Yea I built my first ever pc a few months ago. Ryzen 7600 rx 6800 etc. but with ram I didn’t know what CL was. I got a 32gb kit of 6000 mts t create ram but at 48CL. I don’t know how much of a difference it makes🤣 I built my lil bro a pc a month later with all same parts except a 7800xt and this time ram with 6400 mhz and CL 32. On novabench his overall score is 25 percent more. I don’t know if most of that difference is from the gpu upgrade or ram CL upgrade
Hey James, love your videos. I had a question about the Ram Dimms. is it true that we only need to buy the ram which is certified for that specific CPU or can any ram work because I don’t usually see people mentioning a specific certification for a specific CPU.
So typically with amd it won't work unless you get lucky. It's being worked on though but most report failure without lowering the ram speeds down to 2400-5000 when it's ddr5. Unsure about Intel but they got their own massive issues with CPU right now
Probably a stupid question but you mentioned 32-34 CL, I bought G.Skill 6000MHz with a CL of 30, is there ever a time where the latency can be “too low”.
Great combo if your budget in mid range ,,, you won't have to upgrade your cpu for many years and the RTX 4070 Super is the best bang for buck on the market
Need a reply on if my ryzen 7600 and rx 7600xt is gud with a 550watt psu (the build isnt built yet) and im getting 16 gigs of ddr5 ram 5600mts and 36 CL
NOT a good idea to pair that SLOW ram with Ryzen 7600 ,,,, 5560 watt ,,, IF it is high quality and at least bronze rate ,,, really better using 600 watt plus ,,, remember you have chosen an AMD GPU ,, they are massive power wasters
Nice trim James 😎
Pretty niche concept, but could you make a video on mistakes that people do on OPTIPLEX / any office pc builds?
Thank you for all your videos they are very educational and helpful
Can you make a video comparing the best ram and m.2 options

definitely gpu
Have you heard of a company called nVidia ,, they sell vastly superior GPU's that use far less power

Intel go with XMP. AMD works with both but I go with the EXPO because why not go with the certified one.
Any RAM will work.
Of course there is
I just ordered the parts for a pc build with the Rx 7700 and the ryzen 5 7600
Bro same😂😂😂
U guys will enjoy great combo
Same, just getting the 7600x instead, or possibly the 6800

can I use the same ram as dual channel if I buy them separate or if I buy the same ram twice!

Is ryzen 5 5600 and 4070 super a good combo ?
so for gaming in 1440p aaa and competitive games, should i go 7800x3d - 4070 super or 7600x 4080 super?
Probably a stupid question but you mentioned 32-34 CL, I bought G.Skill 6000MHz with a CL of 30, is there ever a time where the latency can be “too low”.
No. Lower is better. Much lower Cas latency with high transfer rate usually go for pretty expensive
6000mhz with cl30 is very solid
Is a msi z790-max-a pro, i9 12900k, gigabyte 4070 super 12gb, T-Force 32 gigabyte of ddr5 6000mhz, on a 2560×1440. Good
i dont understand what you meant with cl32 and cl 34 i was about to buy a 32 gb ram 5200mhz bc the motherboard maximum was 5200mhz and i took a cl40
Is the Ryzen 7 7800x3d and rtx 4070 super a good combo because i have the thought to get it

Looks like Corsair 3500x

The last point (about psu's) and some other points are completely irrelevant when it comes to itx systems.
