How has this setup performed since it was installed? Any issues with CV axle angles or whatnot?
rough country makes a 2.5 lift. so would I be safe to combine this( less than 1.5" lift )with a 1" spacer kit to get the benefit of the springs and not maxing out the angle of cv's? it should be less then 2.5 so I assume it would be safe?
How does it feel after 6 months? Do you get vibrations? I read a lot of people are getting them after 6 7000 miles. Thanks!

How do you recalibrate the steering and lane assist self steering as the geometry will have changed.
You need a calibration machine. Windshield replacement shops have them (or have access to them).

I'd doubt it. Eibach lifts are mild (especially on this Rav4 with less then 2" lift).
Can you do this on the hybrid awd
Yes Eibachs site says compatible with all models including hybrids. Slightly less left on hybrids with battery weight couple hundred pounds.
Do you have to recalibrate the front camera when you install these for lane assist?

I just got my XSE 2 days ago. Getting ready to pull the trigger on a kit. Can’t decide between LP Adventure or this Eibach. Any wobbling while driving at certain speeds? Any issues that have arose with these Springs?

Hello when lifting rave 4 is it necessary to buy larger tires?
No it’s not necessary but you lift it to fit larger tires or more clearance overall
For alignment Did you change the camber bolt kit in front? what size is it??
We did not change that we did take it to alignment shop after though to get aligned

i installed mine in my 2014. bilstein b6 and eibach pro lift kit. 1.5' , since my oem struts are not good anymore i change all for.
What I don’t get on the front
If I change a stock strut in the stock spring. The stock shock seems only just long enough with the stock spring
Where does that extra inch come from in the travel of the shock
Maybe just no longer compressing as much. Stock might have compressed an inch more when on the ground. Just my guess
When on dead stop and accelerate 18mph to 28mph i experience shimmy or vibration any one knows or suggestions what was the problem??

Did anyone find a solution for longer throw aftermarket struts and shocks? I can hear thuds when passing over potholes and the wheel has to abruptly drop. Seems that with such a lift, the shocks reach the end of their throw. Maybe another solution might be to add shock extenders?

@@johnmichael8052 no, eventually I installed a custom made set with longer damping throw and everything works very well now. No hard hits on potholes etc. and the driving experience is even better than with the oem ones.

@@johnmichael8052 you have to make contact with a custom dampers manufacturer. I live in Greece, I can give you details of the manufacturer but maybe its better to search for one on your country.

i would check with your dealership i dont think so but i would keep the stock springs just inc ase
Yes.
You'd lose warranty relating to suspension. But other components would be under warranty still.
How many hrs shop time to complete? My dealership quoted me 8hrs🤔

Eibach proposes 4 spring versions: Base, Hybrid, Adventure and TRD (what is this acronym?). Which version have you installed here ? Thanks guys, very good video.
Toyota Racing Development
Eibach only makes 1 set of springs for 5th gen Rav4s. On their site you'll see options for trims you mentioned but look at the part # they offer and it's the same across the board. All they're doing on their site is showing how much of a lift you should expect based on which model you have.

I been waiting for this I have a 2023 rav 4 XLE Hybrid I want to lift it 2 inches why Toyota didn’t make this standard is beyond me if your gonna call the RAV a suv then Toyota should present a “ standard “ lifted model I not sure if they lifted the TRD model

Any comparison with the other companies that make lift kits? From what I've seen they use spacers instead of taller springs.
Also, what about doing a lift on the hybrid models? I like the higher mileage and power of the prime version.
We recommend Springs over spacers because there going to have a better ride quality but we will be switching to dendon coils and a spacer lift just due to having a lot of weight now if u want to follow up follow my friends Instagram is @ravnture you can ask him more questions there and if I’m not mistaken

An 1 inch lift? That's it??? What is the permissible MAX on the lift?
Please use a torque wrench (NOT A IMPACT WRENCH😡) to tighten the strut nut with a strap hold on the shaft. Thanks for not run all your bolts and nuts down all and finish off with torquing the fasteners.

Imagine to have your car built in Japan, to end up in the hands of a punk who doesn't even know or believes in torque specs...
I won’t say punk, but I will say that the lack of alignment and ‘the ability to just feel when a bolt is torqued’ really put me off. I hadn’t even considered that someone would take shortcuts like this, and now it’s all I can think of when I think about getting mine lifted.
