Yeah that's a motorcycle. If you get stopped you better be registered and insured cuz that thing won't pass as an "ebike" lol definitely not doing any sidewalk riding. It's cool but you lose out on many of the "ebike" pro's

It’s a very cool motorcycle. Doesn’t fit as an e-bike. A big part of the draw of using actual Ebike fir travel is it’s low key. Doesn’t require a license or registration. These bike being claimed as e-bikes are going to ramp up regulations. Not a huge fan of “motorcycles” in this field. 1/3 the price gets you better range and performance with a combustion engine. E-bikes aren’t meant to be 65mph transit. Assisted bicycle is why there aren’t a ton of laws. Boo to this crap

Mine also. The display says 70mph,, but I think 65 is what it is really going. Did you use the app to tune it?
Price seems fair if you want an e motorcycle, along with the DMV stuff, and ride less than 60 miles.

The Solar Eclipse looks so good. Sorry, the P-51 looks homemade by comparison. Some people, like me, want a physically larger bike. How does the cost and weight of the P-51 compare to the SE after all the mods that you've made to the P-51?

If you wanna register it, why not just buy a proper electric motorcycle, like a Zero. A slightly used FX, FXS/FXE will run about the same price as this bike.

The issue with these bikes is the battery and a lot of parts are all proprietary with the design..on ur p51 u can swap a dead battery with anything..
Most e motos are proprietary

Because of the motor on the swingarm this is a street bike...way too low for off-road

Oh and for everyone giving him a hard time saying it's not an ebike and saying it's too much power to be considered as an ebike, remember his P51 has been souped up and highly tuned so it's not a 750w 28mph ebike either. I think it's awesome that he's getting to show us a high powered ebike.

I have one. Two improvements I would like. One is an off switch for the headlight and the other is a half throttle rather than a full throttle like a motorcycle for added safety.
You missed 1 improvement needed that you mentioned at beginning. These bikes priced over 5k need to drop fat ugly Obama phone looking displays. It's embarrassing and insulting to beauty of bike. This is definitely not ebike but cycle and should have bright LED cluster gauges and elaborate ones at that... It's not only the eclipse but many others guilty of same cost cutting cop outs...

I'd for sure put foldable pedals on it so I don't look sus at all 😂 but for sure needs mods for the motor to not stick out like a thumb

Solar befindet sich im UK, wo man das Motorrad registrieren darf. Was auch immer der Weg ein UK Motorrad in Deutschland zu importieren, registrieren, usw. wäre, könnte vielleicht auf die Antwort deiner Frage hinweisen. 👍🏼
Cannot use bike lanes/paths with this motorcycle. It's not that you can register it, it's a motorcycle so you are required to register it. You did not compare the two bikes properly, one has pedals and a rear hub motor, the other has no pedals and a mid-drive motor. I'm not even sure how you would use pedals with a mid-drive motor, maybe someone knows. Good video and audio quality.
Dude,if you did one thing..... stick with ebikes,not scooters.
