This was very informative Shivesh. But I have a few more questions.
    1. What's the basic difference between baking in a microwave and an otg?
    2. Which are the must-have features of an otg?
    3. If I want to bake 2 layers of a cake simultaneously in an otg, what are the points I need to look at while buying the otg?
    4. Is a medium size otg as u categorized, enough for baking a 2 kg cake?
I would be really grateful if you answer these queries. Thanks in advance and happy baking!

Hi Shivesh. It would be so nice if you could particularly help with the function knob & explain which functions are used for stuff like general baking of pizza, breads, baked veg etc. I suppose you suggested convection mode instead of bake mode for desserts. I hope that applies for all type of cakes & cookies too. Hope to see a revert.
    Thanks

You need to understand the temprature requirements for your product. Then Set the rod settings accordingly. I use the same oven i.e. morphy richards 52 ltrs.If you are baking the cake put both the rods on with fan for about 35-40 mnts. Time may increas as per the size of your cake.for cookies use only top rod.. If you are baking breads , puff pstries etc , these products needs an instant rise first then baking evenly. For this purpose you can use bottom rod only with high temprature so that it will give an instant rise to your product and then after 8-10 mnts you can switch to both rods with fan option and decreased temprature for even baking.

I am using a morphy richards 18 ltr otg. When I bake a cake with both top and bottom rods on, my cake was well cooked at the bottom but the top was slightly charred with a crusty layer. Please do advice me on how to get a perfectly baked cake. Also I would like to know what mode to be used while baking cookies.

Hey Shivesh, thank you for this video. It is really helpful. I previously owned MR 52 ltrs and for me the letdowns were temperature control and uneven heat distribution, door visibility was extremely poor and also the closure of door. Despite being a seasoned baker, the results weren't predictable for me. Looking to buy a new otg...50 ltrs and above. Which brand would you recommend for even heating? Thanks in advance Shivesh. Love your work.

Hi.. Shivesh..now a days no any OTG match the temperature with oven thermometer....so how to solve this problem... every OTG gives 60-70degree more temperature than oven thermometer..if reduce the temperature then it cools😏 plz recommend the right OTG.. specially for making Macarons 🙏

Thank you Shivesh.. this was truly helpful.. I have just bought a Murphy Richard’s 52lts, and all my cakes and cookies were either burning or were uncooked/baked. Got to know from ur video, I need to have the fan on.. also pls do let know, does this particular OTG heat up more coz of the size and make, so should I set the time and temperature for a lil lesser than given in the recipie? Thank you
