okay so i downloaded it but i wasn't able to open it (i have a macbook), and a finder window popped up and said "this application can't be opened. -10661." what does this mean and how do i fix it?

Been having the same issue with all the ships I build, so figure it is something I am overlooking. All thrusters are named differently, Center of thrust is almost dead on in most of my builds and is almost perfect (save a few mm) in others and despite having an overabundance of power, I cannot seem to fly straight. I can for a bit, almost immediately after engaging forward thrust, it starts to auto-correct as if I have run out of power, yet it holds stable at about 9450 battery level. Usually, it jerks ship constantly until it decides to stop... If I try to turn and level off my course, it jerks again until it decides to stop. All thrusters are firing and some are going none stop or in small intermittent bursts... I don't understand what is happening, which is most frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: So with help of a person, I found the issue was somehow related to how I renamed all thrusters and such. All thrusters had their own name, and all names were updated to the flight computer, yet removing those and using the thruster tool to auto rename fixed it.

I have a symmetrical ship with thrusters placed on the same places on left-right and top-bottom but for some reason whenever i try to roll it chooses different sets of thrusters for roll left and roll right, resulting in rolling to one side being a bit quicker. All thrusters have renamed (less than 50), have been connected and are otherwise working properly .just everytime i test the ship, it decides to use different thrusters and does not utilize all of the thrusters available for the maneuver. I tried renaming them, grouping them together (even grouped it still doesnt use all thrusters placed in the group) and everything else recommended and that i could think of... anyone else had this problem?
watched your video copyed some stuff and my thrusters dont move at all still no clue why its like my flight computer dont wanna work at all and they have cables going to them both and they have power..... Any idea whats going on

Simple Trig can do a lot of cool things :) if you switch to a trig formula, pretty sure it would not only update faster, but be even simpler,
i am having a problem i cannot seem to solve. i have everything here done as it should be. i have made 2 different ships. and the thrusters will not operate. another note to add is that my buttons do not seem to work either.
Any chance you can do a run down to a rotating / pivoting turrets yolol version of this, or does this code work without having to code in the rotation and pivots?
Can you make a tutorial on robot arms a simple setup? like movement to move with a Yolo chip Is levers and buttons. Lol. 😁☝👍👍👍👍
Update: This the best code. I use it on all my builds lol. I also pair it with a zig-Zag pattern (on different yolo chip).
Great intuitive video, and this will help alot of player's out there that are just fed up with trying to workout things out. but there's a simple way of fixing all this and that is for star base to make all this less complicated. Trouble is when a player goes into ship design they design and build a ship to there needs and look, but when it comes to coding the chips and naming ships computer for thrusters and trying to workout way your engines are not working or not recognised by the ships computer, star base ship design gives you no help what so ever in any of these matters and may as well say you have been suckered into building a ship for days congratulations on wasting your time there's no help from us. This is the problem I keep seeing time and time again and why alot of players don't stick around and leave, bad customer service results in customers leaving.
I'd like to add something else I just found out. If you wire up something before it is properly bolted down it will show as connected in the universal tool, but won't actually be. It will not communicate over your network. You have to move it, bolt it down, then wire it back up to get the object working again. I beat my head against a wall for a couple of hours before I figured this one out.
You can set the min and max on RT to 180 and -180 respectively, keep them -180 and 180 on LT. Then you can control both of them with a single variable.
Your code doesn't make any sense. :ML is the on/off toggle for the mining laser, where 0 is OFF and anything not 0 is ON. You could multiply it by a billion and not affect how it turns on or off. The only thing that does anything in this at all is the ratio divider for :RT being 90 / range.
Is detail video on how tractor beams work will be nice.
This is not working for me. I do not see how this code will turn on my lasers when the range finder detects an object. :ML=22*:MINE-R? ML is binary, 0, 1. On or off. I don't get it.
Yeah I don't understand it either. If the target range is 5, then 22*1-5 == 18. 22*0-5 == -5. Both of these turn the mining laser on. There's no way this code does what it shows.

Lasers auto turn on with nothin in the beam... How can I fix that?
You can run a ship with out batterys
complete waste of time, with this setup you only have 1 point in the entire range of the rangefinder that will work, mite as well jest set the lasers to a fixed cross position and forget the rangefinder and yolol chip. you NEED Professional yolol chips to do trig. the chip needs Xhalium is not in game at this moment.
but mining laser range is very short

For many ships, the basic setup is slightly different. The rangefinder is usually not at the same level as the lasers. I bought the Momento and upgraded it. The rangefinder is at cockpit level and the lasers are about 2 meters lower. This made the challenge for my script a bit more complex. For me, not only the rotation, but also the pitch is relevant. For my setup I wrote the appropriate script. Unfortunately this is not universally applicable for other ships. If there are then the rare ores, I can write a script with the professional chip, which optimizes the calculations with a specification of an angle.
Pro chips are not available yet... atan() would save my world
Is there a way to make the lasers in this YOLO to pulse because my ship cant do 2 mining lasers more then a few seconds.

I'm having some difficulty setting this up.. but that might well be due to inexperience on my end..
I'm having issues as well and I can't figure out why. Like 1 the lasers turn on even though nothing is in front of the range finder. And 2 they aren't turning to aim at the laser. Don't know if I'm using the wrong turret base or not for that bit. Also the * in the code is a lot bigger then it is in his for some reason. Idk how to make it as small as it is on his chip

In SSC, my turret continues to rotate until they shoot themselves. What do I change to limit this? Max rotation??

an advanced turret cradle can both to the right and to the left, I need it to move both to the right and to the left. That is, the mench has a rangefinder in the center and on the right and left there are cradles and it is possible to aim at the asteroid. Sorry for my bad english
