Do you think this car deserves to be a parts car? Should it be restored? Or scraped?
Such shame was forgotten & left to rot like that, now is too far rusted underneath.. (watching you guys from Europe love the content)
Best option in my opinion this would definitely be a great donor part car for another similar model. cheers !
restored!! its a jewel!
Scrapped-not even worth parting out.
16:25 looks like a 320i or 325i engine
It's a BMW - should have been scraped as it came off the assembly line.
Love the unedited, raw video footages. They give more insight on how difficult it really is to drag out an abandoned car. Keep adding these in the videos!
Thank you! We wanted to see if you guys would like it
I second this
I third this!
Love the raw footage! I think it’s great to have a bit of backstory/context behind the car
Please make more videos like this one. It adds another facet to the awesome work you already do and bumps the videos up to another level
Seeing your personalities without the feeling that you are self conscious of the camera was great in this video.
Keep going.
Hi, first time commenting. Giving this car a total clean shows off the car but also shows the problems. I think this should be restored.
Yes definitely agree! Loved the video and would love to see it saved. We save worse vehicles on our channel haha. Work with what you've got!!
Considering the amount of money it would take to restore this car, I just don't see it being worth that much to recoup the investment. This car is not all that uncommon.
Any BMW is worth saving, especially an old one! I love the hole raw video, pulling the car out from a condemned house ready to collapse 😂 now you got it, make it shine baby
I agree.. An e30 like this one in a good condition is worth like $30.000 here..
@@andersnielsen6044 i love 320i or 323i 6 Zylinder.M3 Package is really Miracle you find it under 50tsd Euro!
I’ll never understand why people let cars deteriorate like this, especially a great car like a BMW. Kudos to you chaps for cleaning her up.
It has the m20b27 eta engine made for USA only 325e, designed for torque and economy rather than performance of m20b25 in the 325i
2.7 eta ,made also for europe, had one in germany years ago.
My teacher had an 325e.
Netherlands 🇳🇱
I, have a comment. Hello guys, my father taught me, when you start washing a car, you start from the top, & work your way down, that way you are not covering the same area twice, make sense. My point is I see you guys start from the bottom sometimes & work your way up. You waste time ,water & labor by doing it that way. Just my thought ok. I took my father's advice about everything, & it worked out better. Take care
True❤🎉
The start from the bottom up since they're making content for UA-cam
True
They know from top to bottom, but this is a video and deliberately the reverse
They do the roof last for video purposes. If they started with the roof some of the dirt would wash off the bonnet, boot and sides. They often tell us this in their vids.
Another one 🔥🔥🔥. Am I the only one that has noticed a few big detailing channels who do great work but seemed to stage some of the trashed cars trying to shift to "barn finds" since this channel has started it?
I bought a 1981 Cadillac Deville from a friend in 1995 after his mom passed. It sat in the driveway for months after I met him. I eventually offered to buy it. I got it for $700.00 !!! It rode like a plush sofa on very high quality shocks down the freeway. A magic carpet of a car. I spent weeks detailing the real leather seats, every little AC vent plate and the epic chrome grill. Even car wash employees would tell me how perfectly new the car looked. Detailing a car that has been very well kept is very therapeutic because there is no FAIL in the work. As long as you relax, become very Zen, don't hurt your fingers, work ergonomically with good posture in a ventilated space - and take breaks when you become fatigued,. The satisfaction is real.
Yes! More videos like this!
WHO lets a great car sit and rot like this though??
Love the raw footage. You can see the entire hard work you guys put in. Amazing job. Thank you
Great video this week guys. Really enjoyed the car rescue and the banter 🙂
Amazing video!! The footage style and editing was 🔥 Crazy to see how BAD of shape that car ended up being in that sketchy house.
Yes! I love the raw unfiltered content.
I personally like the unedited video better it gives us more of an appreciation to what you guys do.
In the beginning of the video after the front end was cleaned off and washed I was going to say that this car would probably be a parts car of how much damage was to the paint and rust to the rest of it.
That is the first time I've ever seen a wheel full of a car from rust. It just comes to show how rusty and very decayed this car was.
I'm glad to see that this car and some of its parts are going into other cars so they won't be wasted in a junkyard.
It was very nice to see a WD detailing video on my birthday!!
I had a E30 BMW that I bought new at the time. I remember being astonished by the quaility of every single part and here we are 34 years later and this seriously neglected car still shows how well built they were.
Mr. B. Here ! Glad to see the some parts live on trim carpets should be put in the garbage 🗑️! Nice job guys !
I really enjoy seeing you give these cars back their dignity, even if it's not savable as a runner. Keeping the dream alive for other E30s!
Love the raw, unedited video - keep ‘em coming! I also love when you can get one running at the end.
Yes love seeing a transformation. That's what we are gong for on our channel. But I do like ve the mechanical stuff too
I have a BMW E30 and it really is an incredible car. Compared to other 80's car, everything from the carpet to the plastics is really high quality and always cleans up very well. Some how mine still has an uncracked dash. The engine in this if this an "i" motor car is a M20b25.
I think it is a M20 b25 too.
It could be M20B20 or B23 or B25. U can't tell without the code on the block.
@@PSimonsen American market never got the m20b20 or 23. Only 25 and 27
@@ShakeNBlake509 Ok, i didn't know.
In Denmark the most common one, was the 320i and 318i.
Y’all boys are doing the lords work
I do like unedited. It shows us that not every pickup goes smoothly. And I really personally enjoy seeing what you guys do to get a car out of a crazy situation. especially when it's beyond buried or under a house that may collapse at any second.
Great video this week. I like the raw footage as well. I like how down to earth you guys. Glad I subscribed!
For some cars is too late 😢
The power washing phase is the most satisfying thing on this channel
I’ve had a pretty bad recovery, 1985 MR2
It’s sat in an open barn for seven years and then outside in the field another seven.
It was sunken into the ground up to the doors, couldn’t open without digging in the ground around them.
All four wheels were seized with rust.
I ended up pulling 2-1/2 garbage bags full of nests from rodents out.
I had to spray everything down with bleach, and wear a respirator while I cleaned it.
It broke my winch trying to pull it out of the ground.
It was 97° and humid outside.
My brother bailed on me to help , it was just me.
I ended up using my truck to pull it out with a tow strap after detaching the u-haul trailer.
How did I get it on the trailer you ask?
Every spare fluid container I had in my truck was dumped onto the ramps to assist with dragging it onto the trailer.
How did I drag it onto the trailer with a truck?
By leaving the trailer detached and chocking the wheels, attaching a 3 inch ratchet strap to my tow strap and pulling it from in front of the trailer.
Eventually, I got it onto the trailer, hook the trailer up and drove the hour back home.
Getting it off the trailer was also interesting, but I’ll let you use your imagination for that one😎
I dont know anything about old BMWs but this is so satisfying to watch
I enjoy your episodes I am always waiting for the notification from South Africa 👌
even the licence plat says eww 🤣
I like how you guys not just fixed it up with cleaning and so fourth. But also that you saved the whole car from getting crushed by the house itself.
This is awesome!!!! I really like the raw unedited footage!
i see a lot of urbex explorers to know how a place can rot like this one even in a couple of years so, please be careful they could collapse any time soon in those condition. as for the car, cool classic and cool red paint but she was way far gone to be saved, so it's fine to "save" it for parts.
the little "fight" left me rolling on the floor lol, you are so funny and cute XD never change guys!
Love the vidios you guys do amazing work
Superb sir
Great video, I love those "barn find" types. It's a shame such a nice car would be left to rot like that, but it was fun to see you guys do some urbex. 🙂
The unscripted stuff of collecting the cars and goofing around while you're cleaning them, is always good for a laugh. 👍
Another great video guys. Your personalities mesh so well.
Yes start filming like this. It was different and fun to watch.
love these raw videos of finding abandoned cars.
"I'm completely captivated by this restoration process. Every step was done with such care and precision."
R.J. and Mike are superb automotive detailers. Thank you,
How many love E30 ❤
Great job, what a shame that a vehicle ends up like that. Thanks guys!
yes...film raw and unfiltered...its great!!!!
You guys are truly amazing at what you do another satisfying video
09:45 guys i like your sunglasses ad 🤣🤣🤣 its so creative 🤣
Raw is real! I love it this way. Keep going guys. Great job!
I watch every one of your videos. I've actually met you guys before at the auto show, these videos would be absolute epic if you could have a video of them getting started again or roadworthy
I would have left it where it sat!
What was the point to even detail it this nice then part it out? makes no sense.
Great work cleaning up that poor BMW ! 👍
I'm glad to hear others can benefit from parts of the car.
I like the raw. If it was me I would scrap the car, but you guys, you're about a challenge.
Wow!That red BMW looks like new!
I had a 94 cadillac fleetwood i bought a few months ago from someone. It was in a garage and hasnt been moved in over 10 years and charged the battery a few minutes and it started and we drove it to the house lol, it was mad dirty in and out and even a rat bone inside , mad dirty. I wish i knew about u guys at that time maybe u would like cleaning it up😂theyre was alot of scrap metal in there too and a few 100ft husky extension cords Lol. I bought the car to use for parts (i had to strip her because it wasnt worth saving, the floor was all rusted and had holes, unsafe to drive but had alot of good parts
Videos like this for sure! Keep up the great work guys!
I never knew you could take abandoned cars. Super cool 👍
As for me,I love to see every car restored! I love car restoration projects ❤!
Well done! And much like a Horders episode, I immediately feel compelled to go outside and vacuum my car and wipe down the interior. Can’t…let… this…happen…to…my…car…✊🏾
In this video, with that filthy BMW, my main thought is that if I were one of your customers looking for parts, I'd MUCH rather pull them from a CLEAN car, than a dirty car. AWESOME WORK, gentlemen! 😎
The OG bottle cap wheels! We used to put those on the old school Hondas lol
Engine is a M20 in line 6. Look for a timing belt change sticker most likely adhered to the fuse box cover.
Конечно по хорошему ему требуется реставрация. Но хочется сказать вам спасибо друзья что вы тратите огромное количество времени труда что бы не давать умирать этим прекрасным легендам ! Говорю вам огромное спасибо мужики !!!!
Amazing how the carpets came up really good
0:48 that “EUUUUUUUGH” got me dying (real dying)
Awesome video brother!
Amazing to watch it come back to looking like a nice Daily. Of course other issues like getting it running and replacing rusted parts underneath. It gets expensive but if someone can do the work themselves. I hate to see a nice e30 rot😢
Great video, knew someone that cleaned up a chevelle , got rid of the carpets but never did get rid of the mouse smell. Later sold the car ,next owner found a huge nest inside the dash.😂
Would LOVE mech from you. I'm disabled and I just started my own detailing business. I've learned a lot from y'all.
The motor is a m20b27
Nobody would fault you if you quit whilst you were so far behind on this car. Bravo for daring to pursue it further. Can't wait to learn what comes of it. Ciao
Definitely love the raw video. Also all E30s are worth saving.
i just discovered your channel bruh, lucky to watch this barely uploaded video. You guys are awesome at what you do, keep it up.
Found your channel and instantly subscribed. Love your content and attention to detail.
So cool. You guys are having a great time together 😂
Yes! Yes! Love the whole video! More please!
Please continue to post those "raw" and unfiltered videos. Also, this beauty is sure worth saving 😊.
Hey WD Detailing! I have a question! Probably asked before but can't see an answer across many videos.
After you've cleaned and vacuumed up the carpets/any fabrics in general, how do you dry them?!
I see you do multiple pass overs to clean, then vacuum up, and then sometimes blast pressured air over it and revacuum, but that still wouldn't come close to drying. Even if you were to leave the doors open it'd take a week + to dry, and all that time it'd just smell of mould or general dampness, so super curious!
Not sure how these guys do it. Personally, I use air movers (used in the carpet cleaning industry) to dry interiors.
@@djsassafrass9126 That's actually what I think the detail geek once said he uses (although 9/10 times the cars he details are actually kept at his lot for 2-4 days on average. He has a bunch of mini air fans, or in fast needing times he has 3 heaters he puts into the car for 30 minutes at a time. Lots of other details mention they dry, but never how so thought I'd ask WD peeps haha! :)
03:14, "This is pretty ridiculous." --> Works perfectly.
I wish icould meet you guys
At first , with the rear suspension failure and the axle issue , looking at it , it was appearing to be a total jumker but with the scrub up to see what you have , it proves that looks aren't always right , I think the car is saveable , the motor , being an ETA 2.7 , can , with the 528i chip swap (factory) turns it into a 2.8 powerhouse . I recomend it goes to an enthusiast who wants to and is able to restore it , not be used as a parts car , I have not been underneath though , if it is very bad , its still a very good donor car .
Always enjoy watching these videos. It would be nice to restore the whole car instead of parting it out. These E30s are truly legendary!!!
Good rescue guys
318i 4 cyclinder. Great work guys regards from Namibia.
It is a 6 cylinders M20.
I love these videos. Bringing back some of these cars from my youth is just wesome. Can I ask...do you recall what brand floor tiles you have in your shop?
Happy Chinese New Year 2024🎉WD Detailing! Very amazing👏! I enjoyed the watching videos😊!!!
I really enjoyed the raw style video
Also the E30 is my favourite generation of bmw
And it's a 2 door too
Of it's the straight six it's worth saving
The 4 cylinder ones are not great engines .
Have a great week 👍👍
The raw footage is great. So sad this car was left to rot like this.
As always you dudes are champs! Crappy car, dirty floor!
Honestly, just a suggestion. That's actually a cool older BMW and instead of partying it out, Why not save it and invest to get it fixed and then maybe sell raffle tickets so a subscriber could possibly win it. You would make your money back and then some. You would also get more content watching this vehicle run again. It would be awesome, I know I would definitely buy some tickets to win this vehicle
I like footage like this. Bring us the tired...the poor ....the wretched refuse. Given the suspension issue you've initially encountered, I'd say she's toast. I'm guessing this is a 320i with 2.0 litre engine. Great job guys
Great job! That car is loaded with salvageable parts that will help keep many other E30's on the road ☺
Have you guys thought about contacting Derek at Vice Grip Garage and get him working on rescuing a car once you've detailed it?
The interior carpet must be changed.
for sure you'll find in better condition carpet for e30 with beige colour 😅
Next to the 1974 2002 I had, the E30 is my favorite BMW.
Congrats you have awakened the sleeping dragon known as the classic BMW E30 community that are going to insist on justice being done to that E30. Congrats and good luck.
Sweet video! Will you guys make a video showing what products and equipment you use?
Awesome recovery!
