We have a restaurant south of Seattle about 45 minute drive in Tacoma who specializes in this soft tofu soup. My Korean mom lived in Anaheim and we’ve both tried the soup in LA and here close to me in Tacoma. I would have thought LA would have made it better but my mom loved the soft tofu soup restaurant better here where I live. She passed on Mother’s Day in 2023 and I miss her so much. I have no reason to go back to the Anaheim and LA area since she no longer lives there.

@@Maangchi Thank you so much. I lived in Korea from 2 years old to 13!years old. I was the closest to my mom so I still am not doing well handling it. It was also one of my granddaughter’s 10th birthday. When she called me early in the morning telling me she thinks it’s her heart causing her pain, I was able to fly out the same day and see her at the hospital for an hour before visitor visitation was closed at 8:00 pm. After that I stayed with her at the hospital while my husband stayed at the hotel at night. I found you today on You Tube and love your personality and how you teach us viewers how to cook Korean dishes.
On my 30 minute lunch break after walking my dog I have 15 minutes left to make this meal so I can eat while working from home. You saved one extra hungry belly today.
