- In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 2005 Mercedes E320 Sport. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
There are days when I have had doubts about Mercedes cars as a whole, but when I look at BMW, Cadillac, Audi, and Lexus, I keep going back to looking at Mercedes and liking it more.

This generation of E Class is my favourite. The newest one looks like a damn Honda Accord. The big grill and bug eyed headlights make this car look so wonderfully MB.

w211 body still looks hot and classy! at 2020 i’ve purchased 2005 w211 white ex. tan interior, with only 50K miles, for reasonable price. It still feels like a new car.very smooth luxury ride. German car!
I have this model but with the long boot. Its a monster of a car. The ride is amazing and that engine is perfect. Tried Cruise and Sport mode and they both nice but I like the power of the sport mode. Beautiful car

@@LilFyve Hi niceeee. Mainly they are strong cars with no major problems and the ride is fantastic. The only thing I can advise is don't abuse with the up and down mechanism of the ride as it can cost a bit to get it fixed. Settle for a comfortable ride and leave it there. Check for that if it is working when you buy it as well.

+njack1994 If you think that, you need to get out more. This is in no way, shape, or fashion a "review". All he is doing is showing you where the controls are for various functions of the vehicle. Of course, I wouldn't expect someone with Trailer Park grammar like you ( "come crossed", really?? ) to know the difference.

He didn’t show the best part! When you touch the chrome strip under the hazard button, the whole panel under the navigation slides out and up and then a 6 disc CD player pops out.
When i was very little my mom and dad had this car it was a blue one it was a 2005 model like the white one he traded in to the gl 450 (2007 model) in 2011 because my brother was born and my parents needed a bigger car but i can vividly remember that car because i was turning 4 at the time i hope the current owner is happy for the car

Love it! The AMG package makes even the bottom rung E-class a lot more aesthetically pleasing! Question, is that compartment under the seat for additional storage (might be a stupid question, but O well lol)

my car except mine has a black leather interior,i love this car and i think i was luck to get it..I bought it from an elderly white Australian...He took good care of it,took it to a service every six months,has no accident history and is covered..I got all that R74000 i had R80000 and i just saw a bargain.The own sold it to me immediately,i used the remaining R8000 to get the dents fixed and tinted windows.I have had it for a year now and i have never crashed it,it has never given me problems,and its always ready for a long distance to KZN plus it saves petrol,i dont have any complains with it,i just wanna buy the AMG rims and i will love it even more...I a, married to it lol

The germans sure know how to make a great midsize luxury sedan.
I have a E500 I love it. Some things to note, ball joints fail very easily causing a horrible squeak I recommend replacing them. The license plate wiring gets cut over time and needs to be fixed. And if equipped with SBC Brakes the SBC battery will need replaced soon if you get a red battery message

I have a 05 E500 and i love it.
Beautiful is the W211 chassis! Some minor issues with the USA version that mar the car compared to the Australian iteration: the unpleasant orange turn signal lamps installed in the front bumpers--there are already LED signal lamps in the mirrors and in the upper headlamps. The horrible triple bong tone on starting to prompt seatbelts. We get a subtle reminder tone only, when driving off, becoming more strident if you don't belt up. An awesome MB, becoming rarer with time...
gotta love those 5-spoke AMG alloy wheels w/ performance tires :-D
@HamburgerUtopia Go for 06 to 08 if you like this generation of E Class. Make sure you find one that's been properly maintained, mostly you might get problems with the airmatic suspension but newer models had an improved version of airmatic. A/C likes to go out on them too so make sure that works as well as everything else.
My friend owned an 03 E500 and we did spend sometime under the hood of the car fixing it lol.
The radio gives me nostalgia from a couple years back.
i REALLY recommend that you look into the E320 CDI it is a diesel which means you save on money for fuel PLUS you get a BETTER engine ( Has more torque, and very durable).
In vancouver it costs about 25 grand
@seanchin it is the name for the type of service that is due on the car. for example in 'Service A' they check the oil, brakes, air filters, etc. Each Service is different or nearly similar to previous services.

All cars have problems. Just keep up the maintenance and you'll be fine.

i JUST bought one!
Got mine for 17 grand from Albuquerque NM and after import fees and other taxes and levies, it came about to 20 grand, because i brought it up to Vancouver.
How is it now

Would you do a Mercedes CLS350 V6 petrol? because its practically a coupe E- class! The V6 engine is the pick of the bunch.
i love the chime that this E-class makes. the chime at start-up on my 2008 S-550 4Matic is way too loud
@iceonthemoon I don't think those are available here in North America. It's either CLS500/550/55/63AMG. Wish we had a diesel version though.

Ive just been offered one of these in exchange for my BMW 7 series ...... Think I will keep the BM , the interior on it is much nicer than the Matalan based Mercedes interior . and its much sleeker .

Just an FYI next time you are in one of these fine cars.... the silver/chrome bar under the Hazard Triangle.... If you push it that whole area separates from the dashboard and that is where the CD changer is!

Yeah new diesels are much smoother. I've seen one with 400,000kms here in Toronto. The previous owner got a hell of a lot of use out of it and I'm sure it'll do another 400k.

Question.... My 03 Benz e500,s gauges stoped working, when I'm on the freeway or when I speed up, the speedometer stops at 40 mph. Why is that? Howbcan I fix?.. Please help..
