How clever, Ken. That looks fabulous. The cactus was transformed from something unsuitable for turning into the perfect decoration to the rim area of this bowl. Very nice - I look forward to what you do next.
As I watch you mix colors my mind says "I'm not sure about those color choices " and everytime you make something absolutely stunning. Keep doing what you're doing and keep proving me wrong.
Good looking project. I wondered what y'all did with all those Chollas the last time we drove through the plains of South Carolina. We're blessed with Kudzu in Tennessee, any ideas? lol
Beautifully done! I was horseback riding in Arizona many years ago and my horse bumped into a “jumping cholla”. That was a heck of a ride as he tried to buck them off. Thankfully one of the wranglers was able to swipe it off with his knife. It sure added some excitement to the trail ride!
@@MoonpieCreations at least I stuck the ride and didn’t get myself tossed into the cholla bush, too. THAT would have been bad. It’s so beautiful down by Tuscon. I loved the desert museum down there.
I know I say this a lot, but it’s true every time: G’job! This is beautiful. I guess it’s been a while since you’ve done a video like this. I find them very relaxing. Thanks!
Awesomely beautiful. Sorry I have been missing. I got covid, nearly died, couldn't even talk. Spent a month in an adult facility. Am home now, covid free, but still healing. Doing better each day. I have missed your videos. Being in and from Arizona, I love love love this bowl. Stunning. Wish I could afford this awesome bowl.
Ooooooh buddy, when that blade broke my whole booty clenched up into my throat🤣 I was trained as a carpenter & have had kickbacks with power saws before. Your whole life flashes before your eyes😳
Really nice bowl! Any belt, like your bandsaw blade is quite the surprise when it breaks. I've been hit by 2X72" grinding belts from my knife grinder as they ripped apart. It doesn't hurt anything, but I have a series of emotional events when it happens. 😂

Not much to say apart from wow what a nice peace 👍🏻
Wow - that went fast! Can you give us an idea of how much it cost?
you found the beauty in a very mean cactus. I subscribed to see all your future masterpieces 👍😊👍
Oh my gosh!!!! How lovely! The cactus looks like flowers floating in the resin. Gosh, Ken, that is fabulous.
It does! Thanks

Thanks so much! I have plans for some stuff a buddy sent me.
I love the look of the cactus pieces. Awesome job!!
Thank you! 😊
That's stunning Ken, within 4 hours of you posting the video it's already been sold, awesome to see that.
Thanks Mattigot. It's actual pending payment now. Not sure why.

Thank you! 😊I'm about to do a pink one for a friend so we will see if that holds true. 😂
Absolutely beautiful. I love the idea of using the cactus. ~Kevin
Ahhhh Cholla the bane of my existence if I drink a couple and wander into the desert. Beautiful creations again!
My kids and I used to find them everywhere in Arizona when we would go hiking.
I like, I like, I like. That came out wonderfully. The purple is a great compliment to the contrasting shades of the grain. Well done.👍👍👏👏
Thank you so much!
This has to be the most beautiful resin piece I have seen. It's just absolutely stunning!
Thank you so much 😊
This bowl turned out gorgeous! That cactus was a really cool addition to this! 💖👍
Thanks so much! 😊
I was skeptical about that epoxy color going in wet, but this project is absolutely lovely!
Thank you! I love how it turns the purple with black highlights
I love a good cholla project. The cross cut look of cholla is a lot of fun and I've turned pens out of blanks like that. Great work on the bowl, Ken.
Thanks 👍
WOW! That is so beautiful! I love the purple, and that pattern from the pieces of cactus, look like flowers. Lovely.
I'm glad you like it
That is just beautiful. If I had ever thought about the insides of a cactus, I would not have imagined they looked like that! An education as well xxx
It's pretty cool to see a cactus remnants. Me and my kids used to see them all the time when hiking in Tucson AZ.
What a pleasant surprise. Maybe my favorite video utilizing resin. Very pretty and unique.
Thanks Rick. I appreciate that.
I love the patterns from the cholla. That is an absolutely beautiful bowl. Your wife will not let you sell it.
Haha, I put it up before she had a chance to say no..😂
The colour of this resin is one of my favorites. The mixture of those two pigments is wonderful 🤘💙
Thank you
I keep saying it but this one's one of my favorites. The cactus look like flowers suspended in the resin.
I really love the look of this one. Reminded me of a Hawaiian shirt I have.
Love the cactus/wood combo. The color choice for the resin was a very good choice. Well done.
Thank you very much!
It is beautiful and i am so glad you didn't hurt yourself . Take care my friend
My inspiration for this was your cholla cactus candy bowl.

Whoooo that would suck. I lived in Tucson for 4 years and loved it.

WOW, isn't that unusual, it almost looks like flowers around the top. The colors worked out great. An all round beautiful bowl.
