I like the fact that they are lighter. And that you dont need to push up on the switch with a tip or knife. Appreciate you bringing these to my attention. I currently shoot green Nocturnal GT'S. Might have to try a couple sets of these.
Love these nocks. They are from the small town of La Vernia TX. They also made the Glory nock. Been supporting their stuff for a few years now. Awesome that this product made it to your shop up in Washington. 🤘🏼
I’ve been hearing great things about Halo nocks. I’ve never been a fan of lighted nocks, until I saw the way these operate and turn off. I may have to try these out. Thanks for the vidja Josh Jones! GOD BLESS AMERICA! 🤘🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🤘🏼
Lighted nocks are the way to go. Absolutely amazing how easy it is to follow the path of the arrow in low light. I had my son in a tree last year, about 50 yards away, trying to get him his first archery deer, didn't quite work out that way because the deer didn't cooperate. He was so excited as he watched me draw back, he watched my arrow pass strait through the deer, he has witnessed these shots on TV, UA-cam, ext. but never live in person so he was blown away at the shot. The lighted nock made it so easy for him to see the perfect shot, arrow entered and exited, he saw it all from his tree. The one thing he did say is how surprised he was that the deer even made it 40 yards. I've shot 2 brands of lighted nocks and both brands have stayed lit for hours. Shot a deer on an evening hunt, wasn't quit sure of the shot, let the arrow sticking in the ground, climbed out of the tree, left the woods came back the next morning strait to the arrow still lit up like a beacon, on at least 10 hours, never lost any of it's brightness, walked 30 yards over the hill and recovered the deer. Love lighted nocks, game changers but don't just add them onto the back of your arrow and think that's it, you may be surprised when you shoot during practice, especially when your shooting at 60 to 90 yards, those extra grains on the back end add up to arrow dropping a lot at distance. We left a nockturnal on and it actually lasted for days, not saying this would happen every time but my wife wanted to see how long it would stay lit, days. I like how easy it is to turn off this new nock in your video. Will need to get some and give these a try for myself.
Love the Halo nock. I purchased 4 packs of these. There is one negative thing about these. They will turn off if you miss the target and the arrow gets banged around. They will also turn off if you don’t get a complete pass through on an animal and the arrow gets banged around in the brush.
Lusk tested the Deepower lighted nock and they did great. I bought some and love them. Always used Nockturnals but these are so easy to turn off, bright, well made and much less expensive.
I purchased a pack of the Deepower and all three wouldn't turn off. The tuned fine with no issues, but not being able to turn them off was a bummer. They refunded my money and said they were a bad batch. I ordered a set of the Halos for my 4mm arrows, so far so good. It's nice that they are at least 4-5 grains lighter than other lighted nocks that I have tested. But, only time will tell on their durability, especially due to the 4mm.
I had the last version of these called the Glory Nock. Did not hold up at all. They say these are improved and more reliable so they must have gotten the message about the old nocks. Great people to deal with though. I'm going to pick up a set.
Sounds cool. What I miss would be a flashing light mode. I tend to use the red/green flashing light nocks from nockturnal. They last almost twice as long as the single color ones cause they don’t use that much energy. Filming is not an issue with the flashing ones since they switch so fast, you will probably even see two colors in the flight on video.
One lighted knock I don’t know if you’ve seen is Fireknock. They are a pretty cool set up especially for a G knock size. Look into his titanium kite too for bows and what he has found when it comes to energy transfer when using titanium hardware. I think a conversation between you and the owner would be pretty awesome. The guy is a physicist.
I shot firenocks for years until I switched to a .204 arrow. I did some product testing for Dorge many years ago and got a supply of firenocks from it. They are a great option, and the fact that you can swap the circuit & battery for a weight for practice is awesome to still shoot the same nock in the off season and not have to put the wear and tear on the circuit board and battery.
Only things I found wrong with them is if installed them with too much glue then you can’t get a battery out and that arrow is done for unless you are very careful with a drill bit and don’t cut into the arrow. Also if you have a quiver full of them it can be noisy when you shoot. Otherwise I think they are probably the best lighted knock I have found and the brightest in green. Also the knock itself isn’t a contraption it’s just a knock that is the same size a a 4mm that makes no drag. Even smaller than a Easton G knock.
I also shot Firenock G size nock and I use Beiter Outnock over micro diameter Victory VXT arrows. This combo is about 25% brighter than original Firenock.
Okay I am kind of new to archery here in Wisconsin we have a outdoor small 3D place close to Milwaukee called Buck rub and they have a line of novks that they made themselves that have a deeper throat they go farther into the shaft and they don't seem to pop out as easy as some of the other ones do especially when you use larger arrows with the inserts. They are heavier too but they seem to be holding up well I bought three and I have been using actually my old nocks that were either broken or whatever just for the light put in the target like that but that is a neat concept especially in some of the free parks around here in Wisconsin that have hay bales as targets. Just an FYI I am not a hunter I have never hunted with them I just like shooting bows and watching the arrows fly.
Something i noticed when testing these was, depending on the specific mold number that specific nock came from, they would tune just a little bit differently. I found that there are 4 different molds (there may be more but thats what i had in my two dozen sampling) labelled "1", "2", "3", and "4" on the side of the shank that goes into the arrow shaft. For example, id shoot perfect bullet holes with all labelled "1" then get a slight high-right tear on all labelled "2" (the specific tears i just described are made up as i dont recall exactly how they tuned out but they were all different based off the number). I'd love for someone else to verify the tuning discrepancy. To remove any question, when i moved the nock to a different shaft, the tune followed it. I brought it up to the manufacturer and got radio silence.
Just ordered 3 packs, the serving fit is really good, not sloppy like the Nocturnals and not as bulky as the Glory nocks were, weigh 23 grs with GT collar .. (I'm using Catfish Vec 99 string/cables/Bowtech SR350)... however, the two I used for 'practice' refused to SHUT OFF after just 6 shots !! (2 of 3 in the pack/shot into a brand new bag target, the other one I havnt shot yet).. no biggie 'cause I always have 3-5 of 'em I let run down and use for practice and hunt with new ones, however the red switch wont shut the nock off after just 6 shots.. WTF !! ..... makes me wonder if they will f-up when removing from the string by hand after a hunt or after a passthru/kill .. flies great, but disappointed with the damn switch .. I'll use 'em this season cause of the fit and accuracy, but I hope they do something about the turning off, they are too expensive to have this crap happen .. I'm calling them Monday and let them know whats happening ... (Goldtip Velocity XT's are the arrows used) ..
I have found the Same thing with me and lighted nocks man, every micro I've used hasn't worked well or quits working right away I'm hoping these ones work well but I've also been using the 204's the rip extreme velocities for shooting 3d I don't know if I'm going to hunt with them but we'll see I still like my RipTKO too but I really like my that vap tkp so I might have found a really good hunting arrow with a lighted nock now thank u MFJJ as always you the man
Hey MFJJ, look into Archer’s Flame, they have a .204 lighted nock that weighs 10 grains. I just purchased 4 packs of 3 a few minutes before seeing this video. For me, if I put a 10gr lighted nock, it will afford we the ability to add your 15gr titanium bushing to the front paired with your titanium insert on the RIP XV, for a really solid front!
Josh have you seen or heard of Deer Crossing Archery Streakers? They're are actually a .245 designed for our hunter series shafts. Would you be interested in checking them out I can send you some. I've personally beat them up pretty good I've shot groups with them and impacted them several times. The battery life is amazing I tested one that I had already been using to practice with and it stayed on for like 22 days. Let me know and I'll send ya some. Thanks man keep the awesome content coming. And just want to say thanks fir everything you do and the effort you put into your content.

running these this year, if I was picking up some practice knocks to match these (going to add coper wire to weight match) which profile best matches them? ("throat" length, thickness at the string, etc.)
I don't use lighted nocks but I guess I should start that seems like a good product. Plus all the guys who think they know more than you I wander why they even watch I watch to learn and I tell everybody I know who shoots at all about the channel.
Heck yeah, I wanted to like the nocturnal shift nocks. Still not super easy to turn off. I broke one of them in the 3 pack trying to turn it off lol. Gonna have to give these a shot
The biggest issue i have with lighted knocks currently is my serving size on my RX-7 is too thick. So when i put a lighted knock on it has too much pinch on the string and i dont want to risk losing accuracy over just having a lighted knock. Great vid though, never heard of them but will definitely check them out when i get a serving jig and learn to reserve lol
i have been messing with fletching size and foc. my conclusion is that foc and size of fletch are inversely related. even with fixed blades the higher the foc the smaller the fletchings. smaller/less resistant. in theory less velocity loss and quieter arow flight. im ecited to see what people think because that is a big pluss for me being a hunter and longer range target shooter.
I switched from fire nock to halo solo based on price I have dozen 5mm in rip tko and dozen in 4mm vap tko and have yet to have a failure other than I shot one an busted it so that's on me my favorite by far for price/quality
Check out Firenock, lighted nocks. By far they are the brightest nocks out there, they also have target circuits that shuts off after 10 seconds. They also have replaceable batteries. I've been shooting same nocks last 4 years

Just saying. LOL
Anyone have issues with a tight nock fit using these Halo nocks on Gas strings? Mine are more snug that I’d like them to be, but don’t know if it is worth it to redo the center serving
what fletching jig are you using mate, that has that large amount of helical so far forward on the shaft please? I want to get the fletching away from touching the side of my face also?
Great video and informative, I was looking at the glory lighted knoks have you tested them? That is really neat the lighted target pin and knocks my grandkids will Love it Thank you for sharing God's Blessings on all your adventures
Anyone else having the problem with them breaking off inside the arrow when shooting into a 3d target? Broke four from hitting soft plastic .204 figment in a .204 arrow
What about Glory knocks? It seems to have same off switch, which is why I use them. Plus they are only $25 for a three pack, and made in the USA. Update, Just looked at my package of glory nocks and the are made by double take. And it looks like the they stopped making the glory nocks, or just changed the name to halo🤔
According to Halo nocks website it says up to weeks. "How long will Halo Nock stay lit? Halo Nock stays lit for days and even weeks, it just gets dimmer slowly over time."
Wish you had done this video a couple days ago before I ordered my Nockturnals. I've seen the Halo's advertised but figured they were another "nock off" (see what I did there?). Had I known the makers came from Nockturnal I would have given them a "shot" (I did it again!) Oh well, got my Nockturnals for 25% off during Prime Days plus a $10 mail-in rebate, so I can't complain. Can you test Woody's?
Hell yeah that’s so badass bro. Love the night shooting, definitely need to invest in some of these. You think they will stick into a carpet target and hold?
I tried em all. Halo nocks by far the best lighted nock.
I like the fact that they are lighter. And that you dont need to push up on the switch with a tip or knife. Appreciate you bringing these to my attention. I currently shoot green Nocturnal GT'S. Might have to try a couple sets of these.
You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! 🤘🎸
"Seabass"
This is the comment i am here for 😂
🤣
Love these nocks. They are from the small town of La Vernia TX. They also made the Glory nock. Been supporting their stuff for a few years now. Awesome that this product made it to your shop up in Washington. 🤘🏼
What happened to glory?
I’ve heard really good things about Woody’s Lighted Nocks!! I personally have shot ignitor lighted nocks by Nufletch and had great luck with those!!!
I would love an in depth video on how to set up archers advantage, I recently got started using it and would like to know I’m using it correctly.
Inside out precision has a good video on this
I’ve been hearing great things about Halo nocks. I’ve never been a fan of lighted nocks, until I saw the way these operate and turn off. I may have to try these out.
Thanks for the vidja Josh Jones!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!
🤘🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🤘🏼
Love seeing these fly at long distance! Gonna have to give these a shot!
I love Nocturnal .166. The are very durable and the nock fit is perfect. Have to try the Halo.
Lighted nocks are the way to go. Absolutely amazing how easy it is to follow the path of the arrow in low light. Badass music selection for those night shots! 🤘🏻 got me head banging while watching hahaha
i discovered these over the summer, they shoot great and are easy to use
Love the Halo nock. I purchased 4 packs of these. There is one negative thing about these. They will turn off if you miss the target and the arrow gets banged around. They will also turn off if you don’t get a complete pass through on an animal and the arrow gets banged around in the brush.
Really? That sux!
Lusk tested the Deepower lighted nock and they did great. I bought some and love them. Always used Nockturnals but these are so easy to turn off, bright, well made and much less expensive.
I use these as well. You get the occasional dud, but $15 for six, and if you leave one on it takes a dang month for it to stop working.
I use the deepower also. When I get one that stops working I put them on my practice arrows.
I purchased a pack of the Deepower and all three wouldn't turn off.
The tuned fine with no issues, but not being able to turn them off was a bummer.
They refunded my money and said they were a bad batch.

The owner is pretty stubborn Doang
I don't think that would ever happen but I do also use lots of firenock products

I have the reds and wow they are bright! And the light is so easy to turn off with the button
This is the best video on Hao nocks I've seen!
I shoot 4mm and the firenocks actually hold up. I use their led system and battery but shoot a beiter nock over the led. Works awesome.
I also shot Firenock G size nock and I use Beiter Outnock over micro diameter Victory VXT arrows. This combo is about 25% brighter than original Firenock.
Need to have a battle of the lighted nocks. Trying to decide which ones to buy.

Do they package them together out of the same mold?
@@bigz5262 unfortunately, no
@@just_tojo thanks for the reply, I’ll wait on the lighted nocks until there’s better ones for micros
I have been thinking about getting lighted nocks thanks for the review.😊
I have damaged my Lumenocks trying to stick a sharp tip in the small slot to turn them off
Just ordered 3 packs, the serving fit is really good, not sloppy like the Nocturnals and not as bulky as the Glory nocks were, weigh 23 grs with GT collar .. Good shooting nocks but several have been a pain to turn off. Might go back to nocturnal only for that reason
I want to see a review of some firenocks!

Josh can you please do a video explaining knock pinch? I looked and couldn’t find much on it. Thank you sir
The part that sucks is when your done on an evening hunt it lights up when you take it off the string!
Josh have you seen or heard of Deer Crossing Archery Streakers? They're are actually a .245 designed for our hunter series shafts. Would you be interested in checking them out I can send you some. Not sure drunk me needs a little target but and the same time late day would help and make for a super fun night.
I've seen videos of a company at the ATA show from the UK? Called SMART NOCKS. Looked great. They use inertia to turn on and off and are rechargeable. ?? Thought you guys might have a little more insight on them.
They must’ve bought out Glory Nock! Exactly the same and they work great.
That target light is awesome
Jupiter Nocks by Flying Arrow Archery have been my go to Nock lately! Extremely Bright and can take some abuse!
I currently have my girlfriend shooting lumenocks and just switched to RIP TKOs because I didn't see any good options for 4mm lighted nocks. I'm definitely going to have to try the halos!
I watched this video and had my first order ready to go and luckily added these into the cart! Keep these videos going love watching.
I love lighted nocks..but last year on a doe all I found was the lighted nock and the doe 60 yards away..couldn’t find the arrow but it was worth it
I just picked some up from my local Archery shop today.
Like Josh said ,I like my wait upfront... I wonder what the difference between these and standard non lighted nocks are...weight.??
Just order some in .166 love my black Eagle deep impacts but every lighted nock I’ve tried breaks so easily. Hoping these will actually hold up.
I have some in the X series for my rip tko and they are Nice. Easy to turn off and on and durable I have spilt one but it happens
What in Tarantino were the orange orange nicks they must have been something from yesterday year lol. Also a quick note your 6 second shots looked to group better the then your 7 to 8 second shots must be the O2 content
Firenock?
running these this year, if I was picking up some practice knocks to match these (going to add coper wire to weight match) which profile best matches them? ("throat" length, thickness at the string, etc.)
Have you ever seen the new smart nock. Its a recchargable lighted nock
All the shifts I've ever bought come in 2pk where u getting 3pks ?
The biggest issue i have with lighted knocks currently is my serving size on my RX-7 is too thick. So when i put a lighted knock on it has too much pinch on the string and i dont want to risk losing accuracy over just having a lighted knock.
Great vid though, never heard of them but will definitely check them out when i get a serving jig and learn to reserve lol
@4:30 MFJJ - Bravo Six, Going Dark
i have been messing with fletching size and foc. my conclusion is that foc and size of fletch are inversely related. even with fixed blades the higher the foc the smaller the fletchings. smaller/less resistant. in theory less velocity loss and quieter arow flight. im ecited to see what people think because that is a big pluss for me being a hunter and longer range target shooter.
Check out Zinger Fletches if you want small one's. You can get 3 or 4 or 6 vein.
@matthewbailey5956 I'm using tak rn because of single bevel seems to have a lot more spin drift with super small vains. 60-70 and in they are lazers.
Looks great! I am going to have to try them.
I switched from fire nock to halo solo based on price I have dozen 5mm in rip tko and dozen in 4mm vap tko and have yet to have a failure other than I shot one an busted it so that's on me my favorite by far for price/quality
Those look cool, and the weight reduction is a plus
Check out Firenock, lighted nocks. By far they are the brightest nocks out there, they also have target circuits that shuts off after 10 seconds. They also have replaceable batteries. I've been shooting same nocks last 4 years
I have been shooting firenocks for many years, in fact, back before the developed the aluminum bushing that gets glued into the shaft that is used to prevent them from lighting up. Long story short, I'm still shooting some with the original batteries that must be at least 6 or more years old. They are expensive but in my opinion the best out there on the market, dependable, bright, weight consistency one to another, easy to use, and very durable. what else could you want or need. In my opinion you made a winner of a choice, and oh yeah, I don't work for them nor am I sponsored by them, just a happy satisfied bowhunter who is now shooting them from the fastest crossbow on the market. Have you checked out Jupiter Nocks? I’m interested in them and I’m between those and the Halos. Thanks!
Have you tried Deepower? First season shooting lighted nocks and after some research... that's what i'm going with this season
Deep power S I believe I got them off of amazon have Been awesome
Anyone have issues with a tight nock fit using these Halo nocks on Gas strings? Mine are more snug that I’d like them to be, but don’t know if it is worth it to redo the center serving
I have gas ghost and they fit pretty good honestly
what fletching jig are you using mate, that has that large amount of helical so far forward on the shaft please? I want to get the fletching away from touching the side of my face also?
How do y’all think they’ll hold up with a 80lbs draw?
Hows the brightness compared to the original nockturnals? I noticed the new ones are not nearly as bright and dont last long or hold up as well. TIA!
Can you do a video on the Suresight Smart Nocks
Of course I just redid my sight tape for my new arrows. And here I thought I wasn't going to shoot lighted nocks this year...
Yeah, I just bought a dozen nockturnal G nock…. Stupid video and MFJJ making me want to try these now.
What size do you use in the Easton axis 4mm long range 340 spine? Do have change the nock inserts?
I just got some and they are awesome. Also 💯% USA made. Thank you for the content.
Also want to see how Archer’s Advantage works.
Is there a better knock for different arrows such as I shoot victory rip tko elite 204. Victory makes a knock. Does it matter
Well you may have sold me on these, especially the 4mm capabilities
Going to see if they at my local shop

Whats a good lighted R knock
Can I please order some.? I’m in the UK and it won’t let me order to my address..?

Can you change the batteries out on them?
Anyone else having the problem with them breaking off inside the arrow when shooting into a 3d target? Broke four from hitting soft plastic .204 figment in a .204 arrow
What serving size do they fit? I tried contacting Halo, but they never responded.
Love all of your videos, great information. Have you’ve tried the new FlexFlex lighted nocks ?
but which is the brightest?
What about Glory knocks? It seems to have same off switch, which is why I use them. Plus they are only $25 for a three pack, and made in the USA.
Update, Just looked at my package of glory nocks and the are made by double take. And it looks like the they stopped making the glory nocks, or just changed the name to halo🤔
Pumped about the weight…
I tried lumenknocks and my arrow started dating an nba player
How much do they weigh?
And how much exactly do they weigh?
Seemed like the red nocks were off a bit.
Did any blue one get shot?
These look sweet
Knock fit?
Aww sheeet, ordering these!
I bought a pack and had one blow up inside the shaft the 3rd time I shot them. I’m gonna stick with Nocturnals
Well first off the music was killer!!! Guess I need to order halo now😂 thanks mfjj!!! Keep up the great work!!
How do these compare to glory lighted nocks? They seem very similar.
They’re the same thing. Glory nock rebranded to halo nock
How well do you think they'll show up in a hunting environment? E.g. mid morning/day in the timber?
What is the expected lifetime of the nock?
Thanks for the video and loved the music 👍
The red ones don’t seem to fly as well?!😂
Speaking of foc what foc percentage do you recommend for hunting?
He always talks about 15% being a good number
@@eggbert191 ok thanks I figured it was somewhere around there
Hell yeah that’s so badass bro. Love the night shooting, definitely need to invest in some of these. You think they will stick into a carpet target and hold?
