Brogiotto Nero is quite misused name in Italy, this is known. In some regions there's a tendency to call every darker and rounder fig a "Brogiotto Nero". In fact there's identical to Black Madeira, also named Brogiotto Nero.
The fig you have looks quite similar to Sultane de Marabout (in US just Marabout) which originates in North Africa (known as Ounk el hmam), became quite popular in Greece and Bulgaria as commercial variety. However that one is known to be Smyrna type. But the appearance and the growth seen in the video looks quite close.

      Hello!
Thank you, this is very interesting!
Yes, I realized that in Italy they take the names of varieties very lightly..)).
I watched with great interest several videos about the Sultane de Marabout variety. Yes, there are certain similarities - the leaves, the shape of the fig, the pulp, the taste of the mulberry. I'm not sure that my fig belongs to the Smyrna group, but it is possible - blastophaga is present in my region. This season I will try to keep this plant in a sunny position and see if the coloring becomes close to the color of the Marabou fig.
Thank you very much for the interesting and useful information!
      Sincerely,

      Hello!
I have already begun to root all the cuttings that were possible to cut from the tree. Perhaps closer to autumn I will have young rooted trees of this variety..
      Sincerely,
      Figs in Israel
