NOTE: If your lower alloy bracket bar has a second threaded stud, then drill out a hole in the provided bracket here and reuse the factory nut. After doing this, there is no need to secure in place with pop rivets. Please refer to the image in the PDF instructions.

Will the bottom be exposed like that? If yes, can you add mounting points so we can keep the factory splash panel that covers the engine oil tank? Or will you have a matching skid plate? No skin looks scary, Lol.

is it attached with front airbag sensors ?? if you go wild in off rode will it open the air bag ?
Hi, the Bumper Guard does not interfere with your airbag sensors.
Can the bar be used for a recovery point? If so does it have to be straight line pull or is angled okay? What weight pull can it handle? Looks great!
The RAV4 Front Bumper Guard is intended for front bumper protection. It is not intended to be used as a recovery point.
@@Ironman4x4America gotcha. Thanks for the swiftly response. Fingers crossed you all will make one with recovery points. Only one other company making them that I know of & using the shipping bolts, like others do, is a horrible idea. Thanks again!

Couple questions. Im seriously buying soon. Im just doing research 1st. 1. Do you have a bumper in the making? If so, i will wait because only one guy makes them that I can find and things seem sketch with him. Not sure i will go that route. 2. What grade of steal is this? So far this is my first pick because I dont trust the bumper guy I found. And the other set up close to this set up is an extremely low grade of steel. Doesnt have a frame design or mounting where yours does. This is impressive. While this coat 300 more than the other, i can see why. The quality is definitely in this design vs the other one i found. Id rather pay more for better.
Hello, this is the only front bumper we are offering for the Toyota RAV4. We do have a matching rear coming soon too! I do not have the exact grade of steel that we used in the construction but I do know that it is 1.5" tube with a .10" wall thickness. We have these in stock and ready to ship. Hope this helps!

Well at least it will protect from squirrels.....and when your kids drives up to close to the stores walk way.
Other than that it's a glorified light bar. I'm not going off roading in my rav4 but we have some good sized white tail deer in the Midwest that I want another layer of protection for. This will just be sure to break the legs before they fly at your hood.
Not going on any Mad Max runs so I will pass. Not sure what the purpose of the front bar is besides a light stand? If you hit something hard with that bar you are still going to dent or move the frame of the car??? Perhaps to move wild animals out of the way??
Right!?! Useless for anything more than a squirrel or for driving to close to the concrete stoppers at stores.
