IFB should make this a paid promo. This oven is useless for convection baking. We shouldn't be doing tricks to bake in an oven. I shall try this and let you know. Makes sense whatever you mentioned, Thanks for all the experiments you took on behalf of us :D

No, you should not use steel in a microwave Metal surfaces reflect microwaves, which can cause sparking and increase the heat inside the microwave. If there is something flammable in the microwave, a fire could break out.

Yes keep for some more time... & demould the cake after 10 minutes of taking out from the oven... Keeping it too long in the tin will result in a soggy bottom...

Switch on the oven ..select preheat option and select desired temperature...then press start...oven will stop on its own...place the cake tin Inside...again select desired temperature and time and press start for baking

Yes you can... I used ifb oven 20sc2 before buying this one... And the settings wer same... One thing I observed in IFB Oven is it gets heated up quickly... So always better to bake at lower temperatures as explained in the video

Don't worry... This happened with me too... After I followed the exact measurements came out perfect... But again one day wen I baked this same recipe in a wider pan the cake got burnt in 15 minutes.... That means cake tin size also matters ( the cake tin used in this video is of 6 inches)

Today when I was going to do cake in my IFB microwave oven , according to you I started to preheat but after clicking preheat option it started to spin and I got burnt smell after 1-2 minutes , does it happen to you also?
Burnt smell comes when there are food particles stuck inside ur oven... Always before baking I would recommend u to steam clean your oven the previous day or at least one hour before... Allow it to cool completely... Pat inside dry with a clean kitchen towel if possible
Yes.. After preheating at 160 degree again baking should be done in convection mode only... If you select microwave mode then cake might burn... Also I have no idea of cake premixes... The temperature setting that I have recommended is for homemade cake batter recipe
Either the ovens coil has spoiled and needs servicing or food particles are stuck causing burning smell...clean the oven and see...if still burning smell persists call a technician

Yes same... But cooking time might be slightly more... After 20 minutes if you still feel that cake is not done... Reduce temperature to 150 & then bake again until it is done
Yes this is because there is no rod below in any microwave oven compared to OTG. There is rod only above in a microwave oven due to which cake browns on top an does not on the sides and bottom
I also use ifb microwave oven. The I problem I have it does not give that brown colour to the base of the cake or even pizza crust . Can you please share the pizza recipe as well using the home made pizza base.?

I have been baking cake using this method... There is also an auto cook menu option which shows you can bake cake by just selecting that menu... Please select the mode of baking that suits you... My cake comes out perfect for the given recipe with the said settings as explained in the video
I have this same IFB microwave.. and I tried baking my cakes several time but each and every time, I ended up either with a uncooked cake even at 180 degree. Now tried this hack and still couldn’t make it. The cake was again tilted and uncooked at 150 degree for 45 mins.

To substitute eggs generally people add curd... For 1 egg 1/4th cup fresh curd is the substitute... I haven't tried it... Please try once and share feedback... Will try to share a veg cake recipe soon... Meanwhile if you are making please do shar feedback 🙂

No if it is a half kg cake then 160 degree for 25-27 minutes... More batter means more time.. Then maybe 40-45 minutes... Please search for kitchen Revelations sponge cake recipe on UA-cam... I have explained in detail with measurements
Follow this recipe & u will get perfectly baked cakes... Note that I have used 6 inch pan.. The same batter when I baked in 10 inch pan it got burnt completely coz I had cooked for same amount of time... Wider the pan & less batter will take less time & temperature too needs to be reduced

What was the size of your cake tin... Mine was 6 inches... The same recipe and measurement wen I baked in a 10 inch pan it got burnt.... I kept it as usual for 25 minutes.... But wen I checked after that time it was completely burnt... If the width of your cake tin is big n batter is less then u need to reduce your temperature further n check after 15 minutes... Else the recipe what I have explained if you are following step by step and if the cake tin measurement is accurate then this recipe is Foolproof... I have made it several times

Haven't tried that mode...maybe you can try using small qty...also oven proof cake tray can be used

Yes same... But cooking time might be slightly more... After 20 minutes if you still feel that cake is not done... Reduce temperature to 150 & then bake again until it is done
But the cake hasnt browned on the side and bottom
Yes this is because there is no rod below in any microwave oven compared to OTG. There is rod only above in a microwave oven due to which cake browns on top an does not on the sides and bottom

I also use ifb microwave oven. The I problem I have it does not give that brown colour to the base of the cake or even pizza crust . Can you please share the pizza recipe as well using the home made pizza base.?

The guy came to do the demo of oven told me to use micro+convection when baking cake, r u sure the cake will be well cooked in convection mode
I have been baking cake using this method... There is also an auto cook menu option which shows you can bake cake by just selecting that menu... Please select the mode of baking that suits you... My cake comes out perfect for the given recipe with the said settings as explained in the video

I have this same IFB microwave.. and I tried baking my cakes several time but each and every time, I ended up either with a uncooked cake even at 180 degree. Now tried this hack and still couldn’t make it. The cake was again tilted and uncooked at 150 degree for 45 mins.
Please follow exact measurements..it will come out perfectly

To substitute eggs generally people add curd... For 1 egg 1/4th cup fresh curd is the substitute... I haven't tried it... Please try once and share feedback... Will try to share a veg cake recipe soon... Meanwhile if you are making please do shar feedback 🙂

No if it is a half kg cake then 160 degree for 25-27 minutes... More batter means more time.. Then maybe 40-45 minutes... Please search for kitchen Revelations sponge cake recipe on UA-cam... I have explained in detail with measurements

even I faced the same problem & on the top layer z getting burnt within 8 min...using ifb 30 src1
Follow this recipe & u will get perfectly baked cakes... Note that I have used 6 inch pan.. The same batter when I baked in 10 inch pan it got burnt completely coz I had cooked for same amount of time... Wider the pan & less batter will take less time & temperature too needs to be reduced

Mam i also tried...... but got the result of burned cake or sunken cake or uncooked cake. my doubt is preheating and baking temperature. Kindly Explain the procedure step by step.
What was the size of your cake tin... Mine was 6 inches... The same recipe and measurement wen I baked in a 10 inch pan it got burnt.... I kept it as usual for 25 minutes.... But wen I checked after that time it was completely burnt... If the width of your cake tin is big n batter is less then u need to reduce your temperature further n check after 15 minutes... Else the recipe what I have explained if you are following step by step and if the cake tin measurement is accurate then this recipe is Foolproof... I have made it several times
