Watch this video next! 👊 ua-cam.com/video/RGs4Wyshtew/v-deo.html
Did not expect to find a video from you on this subject :) Was looking for an installation guide for these notches and got it, thanks man! One stop shop!
Haha. No problem man glad it helped
Have you ever found glow in the dark shafts and quills?
Hey Dave good video I like the tips on how to install them I just bought a couple for my crossbows and that was good shooting my friend can't wait to see that accurate shooting down here in Kentucky on a big one
Yeah Chris won’t be long now lol. Coming quick
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors yes it is and I can't wait to be a part of it when u get back to KY 👍👊
Do u happen to know what the overall arrow weight of those arrows are
I actually prefer Glory Nock over any of the others. No pulling, twisting, switches or any of that stuff. Simple and easy
Nice sounds good
I bought Lumenok Burt Coyote Lght Em Up Combo Pack that's Lumenok HD Orange Nocks-GTC Nocks fits .300 ID Shaft and that's what my Crossbow Arrows are.Ive tried 2 after I took 2 some ridges off so will go in.I bought them from eBay?
Hoq do you replace the battery on thses iluminox?
You shave the ridges off? I just use a little bow string wax to help it squeeze in
Yes. That’s why the ridges are there to shave off
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors how do they stay in tight then?
Mine are still tight as hell even shaved off. They aren’t there to shave completely off they are there to shave just enough to have a snug fit. It’s right in the directions
I shoot a 52lb draw weight with black eagle outlaws. The lighted nocks work great... but the tail of the arrow drops down (5°+) after 25yds and it throws off the accuracy. I go from a 2" spread to a 5"... any idea what's going on??
It’s probably some tuning issue. Mine are accurate all the way through. I’d start with getting the bow tuned at a good shop
I haven't shot it yet?
?
What poundage is your draw and total arrow weight?
I shoot 28 inch bow with the d loop it gives me 28 1/2. Bow is set at 65 pounds and arrow weight is about 410
Quick question, it looks like when your drawing the arrows the neck is not lit , but down range at the target there lit . I thought they had to be turned on before firing ?
No. They are shot activated. They turn on automatically after the shot
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors thanks , this is what i am thinking about as well
I have the same arrows. And just installed new lighted nocks on them .... now after shooting the arrow kinda twirls in the air and it's not sinking into the target as far... how do I fix them to make them shoot straight again.
After using lighted nocks they are heavier. It’s best to get the bow paper tuned after installing them and then sitting in the bow again
I've never paper tuned before .. what's my best approach on doing so?
Taking it to a bow shop and having it done professionally. That is the key starting point of getting a bow set up.
I really liked the idea of lumenoks. I bought some for my wife and they flew 3 inches left compared to her regular Nock's. Any ideas? We tried nock tuning and it made no difference in arrow flight.
Lighted nocks are heavier then standard. Sometimes you might have to just make a slight site adjustment.
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
I understand they're heavier but I've used other brands and only got vertical differences. I'm getting 3 inches left. That takes alot of sight adjustment for my wife's bow. I will say that nocturnals fly great out of her bow but I like lumenoks system better as far as turning on and off and they are brighter.
Yeah that’s weird. A lot of variables. I’ve never had a issue with any lighted nock other then slight adjustments.
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors Ok. Just thought you might have an idea. Thanks!
🤙🏽
Why do you cut them?
Adan Wilson I cut them to match my draw length
Thought that must have been why,I’m just starting out.... should I cut my arrows and how can I measure my draw length
Adan Wilson they make special arrows that are numbered when you draw back it will
Tell you. Best thing to do is go to a bow shop and they will measure it for you
You’ll get a more square cut on the end of the shaft by removing nock prior to cutting.
Also, tune your own bow. It’s not that hard. Tons of information how to do it on UA-cam.
