- Halifax Psychologist Brad Peters talks about some of the psychological obstacles that people often face when considering to embark on a course of therapy.
Brad discusses and briefly challenges three common thoughts or assumptions:
1) "Speaking to a psychologist about my issues is a sign of weakness"
2) "Other people have more significant issues - my problems are not worth talking about"
3) "I feel stupid for not being able to figure out these issues on my own"
Do you know of other worries or anxieties people might have? If so, please leave some thoughts in the comments section.

This is a good therpy video
Yep, I am the 'it's not that bad' type.
And the other therpy videos
Sums up exactly my anxiety about therapy. Really uncomfortable with vulnerability. Probably relates to my needs as a child being minimalised. Stoicism becomes a reflex sadly. I know it is a mask.
