    It's amazing where the electric skateboard community has come from four years ago, 30 was considered fast when this video was released and now both me and my friend are working on builds that will go about 45.

      The_Wrath_of_Neeson if you're wearing a helmet it's actually so fun, but I was at 70km which is about 40 something mph, like, I literally slid for 2 houses distance and it was so fun, but cleaning the grazes stung a bit, if you land awkwardly then you might break something, just don't do it on a busy road and be careful of where the board will go, don't want to break it

    I genuinely wanna do this - mainly because I'm cheap and don't want to spend all that money on a boosted or metro board.

    • @Mikenopolis
      @Mikenopolis 7 років тому

      it's not cheap. you can go cheap, but it's not a good idea. THAT battery (with enclosure, LCD, BMS etc.) is at least $400. The dual hub motors are like $300-500 depending on specs. this one has two VESCs (one needed for each motor) from Ollinboard which is $165, the remote and transmitter can be from $30-100. Then you need to solder a few things, have a deck then program the VESC.

    • @EhabAboud
      @EhabAboud 7 років тому

      Mikenopolis wow - quite a fair bit. Seems more worth it in terms of range and speed tho

    • @Mikenopolis

  • @holden420ing
    @holden420ing 6 років тому

    At three times the range of a boosted why would anyone ever buy a boosted considering the price. Sam you should hit up a wowgo, meepo, onboard, teemo or verreal for range vs price vs speed vs smother ride than boosted or is it " merica.. f&*k yeah" boosted craze vs China made thing, uncle Trump buy usa thing? You could buy three sweet Chinese boards for the price of one boosted so what gives.....? So many of the China boards are awesome, free roll great and soo easy to customise with what ever deck you want. Ps. they all have reverse as standard but not sure why you would want it. Awesome vid will be watching more.👍 subed.
