Shanks was waiting for blackbeard but blackbeard went to a different island that was why shanks was hanging around elbaf one of the three islands but shanks got kidd , blackbeard got law and world govt tried getting Luffy but failed making Imu kill saturn.
To be fair Shanks crew has the most balanced bounties in terms of amount & we know nothing about the Red Hair Pirates besides the little info we do know about Shanks and how Yassop is Ussops father. Blackbeards crew just has more screen time.
@@martinpayne8769 The thing is everytime we see BB or his crew they are succesfully completing missions around the globe, while the red hair pirates are in bars getting drunk. Not saying they aren't competent (they are) but the BB pirates are on another level regarding this matter.
@@axedrel211 You bringing up how we always see Shanks crew getting drunk while Blackbeard’s crew are always getting objectives done is a good point no argument there
1:09 When Laffitte brought up the idea at mary geoise it was rejected at first due to Blackbeard having no known feats yet that would earn fear and respect from other pirates. Hence why blackbeard set out to capture luffy (initially) but then switched to capturing Ace in order to earn his status as a Warlord.
2:05 Perona being not included in the poster of Cross Guild makes sense as she's not as infamous pirate in her own right and that she doesn't do much to stand out.
I think the poison thing WAS a test, but in a complete opposite way you brought up. Bartolomeo drank the poison and proved himself to Shanks, so they just blew up the ship as a publicity stunt and make it clear everyone knows what they're about, all the while secretly going in to rescue Barto and his crew. They're fine. And soon, Thousand Nika will rise. If Barto had accepted the task to poison Luffy, on the other hand, Yasopp would surely have gone for the kill.
I agree with you that the poison was shanks test for barto. If barto agreed to take the poison shanks would have personally ended him, but since barto proved his loyalty to luffy shanks wavered and was willing to let him go at the expense of his rep. Yassop made the decision to take them out on his own and had every intention of killing them all. I think shanks crew operates not on his authority, but on the unified belief of a set code. That way they all operate with the same mind and goals and whenever one wavers or shows weakness (shanks weakness for luffy) the others can override it (yassop telling shanks to move aside). Also I think we are all forgetting how broken the barrier fruit is. Barto is comedy but hes easily the strongest member of the grand fleet and is more than capable of protecting his crew from that attack. He just couldn't save the ship. Yassop 100% went for the kill man give barto some credit 😂
@@jonathanakujobi3255 i think you kinda overestimate the barrier fruit a little bit. Sure it is really strong, but the strongest person to block it of was only oden. And dont get me wrong, oden is strong but not as strong as an admiral or yonko. And no one said it is indestructble. Also Bartolomeo needs to activate it and thats the problem in this case, because he does not only need to know there is an attack coming but he also needs to be fast enough with his hands to activate it by crossing his fingers. We never saw barto use any kind of Observation haki and yassops attack was instant. Maybe he somehow was able to activate it fast enough, but thats more plotarmor then bartos power because he isnt fast enough, doesnt have a way to notice it before it happens and even was thinking he just gets to leave
Man on the Internet, you're mistaken. Egghead occurred in 3 days. 1. The arrival of the Strawhats and them getting trapped in the labophase. 2. Invasion of the Marines and Gorosei. 3. Straw hats at sea with Lilith. As for Barto and Shanks, that happened a month ago. I.e., around the time of reverie and King Cobra's death.
Straw Hats at sea with Lillith was the same day they fled Egghead due to the Marines and Elders arrival, the 2nd day. We just got a 2 day travel "time skip" but it was 1 night in Egghead(remember the York mystery killer night?). Maybe we should ask if Kid was taken down the day before Luffy reached Egghead, because it took Dorry and Broggy 2 days to get home and they were with Shanks on Elbaf when Kid fell. So they should have been on Elbaf with Shanks 2 days ago, aka the day before Luffy got to Egghead and saved Bonnie from the Warm Eddy Also this "over a month ago" Barto flashback had to have happened after Kaido fell on Wano when Shanks said he'd go after Barto while sailing up to the island, which was after the Reverie too.(this is bugging me but it's what happened, and it wasn't just a comment to throw off some 3rd party on his ship just his crew is around when he sees Luffys 3 billion bounty a week after Kaido fell. I was hoping for a reason there... but none.) So Shanks took Marco home and took care of Barto, and still beat Kid to Elbaf with enough time to catch up with Dorry and Broggy who shouldn't really know each other since they've been fighting on Little Garden.
Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbe as a group was a clever decision on oda’s part. When it comes to the original six, they tend to take the sidelines. Not to mentioned Robin and Franky already has an existing dynamic Robin has also been placed with brook a number of times in Wano and briefly with Jinbe. This is also Jinbe’s time to form proper dynamics with someone who isn’t Luffy, Nami and Sanji
There is still a part of me that thinks Moria goes to Wano from Fullalead Island, in particular because of how strong the corpses and samurai shadows are there. Perona being that silhouette running from Yamato recently could easily be a thing, but I am not holding my breath.
@@ChaseDDream samurei are as overrated as whitebeards commanders they were all weak asf and the so known 7 strongest were weak too 0 impact whole arc (expect for emotional impact) Unless you count the 2 beasts moon transformation (which they could use to beat jack without a sword anyway)

@@dargus1718 he's durable, and now with some of Kaidos abilities and an older body he is capable of training at an decent level. Plus he stayed on Wano to protect it and become strong like his father, I don't think he reaches Odens level or anything but he should be much stronger than most of the time since Punk Hazard. We can disagree that's ok.
I honestly enjoy when the crew is split up because, as you said, not only does it make a bunch of puzzle pieces that are being tackled at the same time and need to be put back together, but it's also fun to see different combinations of crew interact. It's fun to see what groups emerge and to have it hammered in that they're all friends to each other and care about each other. Zoro doesn't JUST care about Luffy - he cares about Robin and Nami and Sanji and Brook and Jinbe and... well, EVERYONE. And getting to see them all interact on their own with each other is always fun.
I think it’s funnier to imagine Loki as an otaku or nerd or dork like person, as opposed to a child, like he’s got legos, tons of model kits, reads comic books etc… and that’s why he’s so controversial in giant society, he doesn’t fit in with the warrior macho mindset of giant culture, he avoids exercise and combat at all costs or something, and maybe he’ll only find his strength and reason to fight when something or someone he values or cares about is threatened Edit: this could also be how he could relate with ussop, ussop being a weak coward at heart but overcoming his flaws and weaknesses to defend his friends/crew and that in turn inspiring Loki to act as well and also could be ussops crowning “great warrior of the sea” moment we’ve all been waiting for IE inspiring someone just like him to overcome and throw aside their weaknesses and flaws to defend and protect what’s right

12:13 about Shanks and Bartolomeo, it really felt like what we just saw was a flashback to one month ago when Bartolomeo burned his flags. i dont see any reason why hold him hostage for a month and then sink his ship
Yeah i think Man on the Internet mistaken, the timeline should be Shanks went to Wano > They went to Gartel Island to meet Bartolomeo > And then they went to Elbaf.
My prediction for chapter 1127: If the upcoming chapter takes place where the previous one left off, then we should get a brief flashback on what really happened to the Nami & the other SH who were split up from everyone, which will lead to them being in the same situation as Nami is, as well revealing wearing Elbaf outfits themselves. But if the chapter has any non Strawhat related contents, then we should get at least an update on the other Grand Fleet members including the people that were close to each SH, and hopefully they are doing better than Bartolomeo was. Followed by every character's reaction to the Egghead Incident, Saturn's death (even if partially fabricated), & the Strawhats new bounties. Break next week.
@@blitzgaming9561 hopefully whomever took Nami is revealed, though we could get a reveal of whomever the silhouette was on Elbaf and it be a misdirection from Oda. I'm wondering who sent the Giants to Egghead if it took 2 days to sail home, wouldn't it also take them 2 days to sail there give or take? If Luffy was on Egghead for one night, the Giants had to have still been on Elbaf with Shanks and kid the day before Bonney popped out from the Warm Eddy. Also could be a reveal that Shank or Cross Guild is pulling up somewhere to fight, or God Knights appearing for the Revolutionary Army? The islands name is Warland. I wouldn't be surpised if Nami is going through some trials to test if she is a brave warrior of the sea either for marriage or heritage or just to see why the one who controlled Big Moms(giants hate her) homies is not like Big Mom and isn't going to hurt them. Usopp is with them too maybe for a similar reason, and I kind of expected Luffy to have to prove he is pure of heart to the giants who worship Nika but some might question Monkey D Luffy as the heir to Nika or Joyboy. Oda seems to have told us the missing crew is in Elbaf, just like when Kid got woken up there are giant fish around, but we don't know who yet. I also want to see Bonney turn the last elder beard, 350+ years old, into his prime 170 year old self to do some massive attack...😍 Side note I swear I remember in the past year rereading something from the past that had lego blocks in it, and it wasn't that cover page... maybe from Thriller Bark but I am trying to find it because I remember those barrels and lego tops to blocks somewhere else...
I think the most logical thing for Blackbeard to do is sell Garp to Buggy. Then Buggy will announce the execution of Garp, the Marine Hero who even battled against Roger. Luffy will once again be at ends to save his grandpa or chase his dream. This is going to get very interesting because it'll be the second time Blackbeard has sold someone close to Luffy to advance his own position.
Except they're gonna need get past Cross Guild to get the One Piece. So that isn't at odds with his dream. "To celebrate our glorious Captain's claiming the one piece we will execute the Marine Hero. Broadcast live from Laugh Tale.
Barto was never underutilized. He was sneaky hint of Nika. Barto was called a "Rooster". When the sun rises a rooster crows; Barto does that around Luffy.
It’s clear that the bigger and stronger the crew gets, the more often they get separated. And it started orange town when luffy and zoro got sperated after he got taken by a bird. (And it was only two of them at the time.)
Buggy has inherited Rock's and will fulfill it by becoming king of the world - right after it has turned to shambles (not the one Law can mend with his own Shambles). As always, he'll attain a position just before or after it becomes practically worthless. Edit: to clarify, that was a joke. A bad one that read more like a theory, hence the clarification.
I feel you but the rocks crew was full of up and comers who went on to be great. Cross guild is the reverse.... a crew of has beens 😂😂😂 Still love them tho but yea no Doffy moria mihawk !! Unstoppable team still

I love how these videos get uploaded at midnight, or at least they do here in NZ. So I get to watch them with my breakfast. Great start to the day, I'll slip and extra shrimp on the barbie for ya.
I wonder if that lego room is Loki's toy box and Nami & co. have become his impromptu toys? Loki may not be a villain or at least not an intentional one, just extremely childish for his age.
2:34 Apologies but my brain just thought of a connection that might also play into Moria joining Buggy. So Buggy is a man with two men ‘under him’ (as the world believes) that have fought a yonko. Crocodile who has fought Whitebeard previously and Mihawk who has fought Shanks previously. Moria has fought Kaido before as well, which would mean that Buggy would have three individuals who have each individually clashed with different yonkos on his crew (as well as each of them were part of that regular group of Yonkos we were introduced to, only exception being Big Mom) With the only exception being Big Mom. Then it makes me very excited to imagine that maybe Law will join with Buggy as Bepo swims and washes up on that island. Nothing suggests Law other than him believing Buggy to be strong and him actually meeting and joining Buggy to then see his true strength level would just be hilarious to me, that and the Straw Hats reaction would be golden. Also some side notes that could build connections is that they are called Cross guild and Buggy is known as a God. A cross has four points, so him having four people with high renown under him to represent the four points as he is the God stuck to the cross would be poetic to the name. He would have four people that have fought one of the originally introduced Yonkos which I have said, but he is also someone with a connection to Roger so the world would lose their minds with it. “Crewmate/Adopted Son of Roger claims four Yonko combatants as his entourage” This would also mean that Buggy would have four previous Warlords on his crew as well. A weird connection is that each of them have something involving a Cross in their character. Mihawk is obvious with his sword and him carrying a tiny cross sword on his neck. Crocodile hung Cobra up in a cross type fashion with nails going through his elbows. Moria has his cross necklace. Then there is Law who’s sword scabbard has crosses going down it. Funny side point as well that Mihawk can be the right side of the cross since he is right handed (seen with the small sword fighting Zoro). Crocodile can be the left side since he lost his left hand and that’s now his hook. Moria is the bottom portion of the cross because he has the Shadow fruit. And then there’s Buggy and Law which Buggy is the ‘HEAD’ of the organization so he can be on top while Law is known as the Heart pirate so he can appear in the middle of the cross. This still puts Buggy above all of them on the design of the Cross guild and also it can play as the opposite of the marines since they have a cross symbol that has four circles, one in each location that each individual of Cross guild would be placed.
It's definitely a child. Oda has been interducing little kids threw arcs and using them for the sake of the plot; Momonosuke, Tama, and Bonnie. We also have the two little girls from water 7 and Skypia( they weren't important but they were there) . Gaients and Strawhats are no game for one individual to mess up with, and the saki they drank is a strong one. I don't think Nami is hallucinating because everyone else didn't seem to have that effect when they woke up. I wouldn't be surprised if a kid snuck into the ship, and came out after everyone went to sleep. I feel like if a kid saw how colorful Sunny is would definitely take it, and play some Barbie time with Nami. We are going to the beginning of an important arc, and the introduction of a child character is a norm now.
Nami also has a sword suggesting it is a giant who captured her and wanted her to have a weapon. It can also mean she has to prepare for a duel in which case the mystery person might be a woman (or a shady guy). It makes sense that it is Loki since Nami has connection with Lola though I don't know how Loki would know about it. A girl is a possibility, she may be large and strong enough to kidnap the straw hats but what about the Sunny? Maybe thr person has a devil fruit and the Sunny is still where it is.
@@muhammadfaisal5Y5 I don't think it's Loki just, especially that if he is the prince it will be harder for him to snuck into the ship and never show himself. My guess is a gient child girl who wants some adventure. I feel Nami got the weapon because every person on Elbaf is a warrior, so it does make sense if a child did give her a weapon emitating what they see. We all played with small toy swords with our Lego / plastic toys, and Sunny will look like a nice toy for a gient kid as well.
Nami’s known high alcohol tolerance is probably why they specifically drank absinthe. If Nami had got wasted and disappeared on just normal beer, people would be up in arms. But potent stuff like absinthe is a good way to explain it
Jolly Rogers having haki imbued in them sounds like an awesome concept for a show to represent power in another anime. Imbuing their flags with power, then just the insignia will have power. To the god like level where just drawing the insignia causes their influential power to seep into it. And the final beyond where those whose desires and will align with you, will instinctively be able to draw your insignia to not only absorb that power but also influence your soul to shape and make the same. Like Soul Eater where the more powerful you are, the more you can affect those around you and the further that effect can spread.
After looking again at that final panel with Nami and a voice talking to her, I've been wondering if that voice comes from the Lego barrel next to her. Maybe one of the other crew members was captured inside the barrel in a state where they can't free themselves with brute force. Or maybe these Legos are a DF power and are as hard as Cracker's biscuits.
The splitting up of the crew allowing for exploration of character dynamics has always been my favorite part of the series, especially since the timeskip. I just wish it created more opportunities for situations like Usopp and Chopper vs Ms Merry Christmas and Mr 4, or Robin and Franky vs Tararan. Team up fights are where this series really shines and it's tragically underutilized, in my opinion!
Wild theory i thought of the other day. Probably has some plot holes but here... The original Imu had the op op fruit. First, used it to switch bodies with Lily for whatever reason. Then, it used it to gain immortality, not knowing the consequences and basically killing themselves. People today know that the user of the op op fruit dies when using that technique because of Imu's sacrifice. Imu today is Lily in Imu's body. To gain revenge, they got someone to perform the immortality ability on them so that one day, a princess with the exact likeness of Lily would be born. Imu (Lily) ate an ancient DF we have not seen the likes of before. Literally giving them demonic like powers with abilities to grant their worshippers demonic transformations and extended life. Tying in Brooks time during the 2 year time skip, there was a tribe of satan worshippers who could easily have knowledge passed down through generations about a powerful being who granted demonic powers to their worshippers
@@skorskee i think it doesnt work that way. It was never said that the body swap was a permanent thing the op op could do. Also if the original imu has died then the effect of the bodyswap wouldve ended. We only know 1 devilfruit that doesnt redue its effect, after the user dies (or gets his power stopped working by something like seaprismstone or stuff) and that is boas fruit when she turns people to stone. Then only boa herself can revert this but the victims stay that way even after she dies and even if someone else got the powers after. But for all other fruits it was stated, that their effects atleast end after the user dies (maybe boas fruit isnt the only one, i think something like shinobus fruit could work the same or the immortality given by the op op, but not the body swap). But thats something that could change in the future so who knows. But one thing that you maybe misunderstood is the village brook arrived on for his timeskip. It wasnt a satanic village and they dont have knowledge of satanic powers. They were just a poor country that got bullied by the long-arm-tribe and were to weak to fight back, so they tried many different things to stop the raids. In a desperate attempt they tried to summon satan (but that wasnt professionell or anything, it was kinda crappy and bad. So it was used as an joke because out of all strawhats brook wouldve fitted the best for a funny clip like that. But they dont have history doing this or some hidden ways or secret technics, they are just some weak goofballs try to get help
Not to downplay your creativity but thats the main core theory that Alpha2late17 did back when Imu was first introduced. Nothing new, it's Mummy2 plot exchanging your deceased loved one with a new body, reincarnation etc.

That’s the key word here, “us” not “me”. I don’t get why they thought Bartolomeo was left behind. Also it just occurred to me there that no matter how strong Zoro gets he can never defeat enemy that’s been haunting him since the very beginning of One Piece, his lack of directions.
Talking about Nami and her alcohol tolerance. We saw this all way way back during the Alabasta Arc at Whiskey Peak. Nami participates in a drinking contest and wins then pretends to pass out only to be actually completely fine and not even drunk.

Man you just made me think of the entire crew going to the coliseum on dressrosa and learning about the Mera Mera no mi and deciding to enter multiple members into the tournament for a higher chance of winning it and possibly having Zoro and Sanji in one block where it comes down to them selfishly fighting against each other to see who gets to move on and possibly Chopper and Franky being in another block where they get taken out by Burgess.
For me the crew splitting up issue is more that it has become a case of some random situation happens and forces a crew split at the start of what feels like every arc. If the crew were choosing to split up to explore different things I would way prefer that as at least they have some agency. Whereas it just feels like a convenient and kind of lazy plot device that Oda keeps coming back to every arc at the moment
Pretty sure they chose to split up in Dressrosa, and in Sabaody when they first arrived to go to the theme park and other parts, and they split up in Water 7 to get repairs/food. So it's not every arc they are forced to split up it happens by choice... But it does have to happen for storytelling purposes and to allow the groups to have weaknesses the full crew kind of compensates for. This is likely one of the last times Oda can split them up like this, it's near the end if you hadn't heard.
@ChaseDDream they literally only split up 4 times before in a >20.000 pages story and people get delusional and call it an issue 😂 1st split in water 7 2nd in skypea 3rd in sabaody 4th for the wano arc
@@gerhino7892 to me it's just a way to explore many aspects of an arc and the locations history through the different groups. Plus it creates different group dynamics that can be entertaining. They split up by force in Thriller Bark, and in Little Garden they went exploring by choice I think?
Don't think hypnotism like a super power. Laffite is very sneaky, persuasive person. He can make good arguments with excellent rhetoric. Just like a showrunner he can direct their perception to make BB warlord. His hypnotism power aligns with his character. Haki is also is not only a power that flashing lightning around. Haki is depended on persons will, mind and focus. Those can clash with an hostile mind trick. We saw that from media lots of times, a hypnotised person gained his will just by memories or willpower. Hypnotism mostly depend on altering perception, playing memories or inserting harmful logic structures to brain just like hacking computers.
That gear 5 face with the red eyes is so crazy. That the anime put that in there and made it an icon is pretty astounding, even if it makes no sense aside from being manic.
remember when Roger told shanks something as a kid that made him cry ?What if what Roger was telling him was that he knew that shanks poisoned him and that he forgave him and that’s why shanks was crying. Kinda of like sqard of the white beard pirates
I think the point you touched on at the end is really important to remember. I can understand why people are upset that the crew has been split up, after Dressrosa and whole cake, but I do think people need to remember that the crew splitting up is only really an issue when the crew goes to completely different islands and are gone for an arc. They aren't so much "Split up" right now as they are in different rooms from each other lol. Like yeah, they aren't actively talking to each other right now, but the whole crew is still close to each other and will probably change up members regularly. Like one Egghead, one minuet it was Jinbe Luffy and Chopper, then it was Luffy and Zoro with the rest split up, then it was Luffy by himself with Sanji and Franky pairing up. Like they where never really separated, they just went off in groups to accomplish things quicker. And like whats the point in having such a big, strong crew if your not gonna make use of how much stuff you all can do at once!
I just found out. Blackbeards devil fruit does the exact same thing as Caribou. Meaning he can store an endless amount of stuff in his body. What if blackbeard is just straight up storing the part of whitebeards body that held the devil fruit power.
when someone dies the fruits powers are transferred to a new fruit, so its unlikely the corpses keep remnants of the fruits powers. When logia types are killed, im pretty sure they should also lose their untangible qualities from their body, for example. If luffy died, he should stop being rubbery as well for example. So i domt think WBs body has the power to create tremors in the sky after he died.
The most likely thing is that blackbeard has a secret regarding his body/soul that lets him steal power from corpses and hold many powers inside him (presumably 3). The other theory would be that he and his crew carry fruits in their clothes so that when they kill a fruit user, the power is transferred to the fruits they carry.
Shanks was waiting for blackbeard but blackbeard went to a different island that was why shanks was hanging around elbaf one of the three islands but shanks got kidd , blackbeard got law and world govt tried getting Luffy but failed making Imu kill saturn.
For what I understood, the destruction of the Bartho club happened 1 month ago, just a little later as when Bartho burn the Shank's flag. I could be wrong, of course, but I don't saw anything going against that, and it fit the general timeline of event.
Hypnotising the warlords was probably the first thing he did when he entered the room, making so they wouldn't know he was there until he talked (which is why Mihawk was even surprised to see him sneak in through the window) and agree to the blackbeard proposal he made to them so that it seemed more natural for then to do so, because the way I see it the events played out like this: He walks into the room He hypnotized everyone to make them forget he was there until he talked and proposed blackbeard as a warlord He went over to the window and than waited a bit before proposing blackbeard as a warlord to them
now that i think abt it blackbeard having garp exucuted soon within the current story of one piece could set up a potential and temporial ally between the strawhats and marines, like the god valley incedent where roger and garp had to team up temporaily, though i think this may have a extremly low chance of happening due to some circumstances as Sakazuki/Akainu is the current fleet admaral, making it difficult for him and Luffy to ally since Sakazuki/Akainu hates pirates and Luffy still personally hates Sakazuki/Akainu after he killed Ace in the Marineford Arc.
I'll like to propose the "Interview arc" theory Vivi and Morgan have spent several chapters arguing about Luffy's intentions on Egghead, and with the recent news about the world sinking they decided to stop waiting and go ask them themselves Wapol doesn't want to make trouble for Morgan since he's hiding him so he'll follow him for the time being Here's where the pillars for this theory appear Nami being called by her name may not be that big of a deal, until you remember how little is the number of people who refer to her like that instead of "cat burglar" or "navigator". So what if the one calling her so gently was Vivi, it would make sense for the one with the closest relationship with a strawhat (in Morgan's crew) to approach her Wapol serving Morgan would make sense as it would explain the clothing Nami is wearing (black clothes with big puffy things like what Wapol and his wife used to wear) as well as the bizarre room she woke up is, it isn't just a lego room, is a toy room made with Wapol's powers to create a warm-ish welcome. Again, even if Wapol normally wouldn't do this sort of things, he owns Morgan, and he wants his guests comfy and calmed for the interview And lastly, if you look at the final pages of the chapter, you'll see that everyone who stayed with the giants joined the strawhats crew AFTER Alabasta. It would make sense in this context for Vivi to want to interrogate the strawhats she actually knows And when it comes to functionality for the story, I'm imagining this would be a Reverie-esk arc where it ain't too long and it is instead meant to clear things up and bring information before the meaty chapters
We also might just have found ourselves in the dumbest moment of the fandom where so many are pointing their finger at Loki forgetting that he is Elbafian, and those are deeply faithful to their religion where Nika is a major deity. Why would anyone from such a culture even think it's not straight up blasphemy to kidnap a nakama of said deity?? THINK PEOPLE, THINK.
Blackbeard can also use Hypnosis to learn everything that Garp knows. Like the location of God Valley. BB is quite the schemer. He is collecting the pieces for his plan without drawing too much attention or response.
Agreed - aside of his actions during the War, where he was literally begging for reaction shots in front of the Marines, the Whitebeard Pirates, their allies and an admittedly unnoticed video Den Den Mushi of which I don't remember if it aired the display of his newly attained power. More than just a single someone would've survived the War anyway to give him attention, and considering his local audience that would probably be too much quite fast.
on the note of the split up thing... Like yea I hear what you're sayin' and I agree that the split ups are essential however I feel like a LOT of them leave some characters just out to dry. It's really rare to see Franky, Robin, Jinbei, and Brook get MEANINGFUL moments since their onboarding arcs and Nami and Usopp just get done dirty most of the time... basically playing the roles of heroin and fool respectively... which neither deserve as a CONSTANT theme... They're forever typecast to be crappy roles now even though they've both BEEN BETTER in previous arcs... Nami isn't as bad she does get to fight but like... her skill is navigator but often gets lost or kidnapped, escapes somehow, THEN lost... it's humiliating after she's had moments of basically super human navigational ability not just sailing skill..(talking about a sense of direction and mapping that ARE applicable on land). Then there's Usopp, who is just crapped on constantly for no reason at this point, I've said it once I'll say it again... He's not been relevant in any meaningful way since Dressrosa arc... 300 episodes in anime terms since God Usopp shined.... didn't do much in Zou... Wasn't even in whole cake cause of the split up to rescue Sanji... and did so STAGGERINGLY little work even as recon in Wano it's a tragedy... Him just being a punching bag and laughing stock is just idk... I don't mind him being light hearted and more goofy than the others most of the time but WHY can't he also be competent at SOMETHING... He's supposed to be the "SNIPER" let him SNIPE SOMEBODY who matters again like with Sugar, that was a GOLDEN moment he hasn't gotten in actual years... that's so sad.. As for the others idk Jinbei is strong but under-utilized, Robin is AWESOME just happens to offscreen most of her feats which is just criminal I mean... she's gorgeous for starters but also one of the only REEEALLY smart members of the crew of meatballs... Franky... well I see why they don't use him much as he's a bit of an acquired taste and he's ALWAYS over the top and that can be hard to maintain the energy. Brook has a similar issue... his gimmicky nature makes it so most scenes with him are pretty similar, he makes a bone joke or panties joke or he gets a badass takedown with a slow sheathing strike... THAT's his whole personality since Thriller bark where he got to have actual dialogue and emotions. He VERY RARELY get's to not be just "the pervy skeleton music man" character and be Brook the musical swordsman/gentleman...I feel like this is more of a problem across MOST characters at this point that they have to have their little "catch phrase" moments where they slip into a 'default' personality quirk for most of a scene while 2-3 characters actually drive the plot forward with TRUE personalities and dialogue at any given moment. Sometimes more but rare to see more than 5 non "robot" characters in any scene. Even Luffy has been the "says something but doesn't actually add to the scene" character MANY times for reasons I'll never understand. Just cause a character is present doesn't mean they have to just babble to make themselves heard or their presence known... Some of it is tension breakers sure but it happens WAY too much if you start to notice it you'll see it get repetitive fast..
Splitting up is the most economical the characters can explore more off the setting and shine more individually without stepping on one another plus when they do get back together it adds hype
youbring up a great point with the parrallel between the god valley incident and roger ending up with a child on the crew, and im wondering if we just witnessed this generations "GOD VALLEY" equivalent. and if we did, we should look more into the actual impact and impications of the events of egghead and how they could parralel god valely, maybe theres something there that were not connecting
I believe that one thing everyone forgot about Egghead is “Big News Robbin” found in chapter 1060. Robin withheld news from Luffy as per his wishes. There could have been another Impel Down break out and we don’t know about it.
hypnotizing is such an interesting, but also potentially world breaking plot point... who can be hypnotized, who can't, can it be regulated, for how long are they hypnotized, can something break it prematurely... is hypnotized 'mind control'... Jango being the other you would auto think of, so, how are they different, where do Jango's 'powers' come from, an how are they different...
I mean seriously who believed that Garp could have died. Not for lack power to so(ex Admiral and half a crew who had already killed a dying Newgate). But the plot of the time. We had been introduced to Cross Guild Marine hunt. You thing the same guys who where bargaining for a Warship would waste a 3B prisoner. This is how Mihawk vs Zoro happens on proper non deathmatch terms. Blackbeards sells him to Buggy and Luffy will go collect after Elbaf. Teach will get his Godvalley memories first.
Technically, the Fishman Island arc starts off with everyone reuniting and descending into the ocean. They have a small separation when the monster trio take on the kraken. They temporarily reunite before being separated again when they try to escape Hordy's crew.. so for several episodes, they are together in the beginning
11:00 it may very well be the case that this is a parallel to thriller bark, the arc before sabaody that we just paralleled. We're going backwards through the arcs.

Shanks was waiting for blackbeard but blackbeard went to a different island that was why shanks was hanging around elbaf one of the three islands but shanks got kidd , blackbeard got law and world govt tried getting Luffy but failed making Imu kill saturn.
The Blackbeard pirates are by far the most competent pirate crew. Always a step ahead and accomplishing multiple objectives at once.
To be fair Shanks crew has the most balanced bounties in terms of amount & we know nothing about the Red Hair Pirates besides the little info we do know about Shanks and how Yassop is Ussops
father.

The gorosei were like us with Dragon rn😂
also couple years earlier ace was offered a position as one of seven but he rejected this offer and then defeated another warlord.

@@jonathanakujobi3255word
Doubt they actually saved barto, they only destroyed the ship but they could still be alive
as if exploding a ship isnt going for a kill

The Barto vs Shanks happened a month ago from today in universe.
I.e., around the time of reverie and King Cobra's death.
some how read this in Liam's voice
Straw Hats at sea with Lillith was the same day they fled Egghead due to the Marines and Elders arrival, the 2nd day. We just got a 2 day travel "time skip" but it was 1 night in Egghead(remember the York mystery killer night?). Maybe we should ask if Kid was taken down the day before Luffy reached Egghead, because it took Dorry and Broggy 2 days to get home and they were with Shanks on Elbaf when Kid fell. So they should have been on Elbaf with Shanks 2 days ago, aka the day before Luffy got to Egghead and saved Bonnie from the Warm Eddy
Also this "over a month ago" Barto flashback had to have happened after Kaido fell on Wano when Shanks said he'd go after Barto while sailing up to the island, which was after the Reverie too.(this is bugging me but it's what happened, and it wasn't just a comment to throw off some 3rd party on his ship just his crew is around when he sees Luffys 3 billion bounty a week after Kaido fell. I was hoping for a reason there... but none.)
So Shanks took Marco home and took care of Barto, and still beat Kid to Elbaf with enough time to catch up with Dorry and Broggy who shouldn't really know each other since they've been fighting on Little Garden.
3 days?
Isn't that how long it takes to make a potato salad?
Its the same day as the other guy pointed out. As a matter of fact, they sleep after leaving with Lilith and that is Post Arc staring.
Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbe as a group was a clever decision on oda’s part.
When it comes to the original six, they tend to take the sidelines. Not to mentioned Robin and Franky already has an existing dynamic
Robin has also been placed with brook a number of times in Wano and briefly with Jinbe.
This is also Jinbe’s time to form proper dynamics with someone who isn’t Luffy, Nami and Sanji
I love the thought of Moria joining Cross Guild. Almost compensates my former hopes of seeing Moria on Wano.
There is still a part of me that thinks Moria goes to Wano from Fullalead Island, in particular because of how strong the corpses and samurai shadows are there.
Perona being that silhouette running from Yamato recently could easily be a thing, but I am not holding my breath.
@@ChaseDDream samurei are as overrated as whitebeards commanders they were all weak asf and the so known 7 strongest were weak too 0 impact whole arc (expect for emotional impact)

I'm happy you have your opinion, but it doesn't discount my random idea. Just throwing around thoughts and seeing if anyone else sparks an idea.
@@ChaseDDream Did you really call momo a strong fighter? lol
15:53 Love how Zoro starts walking away 😂
I think it’s funnier to imagine Loki as an otaku or nerd or dork like person, as opposed to a child, like he’s got legos, tons of model kits, reads comic books etc… and that’s why he’s so controversial in giant society, he doesn’t fit in with the warrior macho mindset of giant culture, he avoids exercise and combat at all costs or something, and maybe he’ll only find his strength and reason to fight when something or someone he values or cares about is threatened
Edit: this could also be how he could relate with ussop, ussop being a weak coward at heart but overcoming his flaws and weaknesses to defend his friends/crew and that in turn inspiring Loki to act as well and also could be ussops crowning “great warrior of the sea” moment we’ve all been waiting for IE inspiring someone just like him to overcome and throw aside their weaknesses and flaws to defend and protect what’s right

@hbpuppet Barto would have to be after wano because in wano Shanks mentions that he has to go deal with the Barto situation when they leave
My prediction for chapter 1127:
If the upcoming chapter takes place where the previous one left off, then we should get a brief flashback on what really happened to the Nami & the other SH who were split up from everyone, which will lead to them being in the same situation as Nami is, as well revealing wearing Elbaf outfits themselves.
I can't help but feel with a break week about to happen, the end of this chapter is gonna have a cliffhanger or major reveal.
@@ChaseDDream I'm hoping the cliffhanger will simply be loki finally being revealed.
I also want to see Bonney turn the last elder beard, 350+ years old, into his prime 170 year old self to do some massive attack...😍

I wouldn’t try to save Garp if I were Luffy tbh. Garp didn’t try to save Ace, what obligation does Luffy have to Garp? Just let fate decide

I really love how you present your video the chibi drawings are so entertaining ❤
15:52 Naw, you making Zoro randomly wandering off was foul Lol
2:34 Apologies but my brain just thought of a connection that might also play into Moria joining Buggy.
So Buggy is a man with two men ‘under him’ (as the world believes) that have fought a yonko. Crocodile who has fought Whitebeard previously and Mihawk who has fought Shanks previously. Moria has fought Kaido before as well, which would mean that Buggy would have three individuals who have each individually clashed with different yonkos on his crew (as well as each of them were part of that regular group of Yonkos we were introduced to, only exception being Big Mom)
With the only exception being Big Mom.
“Crewmate/Adopted Son of Roger claims four Yonko combatants as his entourage”
This would also mean that Buggy would have four previous Warlords on his crew as well.
2:23 Absalom suddenly appearing there as the last thriller bark pirate is so funny considering what already happened to him lmao
Can’t believe I never put this together… what if the one piece is Joy Boys Jolly Roger? The first ever pirate flag…
Do you mean like the whole logo or just the O.
Nami’s known high alcohol tolerance is probably why they specifically drank absinthe. If Nami had got wasted and disappeared on just normal beer, people would be up in arms. But potent stuff like absinthe is a good way to explain it
i feel like no one has mentioned that Luffy doesn't drink, unless that's a thing he only says in the anime.
Well he did drink when he was a child during the brother oath
It's Caribou in that barrel, I guarantee it.

If Imu switched bodies with Lily and she had a devil fruit, Imu would get Lily’s devil fruit being in her body.

Ya'll make some solid points! And I thank you. I was just having some fun with it, as you see
There is also the fact that during that warlord replacement meeting he spun his cane around witch could be a way of hypnotism.
Nami participates in a drinking contest and wins then pretends to pass out only to be actually completely fine and not even drunk.
brook is on the giants ship he said "where is the sunny"
I'm just keeping a lookout for a "Pippi Longstocking" reference somewhere in giant land, like, either a giant version of her or a normal sized reference to her hanging around.
Can't wait for the One Piece version of Mr Nilson xD

so true about the splitting up. it also makes it way more hype if you see them fight together as a full crew
If haki can be stored in objects is there a very strong haki stored in the staw hat?
10:34 The random Gundam in the back made me do a double take.
It’s crazy that Bonney could easily be a strawhat, she said even has a dream to see the world which could be fulfilled on the sunny
I would love her to join, but I think I’m one of the very few people that are still salty that Yamato didn’t join
@@maudlinfaust I am hoping Yamato's cover story ends with leaving wano.
Franky wanted to travel around the entire world, and Nami wanted to navigate the entire world
considering how roger had shanks and buggy as apprentices ..it is possible luffy takes bonney as apprentice , it would make kuma really happy
The events with Shanks and Bartolomeo took place a month before present day.
everytime i ask myself immediately after clicking... why do i fall for the clickbait every time when i know it is clickbait
14:45 it's like Scooby-Doo doo....let's split up gang, every episode
Y'all ain't ready for Goatbeard stocks to start skyrocketing in later chapters 🗣🗣🗣
Goatbeard the secret MC 👑
I have a feeling he is smoking a certain red haired pack soon.
people are not ready for him, they think he is weaker than kaido but he is still in the run for the one piece. blackbeard is not playing with open cards, he tricks his opponents out with patients and careful planning. almost in the background is he climbing up the ladder and faster than anyone. he is not to be underestimated.
Sengoku?

Ot would still be the same if they chose to split every time.
@ChaseDDream they literally only split up 4 times before in a >20.000 pages story and people get delusional and call it an issue 😂
1st split in water 7
2nd in skypea
3rd in sabaody
4th for the wano arc
@@gerhino7892 to me it's just a way to explore many aspects of an arc and the locations history through the different groups. Plus it creates different group dynamics that can be entertaining.
They split up by force in Thriller Bark, and in Little Garden they went exploring by choice I think?
Love that Seadramon in the background of the Egghead Island scene. If anyone could have created Digital Monsters then it'd be Vegapunk.
0:52 Hypnotism shouldn't have worked on Sengoku, Tsuru and the Seven Warlords as they have Haki respectively.
well let’s be honest here, it could’ve been something close to a clash of sorts? Or maybe haki wouldn’t apply to something like hypnosis?
He hypnotised the foot soldiers,he can’t hypnotise the stronger characters
If the hypnotism isn’t devil fruit related then haki won’t stop it
@@omnidaddy2221 so he can hypno Luffy as well?
Bonnie is the new crew pet. She'll hang out with Chopper.
Shanks was waiting for blackbeard but blackbeard went to a different island that was why shanks was hanging around elbaf one of the three islands but shanks got kidd , blackbeard got law and world govt tried getting Luffy but failed making Imu kill saturn.
Nice explanation on why oda do the splitting of crew at start of arc,, so simple yet nice
barto had a really powerful fruit tbh, he just wasn't creative enough with it
The Strawhats are about to start Oda’s very own version of “The Hangover”, courtesy of the Green Fairy. (and Loki)
17:13 a remember that Robin is into CBT
15:03 what Saturn wished would've happened
My headcanon is that Bartolomeo survived getting nuked by Yassop, by using his barrier fruit to form an ocean-proof hamster ball
super excited for new outfits. Cannot wait to see viking brook.
Aaaaaaaaah the cutest Vivi face yet made it back, my poor heart.
15:56 peak Zoro wandering off.
Bonney is so precious. I'm going to be sad when they venture without her. Also, Jinbe is the best I'm so glad he's a strawhat.
For what I understood, the destruction of the Bartho club happened 1 month ago, just a little later as when Bartho burn the Shank's flag. I could be wrong, of course, but I don't saw anything going against that, and it fit the general timeline of event.
Hypnotising the warlords was probably the first thing he did when he entered the room, making so they wouldn't know he was there until he talked (which is why Mihawk was even surprised to see him sneak in through the window) and agree to the blackbeard proposal he made to them so that it seemed more natural for then to do so, because the way I see it the events played out like this:
He walks into the room
He hypnotized everyone to make them forget he was there until he talked and proposed blackbeard as a warlord
He went over to the window and than waited a bit before proposing blackbeard as a warlord to them
now that i think abt it blackbeard having garp exucuted soon within the current story of one piece could set up a potential and temporial ally between the strawhats and marines, like the god valley incedent where roger and garp had to team up temporaily, though i think this may have a extremly low chance of happening due to some circumstances as Sakazuki/Akainu is the current fleet admaral, making it difficult for him and Luffy to ally since Sakazuki/Akainu hates pirates and Luffy still personally hates Sakazuki/Akainu after he killed Ace in the Marineford Arc.
Is there a paring/ grouping of characters on the crew that we have not seen yet can you do a video on that and which Paris would/ work better or worse
I'll like to propose the "Interview arc" theory
Vivi and Morgan have spent several chapters arguing about Luffy's intentions on Egghead, and with the recent news about the world sinking they decided to stop waiting and go ask them themselves
Wapol doesn't want to make trouble for Morgan since he's hiding him so he'll follow him for the time being
Here's where the pillars for this theory appear
Nami being called by her name may not be that big of a deal, until you remember how little is the number of people who refer to her like that instead of "cat burglar" or "navigator". So what if the one calling her so gently was Vivi, it would make sense for the one with the closest relationship with a strawhat (in Morgan's crew) to approach her
Wapol serving Morgan would make sense as it would explain the clothing Nami is wearing (black clothes with big puffy things like what Wapol and his wife used to wear) as well as the bizarre room she woke up is, it isn't just a lego room, is a toy room made with Wapol's powers to create a warm-ish welcome. Again, even if Wapol normally wouldn't do this sort of things, he owns Morgan, and he wants his guests comfy and calmed for the interview
And lastly, if you look at the final pages of the chapter, you'll see that everyone who stayed with the giants joined the strawhats crew AFTER Alabasta. It would make sense in this context for Vivi to want to interrogate the strawhats she actually knows
And when it comes to functionality for the story, I'm imagining this would be a Reverie-esk arc where it ain't too long and it is instead meant to clear things up and bring information before the meaty chapters
Shanks should have told Barto... mate... luffy and i are friends wtf are you doing dummy...
Very well-put take on why the crew splitting up is generally better for the narrative.
Very well enjoyed watching and listening to this A+ video!
I can't help thinking Leffitte is partly in Red Port to see if the Man Marked by Flames an alleged government employee according to Shiryu swings by.
Bart drinking the "poison" made me love him when I was on the fence before. Bart is ride or die and that's bad ass.
