That little screen you took out with the needle nose pliers fell out of mine, I put it back together without the screen and had a lot more water pressure, I believe it is a water resticter, something to do with a government regulation.
Yes, it can be run without it, but not sure if your nozzle will get gunked up inside later on. It serves as a screen to keep deposits out of the faucet head.
Thank you @vdeporres1. I appreciate the nice comment and feedback. Thank you for watching and please don't forget to subscribe for more great TYMM videos. :)
This has to be one of the best self help DIY Videos I have ever seen. This man puts the entire process in layman's terms. He took the time to prepare and structure this step by step video. i have seen videos where the "mechanic is clueless" just looking for likes. This guy is looking to be helpful. good for him
Good video. One thing though, you did the spray faucet disassembly over the sink. The filters could easily drop down the disposal or drain. I suggest extracting the filters from the detached sprsyer unint over a work table.
Thank you. I agree. Be careful and remove parts over counter if possible. Don't want to lose that little filter. Thank you for watching. Please like, comment, and subscribe. TYMM :)
Thank you Chuck. Glad the video helped. You will need to do this every once in a while as the mineral deposits and sand build up. Thank you for watching and your positive comment. Please like, share, and subscribe. TYMM :)
I had been soaking the entire head in CLR, but it would last about a month and the flow slowed down. I knew there had to be something inside the head. Your video helped so much: clear instructions, clear video, and effective solution. Thank you so much!
Great Video. Thanks for your help! I didn't know about the small filter in the top that you needed to pull out with the needle nose pliers. I had already replaced the one on the bottom that you took out with your screwdriver. The original packaging I had, came with a plastic tool to take it out with. The flow is back to normal and now I don't have to wait forever for to fill up a glass water..lol.
@@jaghen2000 Thank you for the comment. Yep. That small little screen clogs up so easy. Thank you for watching. Please like, share, and subscribe. TYMM :)
Thanks A LOT for this video! I spent 3 hours replacing two angle stops under my sink, only to realize I needed to "replace" this $200+ faucet I bought from Lowes/Home Depot. Or do I.....? I followed these steps exactly and ALL IS GOOD (and I have, er...new angle stops {sigh}).
This just saved me. Our faucet has had low pressure for weeks. Couldn’t figure out how to get the head off. Watching this, I had it fixed in less than 5 minutes. Just needed to simplify clean that little screen and it’s like a new faucet.
Fantastic to hear. That little screen gets clogged once in a while but is definitely needed. Quick fix for the win! Thank you for watching. Please subscribe for more TYMM DIY videos.
great video on this faucet head. I have used CLR and that works great. I also just replaced my water softener and things are so much better. Are water hardness is between 20 to 25.
Cleaned/ soaked overnight with CLR saw this video and it was the tiny screen that had innumerable clogs. Used just plain cold water and light strokes of the toothbrush. 2X the pressure coming through 🏆

I am grateful for the video of this faucet. Very well done. However I could not snap the hose back in place. Now the little button is stuck halfway between two notches. I even got some muscle help from my daughter and her boyfriend. And still won't snap into place. I'm going to try a wrench and something to protect the plastic.
Fixed my problem in 10 minutes, thanks. Had some broken down rubber gunk obstructing the flow on top of the flow restrictor. So now I'm wondering, what was the little rubber bit that fell apart?
Glad your all fixed up. There is a rubber o-ring on those hose but not sure where the gunk was coming from in your case. Thank you for watching. :) TYMM
Thanks from Long Island!! My faucet was brand new with low flow. At first I thought there was a flow limiter in there, then I took it apart and found some green granular stuff clogging it up. The pressure is pretty good now but I wonder if that screen aerator part you unscrewed can be replaced with one that would allow more pressure.
Glad it helped! That's what I like to hear. Yes, be careful taking parts off. They may fall down drain. Thank you for watching Kevin. Please like, share, and subscribe. TYMM :)
I have the same system in my Costa Rica house, and I had super hard water till I upgraded the system. I took it apart and am soaking it in vinegar now. Fingers crossed.
I was hoping that you would show how to remove flow restrictor from this faucet. This is a brand new faucet and I have poor flow at the kitchen sink, but it is fine elsewhere in the house.
THANK YOU for this video!!! It’s perfect and best of all it fixed my water pressure problem with the Delta! After all the problems I’ve had with faucets for this kitchen sink, I was sure a video couldn’t help this time (videos didn’t help with the cheap Lowes faucet last year) but it did! Btw, don’t ever buy Lowes Project Source anything.

Super helpful, man. I was so confused this morning when only my kitchen faucet was running at a trickle. Turns out this particular faucet head has a filter in it finer than most. I just sprayed the gunk out of the faucet head until it ran clear and viola. Next step: whole house water filter.
I have 2 Delta faucets like these. The kitchen plugged up before and I used this method with great success. Now a year later, both the kitchen and laundry room faucet developed very slow flow. I fixed the laundry room faucet with this method, bit the second time I tried to do the kitchen head, the steel faucet screen with the tiny plastic tip would not pull out. It was stuck tight and I started to break off little black pieces of plastic. I did not want to break off that plastic tip completely, so I left that screen in place and poured the solution into the area above it. I let it percolate in place and then scrubbed a little with Advanced Gum teeth cleaners (the kind used instead of dental floss to clean between your teeth). I could see white plaque coming loose and so I rinsed and repeated and teased out the lime deposits, And it worked perfectly! So it is an alternate way to clean the steel screen piece, especially if yours gets stuck like mine.
Hi Lazar. If you have low pressure coming out of the water line then you have an obstruction in that particular water hose or the pipe. If it is the hose, you can simply replace the hose and test. If it is the pipe, then call a plumber. Thank you for watching. :) TYMM
Thank you for the video. I have about 10 more minutes of soaking the exact same Kitchen faucet head and associated filter parts in the cut up water bottle like you demonstrated. If its the filter in the faucet head you have to pry/dig it out after turning it several revolutions to make sure the threads are loose.
