wow BIG THANKS 🙌 glad we won you over. You may have the same initial reaction to the living room when we finish that video and if you decide to watch it! 😬
It is of course extra cost, but I would have been tempted to move the kitchen to the front of the house, and have another set of doors at the back to make the most of the dining area. You did an amazing job of the kitchen, it looks great.
What a brilliant transformation! I love your new kitchen, you have used every single cm with loads of storage solutions! Very clever and beautiful!!! ❤️
Hey! We’re embarking on a similar journey with our house, and LOVE you channel & transformations. Actually not far from you. We used to live in North Yorks, Durham now. Looking forward to more videos!
Hey! Thank you so much, it’s really great to read that you love our channel, we couldn’t ask for a better compliment! Good luck with your house, we are about 1.5 years into our journey and still so much to do! Hoping to get the next video out in the next week or so and can’t wait to show you our living room. 😀🙌
Brilliant transformation, and love the style! We are considering a downward extracting hob such as the one you have! What happens if you have an overflow of water from a pan etc, is there a danger of it breaking, hoping they have something in the design to keep them working when those accidents happen?
Thank you 👌😀. There is a removable tray which houses the filters and collects moisture from the air anyway as ours is ductless and doesn’t need extraction to outside , just down and back under the units. The tray would collect the spilled water which is separate from any electrics! Then it would just be a case of emptying the tray and drying out the filters. Hope that helps 😊
Thank you!! 😀They are from Elesi and the sockets are Lieber Brushed Copper we love them so much we like it when they can be seen rather than hiding them away!
Pity the cook-top could not have been sited further away from the side wall. Also, drawers in the base cabinet under a cook-top for storing pots and pans is much more convenient than fixed shelves. Very little usefulness in any kitchen for base cabinets with doors and fixed shelves -- drawers much more useful.
Totally agree but this was the maximum drawers we could have in the kitchen and we couldn’t have drawers under the our hob due to having the induction and extractor in the cupboard directly underneath. We know what you mean about the hob in the corner but we prioritised not having a hob in the island. 😊
Thank you James!! Good question 😁We were going to put drainage grooves in the worktop but instead we have a free standing dish drainer wrack. Most of the time though they go straight in the dishwasher in the utility!
Hi 👋, we definitely will be adding them, we didn’t get time for them before this video went out, hoping by the next house tour/update video we will have them installed! 🤞🧡
I really love it, and am definitely stealing those paint colours. I have a *very serious* question; does the boiling water tap make the tea taste different? We are a family of committed tea drinkers and although I think the boiling water tap would be a brilliant idea, if it makes ‘sub standard’ tea then I’ll have a mutiny on my hands!
Ahh thank you and go ahead steal away, we are just pleased that you like it! With the boiling water tap….we love tea too being from Yorkshire we are always drinking it. We honestly can’t notice any difference, it has a filter and for us it’s a game changer!
Great video guys, I'm currently looking at a house that will need a new kitchen, after watching this I'm very worried about how much it'll cost! You did all the work yourselves, so that probably saved alot of money, do you know how much it would of cost to be installed by Wickes? Was that even an option?
Thank you! We were always going to fit it ourselves so we never asked for a fitting price but i seem to recall seeing a price on the computer screen at the initial conuslatiuon at Wickes and it was just over half the cost again so around £6000. From what I gather when talking to trades people is that the best and cheapest way is to get an independant fitter. I hope that help.😊
How refreshing to find someone using colour. Love your style guys. Good luck 🤞
Ahh yay so glad you think so! Theres going to be much more colour coming in all the rooms! 🎨😊
Wow. This was an amazing transformation. When you first showed the colours on the wall I didn’t like them but the end result was brilliant. Love it
wow BIG THANKS 🙌 glad we won you over. You may have the same initial reaction to the living room when we finish that video and if you decide to watch it! 😬
I had the same with the cutlery draw but after a few months the double opening was very annoying 😂. Nice job on the kitchen, that flooring is 👌
I don’t know what you mean…😅 thank you the flooring has made a massive difference!

Looks really great. Where are the over plates for your sockets from? I love them
Thank you!! 😀They are from Elesi and the sockets are Lieber Brushed Copper we love them so much we like it when they can be seen rather than hiding them away!
Brilliant job. Huge undertaking and you guys did brilliantly. Bravo. New subbie here.

Great job. Good to see that Dexter has his own cupboard. What's next - a castle?
Thanks Dave! Im sure by the end Dexter will have a cupboard in every room! We think a castle might be too big....maybe...a chateau?
Looks great guys! But where do you put dishes to drain after washing up?
Thank you James!! Good question 😁We were going to put drainage grooves in the worktop but instead we have a free standing dish drainer wrack. Most of the time though they go straight in the dishwasher in the utility!
Looks amazing guys 😍 well done 🎉🎉
Thank you 😊, glad you think so 🙌
@@the_jolly_reno i do!! Also very entertaining videos 😁 I love it 🙌
@@GemmaP22 ☺️☺️☺️
Looking fab, don’t know where you find the time both?
Thanks N, we feel like its being going on forever...on to the next room 😅
Hi where are those lovely wall tiles, are you still adding them?
