrong side
I guess they think its weird because aussie cars and japanese cars have the bonnet catch on the drivers side even though it's on the "wrong side" its only euro cars that seem to not bother moving the bonnet catch over when they move the steering wheel over...
We bothered enough to move the driver's side :D
How can it be wrong it's on the "Right" side
Right, in Germany and in the US we drive on the left side of the car, the hood latch is right there at my feet. I have a Focus ST BTW.
Let’s hope your car doesn’t have that dodgy head gasket, haha.
Nope ours is all good!
lol you will not no till it pops :) and it more there block
Spoiler alert!
It will.
The floating cylinder design was a head gasket nightmare on essentially every engine that I'm aware of.
.....all good so far....o.0
Ford is replacing them under a customer satisfaction thingy. Just bring it in and they'll do it for free.
I don't know why, but when Marty says "do you want to pop a bit" is the best part of the whole episode.
How the fuck has a company not given you a lift for free advertisement at this point
I'm pretty sure they've said in the past that their shop's too small.
MidwestVillain Z Don't know about you, but as much as I want a lift, I don't have 10k plus to spend on one. Business advertise items that are affordable to a wide range of people... hence springs, wheels, filters etc.
Skritix where are you spending 10k+ for a lift ?
yeh like 2600 USD for a 12K lb 2 post
It takes away from the diy aspect of might car mods. Not everyone can afford a lift or have space . That and I don’t think they have enough space.
In this episode of Mighty Car Mods we void our new car warranty.
Steven Arnold they voided the warranty as soon as they laid their hands on it in the factory lol
lol, and probably a bunch of union bylaws :P BTW, I fully endorse voiding warranties ;)
Mountune is infact Ford approved, possibly needs to be installed by a Ford approved dealer but nevermind.
They need to buy " i am the warranty " T-shirt from B is for Build 😁
Fraser Cooley Unlike, US and UK. Ford Australia are yet to approve Aftermarket modifications. Even Mountune. So yeah... you void your warranty.
I'm from VIC, Aus. Currently leasing a 2016 Fiesta ST for work. I can confirm that Bayford Ford dealership installed a Mountune 215 kit on the ST and it did not screw with the factory warranty. If it did, I would be in a bit of trouble cause it's not my car.
i think the nissan leaf benefits the most out of all cars when adding a pod filter
can confirm i bought a pod filter and electric turbocharger from ebay for $50 for my nissan leaf. dyno'd at about 1500 kw.
DemonDew wow so that leaf would have been putting out a whopping 158.5 kw after that lol
Pod filter and i also heard if you lick 9 volts and throw em in the battery pack still wet it's like a NOS shot.
And a turbo back exhaust
So you downgraded the tires? The michelins were so much better!
The bridgestones are grippier
Don't be obscene! Re003 are mid range summer road tyres. The old tyres are cup 2s, a high grip ultra sport tyre designed for track use and OEM fit on ferarri, Porsche and most bmw M cars. The bridgestones aren't even close.
In fact on a wet track day my old golf R on bridgestones was struggling for grip, and a 720hp McLaren running cup2's was planted. Enough said
They have to use re003 because they are sponsored by bridgestone, no matter if the tyre is better on not.
Shrink1061 I don't know what you're ranting about but those Michelin's aren't anything special. They're basic street tires not for track.. Just have a look at the tread pattern.
Shrink1061 downforce makes that difference, not the tires!
Crazy it wasn’t even that big of a suspension drop, but it really did make a difference. Looks great!
HEADGASKET IS NEXT
Yeah pre July 2017 build date
It's still the same open deck block. They need to make serious changes, but I fear they have shelved it until they build the next generation, or they will make a facelift like they've been doing on the ST line recently.
Burly Heads the Focus RS isn’t coming to 2019, you know that right?
So true, One owner in Chicago actually experienced hydro-lock in one of the cylinders. The open deck is the main issue and a new designed head gasket is just a temp fix. If and when you mod your RS look out. Too bad with such a cool little hatch back.
@@burlyheads it was caused by the incorrect gasket being used. No longer an issue. It's the same engine in the mustang the focus st and the focus RS as of 2019 so they're all the same but running different internals. They're very reliable engines when the correct gasket is used with the correct tune and internals.
Go to 8:50 and just close your eyes
Bruh
They did that on purpose
PokeFever no they didn't, it was unintentional
Jr Torres oh I no lol sounds so wrong combing from a couple of guys I was wondering if it was intentional or just everyday ozytalk
They do that in purpose. You're not special writing the same time stamp half of new MCM viewers post
Front plate: 2SXYGTR
Rear plate: DQN94D
:)
Just drive it how it is
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
M&R Tuning yeah.... nah
New channel: Mighty Cars Stock.
😂😂😂 that would make this a car review Chanel then!!!
Mighty Car Mods I know right XD
Every car I have ever owned
This week take our already pretty good car to the shops for bread and milk.
8:41 - 9:25 Classic MCM ;)
TheKenji412 I seriously love these moments haha
Yeah I closed my eyes, listened and laughed my *ss off
Such good memories.
“The tip of its in but I cant feel it” oh moog
I honestly didn’t feel any difference when i installed an intake (performance wise) but i did gain some noise. 😎👌🏻
thats what most aftermarket intakes give you more noise=extra butt hp
I bought a Cobb intake for my Focus ST... didn't care about any 1/2 +/- hp gained or lost... but I love the the choo choo noises without getting some gaudi garbage
The bonnet release on the passanger side is relatively new to European cars I live in Europe and had heaps of cars with them on the drivers side or " the correct side"
Cost cutting ;-)
ah, but in Europe the drivers side is the other side, so the same side as the bonnet release side because they drive on the other side.
Its the TRD Laser.. IT WILL AMAZE YAH
FoMo co - Ford Motor Company
pretty sure they knew that. lol. But good info for those who dont.
Darksurfr 21:53 Do you reckon Ford has FoMo?
Darksurfr He's probably talking about anxiety..!
Ford used that moniker in the 60s, fyi.
FoMoCo has been used since the late 40s (I think '48 or '49). I even found a FoMoCo branded tin with some sort of wax rag in it in my '54 Ford Business Coupe... they used that brand for all kinds of stuff they sold at the parts counter.
Mountune! Matt Farah would be proud
I am glad to see a couple episodes of Marty and Moog customizing a Ford Focus RS and a big Ford Focus ST fan and I bought myself a 2005 Ford Focus ST back in 2020 it was a mess in the beginning I had to get a new clutch and transmission it was so trashed now it was runs awesome been going through the electrical and got my traction control back slowly replacing broken or missing parts on it , but wanting to get help on what would be good to do to modify my Focus ST and I always enjoy watching your show guys keep up the awesome work
The OE tyres are better than the new ones.
Hanz R56mc the oem tires suck.. If you were referring to the wheels ... They are hideous.
Nope
the oem tires are pilot sport cup 2's really solid tires
purplesmurf they aren't bad tires.. But they're not the best Michelin's.
The pilot sport 4s 😍
Raider Of The Lost Fart Not sure how much you know about tires but the sport cup 2s are a streetable track tire. The pilot super sports or whatever they are called now are summer tires made for the street and not the track, yes you can take them on the track but they will never be as capable on a track as the sport cup 2s tires or any compair able extreme summer tire.
7:15 in Europe that's the driver side LOL
in america that's also the drivers side.. kek
Nebbia affaraccimiei except for us Brits!
But you're not a part of Europe anymore thanks to Brexit..
Please note the comment you just read was a joke, I in no way, shape, or form think the UK is now, magically, not part of the European continent. Thank you for your time.
For me its unusual that the steering wheel is at the right side. I only see it at mightycarmods!
Maytricks you won't believe how many euro RHD cars does not move the lever. It's just too much hassle!
I run 1 inch (35mm) lowering spring on the original shocks, its a focus mk2 facelift 1.6TDCI. No problems the 3 years it has been lowered.
What a mad ending. Michael Bay would be proud.
PLEASE CALL IT THE MOTHAFOCUS!!!
The pod filter kit installed on my Audi A3 2.0T I'm sure didn't increase performance a bit but all the extra noise did make it more fun. Added bonus: the ridiculous engine cover with integrated air filter got to go in the bin.
Surely FoMoCo stands for Ford motor company?
Robert Parkinson yeah it does
YAY MY BOYS ARE MAKING VIDS AGAIN.
when i first got my prelude, i got a cold air intake and deleted the intake resonator... the date display i had showed like 2 hp gains. wasnt happy with that so i got rid of the coolant lines that run to the throttle body and intake manifold along with making a air box that seals the filter away from any hot air, made an additional 5 hp along with the responsiveness and sound of the engine.
Sorry I'm late MCM, I had to watch the HOONIGANS first lol 😂
it will be a happy day indeed when they finally do a collab. two of the biggest car channels in the world - yes, i know hoonigan are a lot more than a youtube channel... - it would be amazing to see them do something together. perhaps a hoonigan mega roadtrip to australia...
PommyDownUnder98 I honestly couldn't agree more! That'd be an amazing episode!
sooo should do an a capella version of the intro song and throw it in every few episodes or something...
@8:40: The play by play was killing me. 🤣
(Yes I am going back and watching older episodes while waiting for your new uploads!)
I love this song 10:31
Myles Burgess I know, I have been trying to find it
It's a Moog original, you can buy his music in the store
It’s unreleased :( I love it too
I don't know why he doesn't release all his songs, he should. Lots of his music I love are not released.
Download Shazam
I have seen a bunch of launches on the track but that's the first time I have seen you guys do it without a car.
Wasn't the point of the intake to make more noise when bonnet is closed? And then you test it with bonnet open
will sound the same with bonnet closed as i found out on my Volvo T4
Michelin Pilot Super sports to bridgestone RE003?!
Exactly... downgrade imo.
Sport cup 2 by the looks. Talking about going backwards
Yay for sponsorship
eh i dunno. id take my yokos over either any day, but we have RE003s on our two dailys and i wouldnt have anything else. not the stickiest, not the hardest wearing, not the best in the wet, but just plain and simple, good at everything and i love them for it. i hate bridgestone though. dealing with them has never once been a happy experience. to the point where ive gladly gone and paid like $30 extra for each tire just so i dont have to deal with them...
SPONSOR!!!
Just came back to this vid after buying a focus. Noticed Marty said “one day there will be a hoist”
How right he was
Take off the intercooler baffle of the passenger side of the intercooler its just sticky peel it off
It's there for a reason.
The Soviet Gutter Cat Australia is not a high humidity area threatened by water droplets. DUH
was looking for this comment lol. I'd definitely remove it in oz.
It isn't going to change performance, though potentially could induce water into the system.
that's will keep the high temp side cooler than it should be. Don't do that on the stock car.
10:40 "some internet Engineers.." lmfao!
MCM happy about getting American made parts to install. That makes me smile.
I came here for the head gasket failures.
Nikoxion Yeah, uneducated comments like that make me laugh.
ua-cam.com/video/kvEBXAAy_SM/v-deo.html You might learn something if you do some research.
I was stoked at the new RS but to many reports say that the engine surface & head surface has unnecessary warping at low engine miles
Josh Naranjo It's only like a figure of 3% boyo.
Puff the Magic Dragon that’s 3% so far. That very high for a new car! More and more will fail, probably when the warranty is all gone too
Honda S2000 invidia exhaust install you used a 15mm!!!!!
the hood popper is on the correct side.. i just checked my 2014 ford fusion 2.0 ecoboost.. it was on the left side of the car.. ( yes i am in California) and i like your shows.. great humour
this is a good week... first unicorn circuit makes a return and now this :)
Subways Shenanigans and skid factory on MCMTV2 new episode yesterday!
yes, that too!! not much into offroaders but still good entertainment :')
When they open boxes to find a hoist!
The engine block cracks. Such a shame. Really sweet ride! There's a video on UA-cam with a dude that cut the block in half to show the problem.
No head gasket jokes, please
*too late*
Yeah we wouldn’t want anyone to get upset and blow a .............. lol
TRD Focus?
5 years on I had to come back to this video...
I just did a thing and brought an xr5 turbo...
Not sure what I want to do to it but k ow it needs doing
eerie cuz thats almost exactly why im here I was looking at buying one
We have got 5 of these cars in for head gasket replacement this week so far at the ford dealership I work at. Fun cars but don’t seem very reliable
Slapnuts that’s cause they are under an FSA / recall for a head cylinder pressure test. No indication of reliability.
So a pressure test where they replace the head gasket like he stated? ... lel
DKTAz00 no. Of course they replace it - why wouldn’t they?
warriormonx Kia has a active recall that involves hooking a mic to the oil dipstick tube and listening for rod knock. Not a reliability issue though.. lol.. How could engine failure be reliability related? Some people are dumb right?
fc3sttwo so two people in Australia from the couple of thousand (est) have an engine failure and that counts as being unreliable? Yeah. Dumb.
