I literally just cleaned thos connector. The little white piece inside will slide right out. You can clean any debri out & slide it right back in. EASY PROCESS! Thank you for your video!
Thank you for the video. I have a new glacier bay kitchen faucet, but I'm not too happy with the water pressure. I tried to remove the "backflow preventor" inside the quick connect, which doesn't improve much. I am wondering where is the restrictor located? The model I have had a very slim faucet head and a fine messed filter web. So it's hard for me to remove it from the faucet sleeve, or remove the filter web to access the restrictor. Do you think the quick connect has different flow ratings? Thanks.
I have this problem with brand new faucets even after clearing the supply lines. Have to remove the ceramic valve and check valve assembly to get all the crap out.
@@LexVance been meaning to ask you. Can you do a video on mold remediation? We do a lot of that in house at our property. Curious to see how y’all do it elsewhere.
A vaccum breaker. For when they use the fire hydrant the pressure it creates won't cave in the plumbing if I remember correctly. Thank you so much for watching Richard!
That piece that looks like a brass tubular fuse is a (water hammer arrestor). If the pipe in the wall is not strapped off good, water pressure in the pipes can cause the pipes to move when it's turned off and on. Have you ever been inside an old house and heard a knocking on the wall when the water is turned off and on? That device stops that from happening.
Keep doing it and you'll get better. Mistakes breed experience and experience breeds wisdom. That's how I learned all I know. Just getting out there and making mistakes. I've never taken a course or anything on this stuff. Thank you so much for watching Tyres!

That's a good question. I'm not sure because I've never had this issue. 🤔

Can you post a quick video on multimeter use/ohms Lex !
Here's a link to a multimeter video I did: ua-cam.com/video/4lOofg6EyxI/v-deo.html
This wasn't my problem, but still a useful video.

Cool. So is that quick connect piece like a diverter? I've changed those before but honestly replace the faucet whenever I've dealt with them.
I believe so. I'm still learning these pull sprayer faucets. Thank you so much for watching Scorpio!
never would have looked for that.
Thank you so much for watching Hal!
Hi what is the name of that piece? Where can I purchase a new one?
A pull faucet sprayer that has 5 screw adapters.
Question for you, what is that little canister looking thing under the sink that looks like a 60 amp fuse for an AC disconnect box?
