Very nice! Great video, nice commentary. And, from a newbie to wood shop stuff, I appreciated you comment about staying safe. Hat tip to ya’ my good sir!
Very Nice.I have been turning cholla cactus for over a year now, and I just love how you can get so many different varieties of texture out of it, I do use a wood hardener on my cactus to add in the different colors of the cactus. Great job
Joe Welling Hi Joe, I love turning cholla cactus too. It’s a new found fun. Thanks for the tip on the hardener, I will give it a try. Thanks for watching and have a happy thanksgiving.
Hey Roger, thank you! Hope all is well, Oh, I haven’t forgot, I will mention you on one of my up coming videos. I have a few videos coming out that are geared for my sponsors. Then I can get back to regular project videos. Thanks again my friend. Take care -Speros
That is a beauty mate and will definitely make a great gift , I doubt very much if we can get Cholla cactus over on this side of the pond, but I reckon something could be made to look like it by hollowing out and carving those hole in with a Dremel or similar on a suitable looking piece of wood. Another enjoyable video from you Speros! Take care mate , Bram
Hey Bram, that’s a good idea, and you could certainly carve a similar piece. Maybe a bit time consuming. Lol I did send some Cholla cactus over to UK in my last giveaway. So, there at least on piece in England. Lol 😀
Bram the Wadesmill woodturner Hey, I looked as well and found they on EBay too. You should give them a try, super fun to turn. They are easy to finish as well, I only used a plastic polish as a finish and some food safe wax. Thank you again my friend for your support I really appreciate it. Take care and I hope you and your family has some great holidays. -Speros
