Just moved to Cork from Kazakhstan and was at the game last night against Hacken. Incredible atmosphere. So so impressed with Cork City FC on and off the pitch. Fantastic club!
This isn't the irish league. The irish league is in Northern Ireland that I would love copa 90 to cover. This is the league of Ireland, which is the southern league.
Saw it when we did Dublin Derby Days, Irish club football fans are incredible. Up against so much, and with so little to work with their dedication to their clubs is inspiring. Keep it up Cork City.
Its kinda sad to think copa 90 who are from England are promoting our league more then the FAI or shown on tv but i love your work please do more league of Ireland teams :)
@Gggg haha come to our rescue! Your country supported the Nazis. You even concreted big arrows In your landscape to guide nazi Bombers. If it wasnt for england you would be speaking German right now
Great to see more coverage for the league! It would be sad to see any team in the country go under as we saw with Monaghan! Well done Cork supporters you lads are top notch, look forward to facing you home and away for years to come

Went to Cork City 2005 to watch Hibs play them in a friendly match and had a great time all the fans drinking together before and after the game.. Great club and fans.
Waterford fan here massive respect for Cork City and what theyve done for Irish Football you could say we have had a bad couple of years going bankrupt in 2016 and in 2017 winning the first division and in 2018 finishing 4th and qualifying for the Europa League Qualification Rounds hopefully next year we can just sustain that level for maybe one or two years and go on to hopefully win the league
As a Cork City fan to see the transformation of the club from almost dying to competing for league titles in such a short period of time was absolutely incredible. I was at the game vs KR and the atmosphere was just amazing. You could just sense the togetherness and bond between all of the fans. Its a fantastic club and it can never be taken away from us. #CCFC84 #CCFCINEUROPE
Mad respect for Cork. I'm a Dundalk fan and Cork are our main competitors so i want to see them lose, but at the same time i would love to see them win after what they have done as a club.
Do AFC Bournemouth. 6 years ago they were deducted 17points and bottom of league 2. Then Eddie Howe came in and they stayed up on the last day As a result of a late winner. The next season they promoted to league 1. Eddie Hope went to Burnley and then returned a year later when the club was 21st. They promoted to the championship and are now in the prem.
Football is massive in Ireland. Because in every place you go, apart from the big places dublin, It feels like a small town thing. Everywhere you go you connect to some person. It's there because it connects even the Protestants and the Catholics, and it makes you feel like everything will be alright. Every family is united in Ireland and with football it connects us like a spiderweb. It is glorious
Thank you copa 90 for making this video and following up on my suggestion for ye to make this video. Ye truly have done more promotion for the league of ireland than the fai have done since like forever
Thank you Copa90 for yet another League of Ireland documentary. We really appreciate the hard work and effort as well as your taste for the hidden/forgotten side of football.

Such a passion for the local club. Terrific job done by the community! And what a great job done by Copa90! Keep posting those videos showing everybody that football is much more than just the Champions League clubs!
My team Hereford United went through a very similar time to Cork. Sadly we didn't make it but a new club has been born, Hereford FC. Fan owned. Thanks also to Copa90 for spreading the word about the Irish game. Hopefully more Irish fans will make it to their local team!
Irish fans you mean cork fans,A sligo rovers fan is not going to change his allegiance to cork ,basically because its 200 miles away.My local club sligo rovers has fans from all over the west of ireland, but my local club is based in the west so the fans are fairly local. The football season in ireland is played the same time as the GAA season and GAA has an average of 16000 compared to 3000 league of ireland thats something you don't have in england.Although the main cmpetition is the premier league

can you guys please do a vid on another league of ireland club called Galway United? Like cork my local club has been through tough times in 2012 we were liquidated and for two years us the fans fought hard to get our club a league of ireland licence and as recent as this season we are back in the premier division as a solid mid table team (from the first division). As a league of ireland fan im delighted with the effort you guys are doing with videos on the league to get irish fans to get behind their local teams.. hope you guys can make this happen as you would have a VERY CHUFFED SUBSCRIBER :D

CORK! I've loved this team since I did a career mode on FIFA 13 and they were the first team to sign me on loan and we won the title so I've followed them IRL ever since lol sucks they couldn't win the title last year but looking good so far

These are the types of stories that make European football so special. I wish there was more of this in American sports.

no offence but without relegations and promotions the fans and clubs will never get this level of realism as the teams are never playing for something
