My suggestion: Find the worst shell you can find... like something that someone else gave up on, and try to save that shell. You saved the worst N64 board I've seen, now cleaning up and restoring the worst shell you can find seems like the worthy sequel to go with it

i used to work at a record store. this reminds me of the collections that would come in moldy boxes that were previously fused to the floor in people's damp basements. absolutely dumbfounded by how rusty that thing was. nice video :)

I just got a genesis that looked this bad. Cleaned it up and worked. Amazing. The n64 had a corrsion issue on the 5v regulator that caused it to shutoff randomly. Worked perfect after a reflow.
The video looks terrible on it so thats my next move. Thanks for the vid!
These old systems are incredible!! If this was a new system it would have been a goner!! I’m totally shocked that all this n64 needed was to be cleaned.
Your n64 might just need the capacitors to be replaced to clean up the video output 🐺🐺😁😁
Mod that shit to hell and back in a video. P.s. Power switch may need torn apart and the contacts cleaned cleaned. The light flickers when its on indicating a contact issue.
