Great intuitive video, and this will help alot of player's out there that are just fed up with trying to workout things out. but there's a simple way of fixing all this and that is for star base to make all this less complicated. Trouble is when a player goes into ship design they design and build a ship to there needs and look, but when it comes to coding the chips and naming ships computer for thrusters and trying to workout way your engines are not working or not recognised by the ships computer, star base ship design gives you no help what so ever in any of these matters and may as well say you have been suckered into building a ship for days congratulations on wasting your time there's no help from us. This is the problem I keep seeing time and time again and why alot of players don't stick around and leave, bad customer service results in customers leaving.
Thanks for the scripts. If you also want to add Turtle Mode to your Forward/Backwards Script. Rename LeverMinOutput to TurtleMin, LeverMaxOutput to TurtleMax, create a button and rename ButtonState to Turtle, set the values ButtonOnStateValue to 30 and ButtonOffStateValue to 100. Next replace your Forward/Backwards script with: :TurtleMin=-:Turtle :TurtleMax=:Turtle :FcuBackward=-:FcuForward goto1
I have followed, checked everything multiple times The text panel says “booting isan” I think it might be the receivers They are all set up right and have power however the receivers “message” only says origin east, and I have seen on videos it should scan through North, south, east Any help ?
Does this work on sole text panels mounted on a seperate control table? The script seems to be running fine and the reciever is mounted and functional, but the text panel isnt being updated. The panel itself is also hooked to the network as its mounted on a 45 degree stand that has a working button.
@@Ravaen Got it working and found the issue. Aparently the lower part of the 45 degree stand dosnt count as a control table . I also tried to use a panel base but aparently that dosnt work for text panels at all, even if it claims it does.
You can change your transponder settings to show origin stations from further away, 500km is the limit to my knowledge. You can also set up a reciever to check but it requires a different code.
ISAN calculates the speed based on your coord changes. There are other scripts that do something similar and are more accurate and they all give around the same speed. Currently there is no dev provided way to get your speed
Don't you need to change you Override button ON and OFF value state? By default when button is ON it gives value of 1 which will make FuelChamberUnilRateLimit = 100 - "number", while button OFF state gives value if 0 will make FuelChamberUnilRateLimit = 100 - 0 because you multiply by StoredBatteryPower by 0

I made it 6 mins into the video before i had to suscribe. You are a saint helping us learn this.

Thank you !! Please show us more yolol improvements , it is very useful .
GREAT Tutorial!!!!!
i had to suscribe!!
Sorry about the decrease in mic quality for this video, it will be better for the next one!
Great video :) Do you know how to create a brake button so your ship will use the reverse thrusters to slow down/stop faster??
Its possible but hard, if you join the collectives discord they might be able to help
what do u do if u want to have the forward/backwards script but u want also to use the turtle mode? nice videos btw thx a lot
Thank you... Granted I will stick to using math for my speed...lol
But the forward-backward script is needed.
my CL keeps changing to 0 and 1, it wont stay as 1 and i dont get why

It should work if the text panel is properly connected

What do you need to show your distance from origin station from far away?
You can change your transponder settings to show origin stations from further away, 500km is the limit to my knowledge. You can also set up a reciever to check but it requires a different code.
Tried the power save and cant get it to work
same nothing happens
How do you know the speed of your ship is 110m/s? Can we use some formula to compute the speed when designing?
ISAN calculates the speed based on your coord changes. There are other scripts that do something similar and are more accurate and they all give around the same speed. Currently there is no dev provided way to get your speed
Can you make a tutorial on robot arms a simple setup? like movement to move with a Yolo chip Is levers and buttons. Lol. 😁☝👍👍👍👍

Yes, you would invert Override so on means 0 and off means 1
Ur title is isan... should u of started with that?
I have timestamps so I think it's fine
