This may not be the end of his dream but from what he said that’s his dream for now.

Perhaps being a nation recognised by the WG makes doing certain things much easier. An actual King is unlikely to be chased around the world by the WG, he can move around the Grand Line without having to worry about Seraphim or Admirals plus he'd have leverage to use the WGs resources to help him in his ends, whatever they are. His vision of the new era is unique. He is willing to try and cooperate with anyone, even if their ultimate goals are ultimately incompatible, so long as their roads align temporarily.

blackbeard being a dream eater when he's the guy who doesn't sleep is narratively fitting and poetic. taking in so many devil fruits would be the perfect way for him to lose, and an inverse to nightmare luffy (luffy took in the shadows, bb's shadow takes in everyone's light)
and what fits so perfectly with this is that i've always thought that BB's end would be in drowning, dying in the deep darkness of the sea. having multiple devil fruit powers would mean he'd become so powerless in the sea, and his darkness fruit would amplify the pain, which i think would be a perfect and fitting end for BB

Blackbeards teeth supports your theory of him taking attacks. We know milk restores bones and fixed teeth in OP. He’s constantly in fights getting them knocked out, and repairing with milk.
A minor detail but at 3.55 since we sleep for 1/3 of the day , or at least we should be , then blackbeard would have the experience of roughly an 52 year old , or less because most people dont sleep 8 hours or more , not a 78 old . Great video and very interesting ideas thrown though

I've always said that whenevr we find out what Luffy's dream is, the Jaya quote will definitely come back around and hit us like a truck, or rather a Gura fist to the face, and just like how blackbeard took it to understand the power before stealing it, we will have to taoe the whiplash of forshadowing before truly understanding what Oda is cooking. Whether it be though Dream Eating or though some Punk Records Joyboy Memory madness, that line has a more literal element to it which is why I sense a "I am the future flash" esque moment on the way soon.
I think the perfect final battle would be Luffy vs Blackbeard on Laugh Tale. Luffy using the imagination aspect of his power to emulate the abilities and techniques of all the allies and foes he's fought against/alongside, symbolizing his entire journey and the ambitions and dreams of everyone he's met on the way. While Teach absorbs his crew into his darkness physically absorbing their ambitions and powers into himself, the product of his hard work and scheming finally coming into throughition. One who nurtures ambition and the other who cultivates it.
Personally black beaded absorbing his crew would be pretty bad I like when the whole crew gets there own individual fights with all unique personalities and powers

Also...no matter the person...people with strong desires share the same ferocious will. A great example of this was when Luffy was in battle with Monet and she wrapped him in that snow globe. He was almost done until he rips out of it through his will with a ferocious look on his face. A second later he was back to being goofy, but I always remembered that face hiding beneath the goofiness. No matter the personality...this is what you are dealing with when you get in the way of someone with that kind of will and determination.

Radio waves are a form of Electro magnetic radiation; a really interesting property of EMR is the relationship with light and heat. If the Yami yami no mi is the a antithesis of the sun god fruit you’d expect one of its properties to be cold as opposed to warmth. When EMR is cooled down the wave lengths get larger, increasing the distance between apex of each wave. Essentially what I’m getting at is what if the radio waves are able to be cooled to the point where they become visible to the human eye. As you may know light and color is also EMR, just lower on the wavelength spectrum- to the point where you can actually see the EMR. This might be part of how BB is able to access the memories and souls of devil fruit users.

I'm not exactly a theory person but all this talk about dreams has me thinking about the will of d. Like maybe there's multiple wills of d. Black beards being the will of dreams because of his desire yo dream or maybe desire. Luffy being the will of dawn because he brings a new dawn to every place he saves. There's plenty of ways you can go with it. Destiny, dread, death ect. Love the video man keep up the good work!
I want to point out that a handfull of the titanic captains also have abilities that can tie into said darkness. The most obvious one is shiryu and his Invisibility. Invisibility is basically being untouched by light. Kuzan's ice ties into entropy. The reduction of heat slowly makes matter stop. These are the easiest. The glug glug and sick sick fruits each have powers that have made huge impacts on our world in even the darkest of times

When shanks and buggy said that he did not sleep for 2 days, it might be the fact that one person sleeps at night and other person sleeps in the morning!!! Creating an illusion that he did not sleep!! That also explains why they put a black cloth on White beard when they took his powers. It created darkness as in night so the other person can come out and take his powers!!!!!!

Yeah I think I referenced that in the vid, where I say that when he is always calculating what he can handle, and so in the boa moment he knew well in advanced that he cudnt afford a first hit. Which that in it of itself is kind of important that he would be that cautious to know he has to catch her off guard and make sure he doesn't let her get a single first hit in.

This will be why bb gave shiryu what many regard as an underwhelming fruit. The power of nothing and everything in one crew will serve as the ultimate test for luffy and zoro.

One thing that kinda pokes a hole in this theory is Moria still being alive on Hachinosu. But I think there's a good reason for that. One idea is that Moria's fruit being related to darkness makes it in some way immune to the darkness fruit.
Another idea, probably less likely, is that BB has to absorb the memories of someone before he can take their fruit, but Moria's memories were just too painful to absorb. Maybe mental trauma is absorbed through physical pain, and Moria's trauma was so bad that BB would have had to risk dying to absorb it.
Another idea, probably least likely, is that BB genuinely wants Moria on his side, and is keeping him the way Kaido kept Kid and Luffy. Maybe because Moria's personality is a perfect match for his devil fruit and has a high potential for awakening.
Another reason may be that BB knows Moria has some juicy info. The Gorosei don't order the assassination of just anyone after all. It may have to do with the Florian Triangle entities and the WG gigantification program. Moria spent a long time in the Florian Triangle and might have some first hand knowledge pertaining to what those entities actually are.

I think Blackbeard also has a hidden fruit, named the Cerberus Fruit, Cerberus is known as the "gatekeeper" of the underworld. So I think it makes sense that given the underworld aspect you explain the darkness powers we see Blackbeard use, and maybe a side effect of the fruit gives you gravity powers to pull items close to you. Also if he is a gatekeeper of the underworld, then it could mean that his fruit allows him to trap the soul of someone within him, and that's how BlackBeard was able to obtain Whitebeards power. Also I know that people say it's the Kraken, but I think one of the Gorosei has that, since there was a octopus-like silhouette
on my first reread of one piece i noticed that during blackbeard and aces fight, blackbeard says that what happened to thatch was an accident. i freaked out thinking immediately to the wills of devil fruits and depending on the translation he could mean that the yami yami was testing him, making him choose between the fruit or his crewmate and brother in arms which as we know was an easy decision for teach. im thinking it might have made thatch hostile or began physically torturing thatch, threatening to turn back into a normal fruit unless someone worthy ate it. #moongodsanka

Hmm, I’m not sure how this fits but personally I think the will of D where the D=Dreams. Dreams are a big part of one piece and I think this fits nicely with many theories and even the devil fruits, and the checkered fate. They are natural enemies of the world government because the WG supresses and tries to control dreams.

Idk man. Im pretty sure Blackbeard is named Teach because the real life blackbeard is named Teach. Auger showed observation haki way before bb, when he shot down the seagulls at Jaya. If anything it seems like Auger should be teaching BB.
Yeah that's the part of puns that oda plays heavily with. And if youre further into egghead then you can Def see how heavily he plays with word play. Like irl blsckbeard was Edward teach aka thatch. And if that's the case then thatch and Edward who BB killed are Blackbeards names. And blackbeard only went by blackbeard after betraying the WB pirates. So there may be a deeper meaning to the name esp since originally oda was going to tie him to an even greater pirate like Henry Avery. So the meanings could be multifaceted. And on the haki part, BB had haki in Jaya too. That's how he knew luffy was so weak and that's what he referenced in impel down.
And also the thing I was saying bb teaching auger about was more about the devil fruits. Not the haki. Which seems like auger wants/needs as per his last conversation

In the final fight vs imu well see luffy becaming a sun in the sky.
Imu is gona block the sun, and when everything seems lost,luffy goes literaly super saiyan. We saw luffy shadow in the cloulds after enel and in front of the moon after kaido. But this time he wont be a shadow but light. (Just 2 exemples,there are many others) it would be awesome if the god knights and the gorosei just kneened/bowed to luffy after that.

I think one has to undergo synchro resonance ( as in being synchronized and achieve resonance) to awaken one's devil fruit. Luffy only awakened because he died not because he achieved something. Luffy is a mortal and he is living in an extremely oppressed world. To live in that world means trading pain for freedom. Ideal freedom isn't like that. So the moment luffy died his soul gained a taste of true ideal freedom. But his devil fruit is zoan and has a will so it makes it so that the soul of luffy reenter his body and luffy's shackles like realistic notions on freedom evaporate from his body in white stuff when he starts to become nika. Luffy has to become a God not a mortal to awaken and this awakening of him came through because he finally shed hos mortal inhibitions and became a God. He states he can do "anything" he wants but one should note what a human wants to do are whims and in those whims are actions one avoids because they either cause pain or death. Luffy used observation haki to try and avoid kaido's raime bagua. But when he is nika he just takes it by making it as kaido is kneading dough. Luffy dropped his inhibitions and became free, so free that his existence itself is a personification of an entity that doesn't have to worry about consequences. Luffy after becoming nika became free of consequences, hence he states he can do whatever he wants to do. Do remember that luffy is an idiot when it comes to normal things.
His normal actions are like actions of an infant unaware of dangers that lurk in everything. Luffy stating he can do all of his childish acts when he is in gear 5 means he shed his mortal inhibitions and becomes a god.
So i think all devil fruit awakenings happen cause of synchro resonance
(By resonance I mean using their fruit in a way that makes them the living embodiment of their fruit if they are zoan(this is why impel down zoan awakeners are dumb because they become an animal, except rob lucci because he synchronized with is fruit by becoming either a mink(cause one piece doesn't have demi humans or beast folk of fantasy) or a martial artist who uses the way of leapord to fight) . If logia they have to become one with their element(which means becoming the elements themselves or becoming the one piece equivalent of elemental spirits.). If paramecia then they have to understand the nature of their fruit to better manipulate their elements.All of these synchro resonances are probably experienced in the form of eureka moments or enlightenments.

it's not like forget. it seems to only be when he is touching so itd be like the body forgetting if that makes sense. and that could make more sense cuz theres ppl like brook who ate his fruit and had jo knowledge of what it did or how it worked until it passively took effect. so it's like he takes away the muscle memory if they makes sense. he can only take away the memories when the person dies it seems, but when they're alive its locked in.
