Can you possibly make another video showing how everything is wired and configured, as well as all the electronics you are using, I can't seem to find the parts lists as I would love to do just about the same build you did here!

Been using normal ESC's for about 2 years, and today switched to the FOCBOX (also a vesc but a bit better for FOC) and although I haven't had the chance to ride with it much, I must say it's a big improvement. Personally I think it's worth to spend a little more on a good vesc than to cheap out on a regular esc. So much customization with vesc and much smoother acceleration and especially braking!

Using a VESC as a speed controller helps too, but to totally get rid of shaking motor at startup you need a sensored motor with the sensor wire connected to the ESC of course. I know the wire configuration coming out of the motor, can you help me with the pinout on the ESC? what corrisponds to what? thanks in advance.
There are 2 types of motors as you said. Sensored and Sensorless. In a sensored motor there are so called hall effect sensors which produce an electronic pulse when subjected to a magnetic field. This pulse changes depending on which direction the motor turns by itself. This can be either because you applied power or because you are rolling. These pulses are going to a sensor wire which is visible as the 4th wire appart from the 3 phase wires on a burshless motor. These sensors allow the ESC to detect rotation of the motor and adapt to it. This allows for smoother starts as well as a removal of a "shake" when stating from a full stop. Sensorless wires only has 3 phases without the 4th sensor wire. Theoretically this means that you don't have the benefits of a sensored motor however, the VESC (vedder electronic speed controller) allows for smooth starts even without sensors (Which is what I personally have). If you pick a normal RC ESC then the benefits of the VESC are not given and starts and the shake *will* be present. Hope it helps

What if I use 1500KV 2200W motor? Why didnt you max it out, its the same cost for the motor... 1) how much can this motor increase my speed vs yours? 2) will acceleration change with more KV motor or just speed?
Veeeery terrible idea. High KV is made for quick spinning things like helicopters and RC planes and NOT for something that needs insane torque! You want to be between 100 and 300kv for eboards because you need insane amounts of torque to get moving and not overload the motor. Google: electric longboard speed calculator. It'll let you see what speed you'll get. Don't go above 300kv trust me! Burned through a 500kv motor. (Also 63mm is good. 50mm will work too but don't go below 50)
You mentioned the broken motor was to weak, but the one i ordert is a little bit less powerful with only 280Kv and 1510W.. is this enough? I am scared, that mine is to weak too! Thanks!
Dani P The broken one was 40mm I think. The motor I currently use is 50mm which is fine. Just don't go below 50mm! Other than that the specs you gave me are totally fine

I have programmed the ESC with the program card, but that shouldn't change much. It also has to do with how many cells you're running, what your motor KV is, what gearing ratio you have, and what diameter wheels you have.

He uses two lipo batterys with 8000mAh and 3s, he talks about it from minute 5 to 6

I have a motor 192kv turnigy , with a wheel diameter of 76mm with a 16 tooth motor pulley and a 48 tooth wheel pulley
I'm at 6S, 270kv, 15t 36t, 90mm wheels, so that's why we have a speed difference
wheel size does matter quite a lot
How did you connect both of the batteries to the esc as one

I connected mine in series to double voltage
