- In this video we are still in Colombia and get to know the Xenesthis
sp. "White"!
Xenesthis species belong to the biggest tarantula species on our planet. With up to 8cm bodylenght they reach sizes almost as big as Theraphosa blondi. Even more fascinating is their extremely shy behaviour and their outstanding coloration - which normally big spiders do not have.

What a beautiful country! I love the shiny pink and the black that the tarantula has on her carapace, looks very nice! She was huge in comparison to your hand!!! Fantastic watching them in their natural habitat!
