Adrian thanks so much for another great video! I live on a 35 acre hobby farm in Australia and I so love coming along to farm virtually with you on your lovely property. The way you shoot the videos makes us viewers feel like we are there with you! I love seeing those rolling hills, such beautiful countryside. Thanks for taking the time to create those great camera angles and show us so much - I've learned a lot of practical skills around how to do things too. This is my favorite UA-cam channel by far!

Have several of them, not the job for mowing though, a toplink can be set easier and holds it position for the cutting height 👍
@@IFarmWeFarm I used to think that also but I have a measurement pin to pin wrote on the mower for topping and another for mowing I don’t think I will go back to the normal top link but I would still use a normal one for the fert spreader as it’s a lot of weight on a nut holding the seals

I loved working on a Sunday, animals still needed feeding , cleaning out. I also got double time on weekend (gov job)
And missed mass and burnt Sunday dinner.

How did the half of the field that was undersown with the spring time Harrow earlier in the year compare with the rest?
We didn’t over sow that, we just harrowed out the chickweed and it’s now gone as the grass was able to smoother it out. We did overseed some paddocks at home that were badly pouched and that was an incredible job. Just like a reseeded field with a nice thick award. I do think I will swap out the seeder though for an air feed version instead. More even feed in windy conditions

You wouldn’t think that the mower would cut at a fast tractor speed . Of course I’m not a farmer but I’m really impressed .

Great video as usual Adrian I would say though I would recommend a hydrolic top link they are one of the best things you will ever buy. Massey seems to have no problem pulling that mower

Just come over to watch your vlog after watching Once A Day Farmer youtube channel in New Zealand - 320 head of Jersey cows, milked only once a day, on grass outside 12 months of the year, currently calving around 10 calf's a day all outside and little to no assistance - interesting different methods each country has depending on the climate

Lovely weather for silaging will make great stuff. On the mower I think for cutting for silage a conditioner is essential or else u have to tedder it out. Lies too flat to the ground and baler will not pick it clean if it's a stroke that's not moved by the rake!! My opinion 👩🏫🤷♂️
I’ll show the fields on Sunday’s video, clean as a whistle after been raked, we always rake up our silage anyhow

I got biting about 10/15 times that day, I was moving a fence the day before and nearly had to abandon it and go home, could keep them of me.

I have been mowing my own silage for numerous years now bought a new Malone disc mower but it leaves the grass to flat traded it for mower conditioner . It’s the only job and also ted it out much easier to ted when conditioner .
Nice job. Only bit of advice. Go for the 320. You will not regret it.

Brilliant wee video again. But you are aware the 895 would drive that mower anywhere. We used to mow with a 9ft tarrup with a 85hp John deere 2650 on the country. That mower has no conditioner. 70hp would fly with it

Mighty viewing altogether Adrian..... great to see ya knocking down stuff at a fine pace and fine straight stripping too may I add.....as I'm said on FB earlier in the week ( well wear !! ) I thinks me self that mower ain't leaving !!!! Hope ye got it in dry and the ground well coated in the smelly liquid afterwards.

Great video. I think Krone should give you a very good deal on that mower, you haven't said a bad word about it and that should be great advertising for their product. I cut hay many years ago with tractors with no back window and you trying to open a straight set down the middle of a big field and about a dozen horse flies bighting your back at the same time. The good old days 🤔😂
Great piece of kit Adrian doing a grand job by all accounts… appreciate your point on the sound quality however get that AC on, us Celts 🏴🇮🇪 are not designed for this heat 😅❄️

It didn’t take up much time, the demo arrive a little late so that put me under a little pressure to get it done b4 the rain returned, otherwise I’d of been in no rush. But I do fully understand what you mean 👍

If you turn left left arm down 5 turns will shave ground much better and floats easier
