TIL you're not American As irrelevant as it seems, it's always fascinating to hear the voice of someone you normally only see in shorts. I don't have a boxing gym near me, but I kinda wanna start personally training some shadowboxing and footwork and stuff and this place looks like _a _*_great_* place to start!
My focus is my biggest weakness, as soon as I saw that bonus tip I was like "Shit that's me 😫". It's caused me to switch off while sparring which has a few times resulted in me getting knocked out, a black eye and a bursted nose. I've definitely gotta work on my focus and mental discipline. Can't vouch for the lifestyle change one enough tho, I used to drink alcohol and smoke weed pretty much everyday and I can't tell u how much better feel, not only in boxing bit in life in general, since I've cut those things out, also improving my sleep routine has helped a lot too.
Hey glitch, great video but I just wanna say *do not* put more than 15 hashtags in your youtube description, If you do then youtube will ignore them all and not use any. (This is also for any other content creators reading this)
Gotta ask, ¿How old are you and how long have you been boxing? I often worry about having started to late, i'm going to continue boxing even if its too late for me to get anywhere with it but having a reference of how late is too late would be good.
Really enjoy your videos. One question I have is regarding the saying that "the power in your punch comes from the legs". So do I push off the legs? Won't that make me jump? Sorta confused about how to "use the legs". Thanks!
I think what he means in channeling your energy from the legs up. I know when I train I try to get my momentum started from my feet up while still staying light on my feet. I could be wrong but that’s my theory
Try doing a "shot put" or pick up a heavy dumbell or a stone and try to throw it as far as you can. Last resort try pushing a car, your body will naturally try to dig your toes into the ground and push across your torso. Also, bend from your knees when trying to roll under a punch.
He’s one of the few UA-camrs I know that can actually compete on a high level and I think dominate I think he would trash Ryan Garcia, Rolly and Haney.

I think he meant to rotate with your feet when you strike.
