Thanks to the people of Glossop and North Shields for being so welcoming and showing us around their towns. The players and staff were brilliant too. Just shows how the tournament really can boost be a boost for the whole community. Long live the FA Vase!
my local non-league team that played in the fa vase this season is hullbridge sports. we didn't make it all the way but we knocked out Rushden and Diamonds :)
You guys should do a video on Wycombe Wanderers after an amazing turn around season from being on the verge of relegation to the conference last season to a trip to Wembley next weekend for the play off final!!
Ryan Navickas Been to Wembley with Everton but my local team got to the semi of the vase in 2014..just missed out on Wembley..gutted, but what a journey & just as exiting as the FA cup
always remember, no matter where in the world you're from, support your local football club, as an american a lot of people here support a random european club and not their local mls, usl, or nasl clubs just because the clubs aren't as good as europe, but i wouldn't have it any other way, love supporting the club that play in the town i grew up in that represents my area
Being from Newcastle but spending so much of my life down in North Shields, and Whitley Bay who have won the FA Vase a few times in recent years, it makes me so happy to see this competition get the recognition it deserves. This is what football is really about. Fantastic job Eli and everyone at Copa 90 for highlighting it to the world.
Thomas Goodall Cheers Thomas - Whitley Bay have had a great history in the Vase so bet you're loving North Shields' success too. thanks for your support.
I'm a lifelong Villan but my local is Solihull Moors, great fun seeing those boys on the pitch. They are a merger team between Moor Green and Solihull Borough.
Tom Mallion there's also a brilliant interview with the North Shields striker, Gareth Bainbridge on our website: copa90.com/gareth-bainbridge-the-northern-leagues-messi/
I've been to the final of the fa vase 3 times in recent years with my beloved Whitley bay, its very nice to see north shields also find success there, the north east are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to amateur teams!
Matty Hunter Yes Eli met many Newcastle and even Sunderland fans which were getting behind the North shields lads! Great footballing community up there
Copa90 is the bomb! These kind of documentaries are great. Real insight, created by passion and support. This is the stuff big networks dream of but you guys create!
Wow! Another fantastic feature from Copa90. This deserves more views , what a brilliant feature to highlight 'real football' and how much it means to these communities a far cry from the glossy premier league. Keep it up Copa90!
I may be getting to this video late, but I've actually teared up seeing all the passion that these hard-working people have for each of their respective clubs, and this game in general. This is why I love football.
Being born in Ely Im proud that Ely City FC got into the fifth round of the FA Vase :) It's a small city and not really high in the football pyramid but what they achieved to get there and so far was a proud moment for them. I'm an Arsenal fan but Ely was where I was born so I have a heart for them and hope that they can one day achieve higher things.
Being from Newcastle and watching this makes me so unbelievably happy. This is why I love football, this is why no matter how discouraged I become I can never let go of it. It's more than a game. It's a part of me and my life. Great stuff!
Pause the video at 14:11 and you can see me in the crowd when north Sheilds score, wearing a white Jacket, great experience glad North Shields won that game. (Newcastle United fan)
That was an amazing watch! I'm from Newcastle and actually went to school with Gareth Bainbridge, and play 5 a side with a North Shields Ultra, so this was amazing to see. Congrats again North Shields. We are proud of you!
This is exactly why I love this channel, I learn so much about football in general and stuff I would have never even heard of. Such a great job you guys are doing!!
my local team Darlington played in the next trophy up from this one the FA Trophy in 2011 and won 1-0 thanks to a 120th minute winner that is why non league is at it's best... really did enjoy this feature cant wait to see more
Wembley is such a beloved venue that I bet they could fill the lower bowl for a couple of middle schoolers playing Pokemon Go. Everyone has a cool Wembley story of events of every kind!
It's brilliant to see a team from the northern league have so much coverage. Doing the north east proud. Hope I can go to Wembley next year supporting my team marske.
Copa90 must be one of the only channels out there that does features like this - absolute pleasure to watch and totally restores your faith in football, thank you!
Yet another quality video from Copa90, probably one of the best yet. Love to see a channel that doesn't just focus on the PL but on grassroots football and smaller derbies all over the world. Keep up the fantastic work fellas, one of the best channels around.
Makes me proud to follow my local team. Seen them lift the Evo-Stik Premier Shield last year after following them up and down the country. Went down to Poole Town's ground in Dorset that was 3,000 strong. Went 2-0 up, then 2-2 then 3-2 at the 80-85th minute. Best away day of my life and I'll never forget it.
Idk how I never saw this before. Been subbed to Copa for at least 6 years and this didn't pop up back then. Glad I went back. Highly interesting video.
Wow huge thanks to Copa90 and Eli for covering this tournament and the story behind these team, astonishing what sheer pashion can produce in lower league clubs. For me THIS is what football is actually meant to be!
Thanks for this brilliant quality video! Been an unbelievable effort from Glossop North End leading up to fa vase final! They had to play a ridiculous amount of games in a few weeks prior to the vase final culminating in league and cup double..
I'm from South Shields just about 2 minutes away from North Shields on a ferry and I couldn't be more happy for them on not only getting to Wembley but winning there too considering Newcastle can't even get to Wembley so congrats North Shields you've made the North East proud
Brilliant brings back memories if my local team winning the fai shield

Copa Fam, watch out for Oakham United FC in this cup next year. . . will be our first season in the FC Vase qualifiers and we want to claim a few scalps
Only in England a carpenter could go on the job site on a Monday and be like "What was you up to this weekend?" "Nothing much, scored a brace at Wembley"
I was a Atlanta united fc fan from day one and saw the dome go down and the Benz stadium go up and was in the hospital 🏥 for the thyroid cancer second battle and came out on top Victorious
I was at this game and even though the stadium was no where near full the atmosphere was incredible. I am a GNE fan so it was a disappointing result but we won 2 out of the 3 trophies we were going for so it was an amazing experience and one I will take with me forever!
This is what football's all about. Forget the massive wage bills, transfer fees & televised matches for a second. This is true passion and love for the greatest sport in the world! HAWERE YOU SHIELDS!
At 6:09 Gareth Bainbridge says "I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been dreaming about scoring" and then at 14:02 he scores the dramatic equalizer to send the game to extra time. Its enough to make a grown man cry.

I support the team from the place where my Mum is from though. I don't really like the area that I grew up in that much.
You are so right. Fortunately my city is unlike that, but many USL teams are way underrated
Vamos Orlando City!!
I wish the us had a promotion and relegation system too that would make it much more competitive
my local club recently joined the usl, but got rid of our homegrown players and recruit players from europe instead
Being from Newcastle but spending so much of my life down in North Shields, and Whitley Bay who have won the FA Vase a few times in recent years, it makes me so happy to see this competition get the recognition it deserves.
