So…since you didn’t play the NSFW music I googled it to play……now I have some real explaining to give my wife 😂. Awesome segmented bowl! Loved the random resin segments.
Not for me but I can see the quality of your work, it's plainly obvious you are a top notch craftsman. Please don't think I'm critical of your work because I most certainly am not. It wouldn't be such a lovely form of art if we all liked the same thing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills with us. ,😊
YES!!! Return to form 🙌 I generally dislike segment bowls but that is epic. I particularly like the way there is no real layout of the red sections. Awesome.
Really like this bowl. There seems to be this prevalence in woodworking to use blue or purple tones that do nothing to enhance the wood tones. While this red is simply smashing !! And the sparkle enhances it even more ...well done !! Cheers!!
Thank you. I think that blue and purple really resonates on screen for a good visual. And there are a lot of people that like the color purple. I have found a yellow or green bowl has a harder time selling.
I follow your channel and am always amazed at your final product. You seem like a cool dude so the minimal talking you do over the video is enjoyable and definitely not excessive. This morning I only had time for a short Video and the length of this one fit my timeframe. Keep up the awesome work
I really enjoyed the basket-weave look of the oak and in putting it together as pieces instead of just cutting out rings. Nicely done! I bet the aluminium was a bit hard on your gouges!
@@MoonpieCreations the big washer I got for my saws got one for chop saw also. It takes the vibration out of the thin blades. I love a good thing blade wit fine cut.
you teach me something new to me today on this video, and give me some good ideas, always been concern about to much resin wasted making a bowl but with the sectional ( I didn't know that you can do it to) is another thing, thank you so much. I missed the sexy song in the pouring!!
That is so cool. A lot of everything time, imagination and patience. Have you thought of sprucing up your granddaughters glow in the dark lamp shade???
That's a nice wood length Ken 😉 that bowl is something else seen a few people fail with shavings but man you pulled it off especially with that oak looks nice really nice love the onion rings still there lol
Freakin Awesome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aluminum yes? 2.7 hardness. Could gauge future metal projects by hardness. I’m sure the softer the better for turning. Btw ❤ the “new” vid stuff you’re doing.
I’d love to see a project using the aluminum shavings and a soft lilac/periwinkle (to look like wisteria) or medium pink (to look like cherry blossoms)
When you figure out what's wrong with your table saw, you are encouraged to share the solution. I'm not having the issue myself, but the more you know...
That turned out awesome Ken. The metal really complements the resin and highlights the bowl. Very cool piece.
Thank you Mark
That is a beautiful bowl. I realize there's a lot that goes into making it but the end result is stunning! Great job!!
Thank you
Really cool. I have a fondness for oak - its grain has its own unique look. And the color combo of the red, the oak and the metal really works!
I am pretty impressed with this oak. It has beautiful figure and flecking in it.
LOVE the effect of the aluminum in the resin! And really digging your Funyuns shelf 😉
Best shelf ever!!!!
Wow! The wood grain at the bottom of the bowl (at the 12:12 point) that almost makes it like an optical illusion. Just amazing!
Yeah, it looks a lot like a spiral.
That is one gorgeous bowl. Well done.
thank you

😂😂😂 you gotta be careful when googling it.
Very cool bowl Ken! Thx and take care.
Thanks
Great job! I love it when someone adds new stuff to the general knowledge base of turning.
Thank you. Me too.
Good grief! How cool. It almost looks like a wicker basket. Beautiful!
That's a pretty neat description. I can see it now.
Those colors are FANTASTIC!!!!
I love this bowl. I especially love the silver with the red resin. Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching and commenting.
Ken, that is BEAUTIFUL. I think one of the very best you've done. Way to go.
Thank you Steve. I wasn't to happy with it. Need to fix my table saw. There were gaps.
Kinda Damascus looking. BEAUTIFUL.
Great description. Thanks
I was so waiting for the 'music' when you poured the red on the metal shavings. Gorgeous bowl!
Sorry, I like to take it off every now and again. Thank you for the kind words.
I could listen to sped up stirring and hammering all day
Me Too!!!
That was a great project. I especially like the aluminum in the resin and the segmented bottom, nice touch.
Thanks Dale
Love the red with the metal. Very nice shape as well. Love it.
Thank you
Pretty cool Ken, I do believe I have a bag of those chips also, thumbs up as always !
They make some cool designs. I like the vase I did better though.
Beautiful bowl, Ken. The randomness of the resin segments was a great touch.
Bill
Thanks Bill

OMG 😲.....this bowl is absolutely gorgeous!

Lol, i just noticed the shelf full of Funyuns. Love them chips. Enjoy them. I enjoyed the red bowl. As always beautiful work!
The Shelf of Funyuns was a dream from my last video. 😂

Oh how pretty! Love the oak and resin.
Thank you
One of your best ones. I love the design.
Thanks Dan
Ken with the aluminum shaving,, and the red resin color, some parts almost make a Rose pattern. ❤

I appreciate that. I think I'm cool, but don't ask my kids. 😂😂
That's an insane amount of work and completely worth it, Bravo :)
Whoa! That turned out beautiful!
Thank you
Beautiful work
WOW!!! SO GORGEOUS!! Great job sir.
Thank you Dawn.
At first I was huh…. Metal in resin… but the finished bowl looks great. Very clever idea. 👍
Beautiful workmanship
Thank you
It’s beautiful!! I really like it. Nice turn out.

Thank you Nathon.
It’s beautiful if course!!!! Love your work so much.
Thank you. I truly appreciate that.
@@MoonpieCreations you’re welcome but it’s true! I wish I could do 1/10 of what you do…
I absolutely love this!
Thank you
Great bowl, Ken!
Thanks
That’s Awesome!!! I love it!!👍
Thank you.
Very beautiful Ken.
Thanks Jack
Amazing bowl, good job
Thank you
Nice bowl. The pain turning resin infused metal notwithstanding, the leftovers would make really spectacular pen blanks.
I have a total of 5 ft left lol.
you are a pro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you
I love this. Looks amazing.
Thanks Chris.
A real beauty!
Thank you Pauline
Very nice piece Ken. Well done
Thank you
Very cool bowl
Thanks Michael
Absolutely beautiful! Great bowl Ken.
Thank you
That's gorgeous. I'd love to see these aluminum pieces in a sapphire blue resin. Maybe on something like zebrawood!
I did another one with aluminum. Have you seen it? ua-cam.com/video/bz7oZxMFPIE/v-deo.html
Wow that is really pretty 😍 💕
Looking good
I am not an oak fan, but when you expose the quartersawn face on some of the blocks, it is gorgeous!
Thank you.
WoW, that's Awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Connie
Cool!love the ideas like this!
Thanks Dan
delta makes a great blade stabilizer used one for years same problem when making cabinets loooks great
I think the issue is the arbor. As I crank the blade up it wobbles. I do not think the blade is straight to the table. Just a hair off.
@@MoonpieCreations the big washer I got for my saws got one for chop saw also. It takes the vibration out of the thin blades. I love a good thing blade wit fine cut.
Gorgeous!!! The setup work tho!! Jeez. Worth it tho👍👍👍
Thanks. The hardest part was the resin and metal pieces. I ended up making two.
Love it,
Thanks
Beautiful piece, that will sell in a hurry!!
Thank you.
So cool!
Thank you
Beautiful❤
Thank you
It a a nice piece, Ken. I’ve recently bought a drum sander and am looking forward to trying segmented turning. 🌞
I wish I could fix mine. Good luck.
Beautiful piece! 👍🏾👍🏾 I subscribed because of your amazing work, and your Funyun's shelf 🤣. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much! 😊

Amazing 😃
i appreciate that.

No not really, it sits upstairs. Out of Site out of Mind.
@@MoonpieCreations to bad that was really cool to
@@ericaclark7250 The granddaughters enjoy it every time they stay the night though.

That turned out great! Nice to see a little something different with the segments...not that your resin bowls aren't beautiful.
I'm trying to mix it up with a bunch of different projects....well if I can find time that is.
That was a lot of work but turned out beautiful 👌
