    Today I tackle a much requested project. Many of you guys have been asking me to make a DIY Electric Penny Board. Today I do just that. A perfect DIY electric skateboard project for budget builds and beginners. Very easy to put together. I've built a ton of DIY Boosted Boards but this one is much different. Super small and very convenient.

      @Ambroses.Kittens 3 роки тому +1

      I know that kind of sucks but honestly any board that is that cheap will only get you like 10 (very slow and short) uses I’m speaking from personal experience.
      Like a good ESC usually cost anywhere between $69-$100

    How is the accelerating and braking like? These two are pretty important factors. A good board doesn't only mean it can run fast but also lot more considerations to provide a safe and comfortable experience. And I think this built also cost as much as a mature electric board on the market. The parts are twice of the after market price, way to expensive.

      Both options will be great for getting around campus. The Boosted Board Mini ships in 8-10 weeks so if you are willing to wait it is a good option. If you want a board in the next 2 weeks or so then DIY might be the way to go

      It would work :) just be sure to measure your deck and compare to the dimensions of the battery to be sure it will fit under the deck. The batteries are identical in voltage, the 10s3p just has a higher capacity so it will work just the same with all of the other electronics.

      The difference would only be the speed 👍🏻 Just a little slower. Should still hit 18mph or so

    Do you think if I took all the electronics of this board and put it on a regular sized board it would perform decently?

    • @MikeBeard
      @MikeBeard  6 років тому

      Yeah I’m sure it would perform well. Although you might want to consider the larger hub motors. It would look nicer on a larger board for sure.

    • @MikeBeard
