I am 42 , starting beauty school on February 18th. Unfortunately you have to go through all the different types of classes. I want to be a licensed nail technician, but there is no place around me that just offers that. Happy to see that I'm not the only one over 40 who is starting their career over. Good luck to you! I hope you succeed!
Im 42 I am so excited to be going to nail school in the next year March 2022 and I have been learning so much about nails and everything else associated with nails
Thank you so much for this video! I'm not a nail tech. I do my own nails at home and so does my daughter. We've had so many poor experiences at Salons. I like gel nails she likes dip. I wondered if the two could be combined, googled it, and this video came up in my search. This changed our nail time commitment so much!
I was all about enailcouture, but I think I'm about to jump ship and commit to youngnails. You guys just give me a nice video layout and education. Second best is Suzie, third is nail hub. I watch other nail techs, but these are my three go to. Young nails education on how to do everything nail. Suzie for designs and product. Nail hub for in detail history and step by step instructions.
This video just saved my day !!! Thank you Tracey It took me no time to copy what you did with my dip powder and it turned out amazing !! Just thank you guys
I did dip french manicure on myself the other day. It's so easy to get a decent smile line! I think the main reason people are reluctant with e files is that they have either been hurt by an unskilled user or know someone who has. Even as an amateur, I learned how to use one, much prefer it to soaking for ages in acetone! Very pretty set!
There's actually a company that reached out to me on Instagram in boca I went to check out their products and they did this same method with their gel. I didnt feel like spending money on new products. So I was glad to see I already had these young nails products 😊made my day!
I love all of Young Nails videos I have learn so much from just watching the videos I love the young Nails community God bless you all and keep up the good work🤙🤗💯❤️
I have a question about conversion as I have not seen a video explaining it. You use conversion base, cure, then caption polish. Do you have to wait for the polish to dry completely before using the conversion top and final cure? I may have missed a video on this. FYI, this method works with any slightly thicker base gel polish, but not so well with thin base gel polish. You can also use slick pour or any of your acrylic powders, it's awesome!!
I love this real time video. Sure I'm not as fast as Tracey yet😏 but I wouldn't't want this service to be longer than 30-40 minutes. Time is money and one of my big goals this year is to get better with my time. That's why practice is everything. I know for fact the @youngnailsinc products are sound, my application is getting better everyday, my passion is real. I can't wait to add this to my services. I'll have one more thing ahead of the competition. Thank you 😘
Also please list what you used, I am placing my order with you guys on sat and it would be great to know the product as it’s super hard to pause and try to find it on your site not knowing for positive if it’s right! Thanks again and love this channel!
Products are listed in the video as shes working, and you can always DM to ask. This video was caption conversion, slick pour powders g force and star vapor.
I appreciate all the question and answer session, but would love to know what you are doing as you are going...it's much easier for a newbie to follow, and going through hundreds of videos is very time consuming. Thank you for all of your help, and making a popular idea affordable and EASIER!!!!! 100
Can you please explain how to use conversion and powders to do an umbre or pink and white.... i LOVE the conversion system but im struggling figuring out how to get this to look right
I tried this technique with ultimate finish gel and I am in awe. It is so easy and forgiving and results are perfect. The sidewalls and cuticle area turn out clean and neat. The ease of brush on gel with the strength of hard gel, yet there is no need for skilled gel or acrylic application. It files off so easy, one can probably do it without electric file. The brightness of the dip powder colours, yet there is no headache of dealing with resin system. And one can use ordinary nail polish or mission control paints for added nail art. It is truly revolutionary. You should market caption conversion as a kit with a few colours of powder, top, and some nail art supplies, especially for home based nail enthusiasts who want beautiful results but do not need extended length.
@@apolishedtouchnailstudio finish gel as a finish gel, sorry that my comment was not clear. I am doing mostly my own nails, so I can’t justify investing into many colors so I appreciate when I can use all my products creatively. Few days ago, I tried mixing dip powder with flex gel and applying with a brush. The mixture becomes thicker, very easy to work with, I applied in 2 thinner coats instead 1 thick one.
So glad you did slick pour 👍 I do a lot, my clients are loving it and most of all they love that there nails are growing stronger from it! I’m using the coarse safety bit to remove…is that what you use???

It could be considered a hybrid since it is using acrylic powder with gel. With that said, usually when people refer to hybrid nails, they are talking about acrylic and hard gel.
That was definitely fast. But she "walked" in with perfectly shaped and clean nails. The service changes a little when they need shaping and maybe a little more cuticle work right? Or is that where the extra 9 min go towards.

How do you remove extra particles from the conversion brush after a service?
it really doesn't pick up much but if you have an issue just a nail wipe or table towel works great
How come you use a conversion base instead of using steps 1-4 for the slick pour??
How much should a beginner charge for this? and what would you charge for a nail tech with experience
Can you use the dip powder with tips if someone has really short nails? Is this better than hard gel for beginners or home use (I went to nail school but don't work in a salon). Do you get a better result at the cuticle with this? Is it easier for working on your own nails? Thanks so much!
