MYSTERY RANCH
bit.ly/3ipQnK5
I have many American-made packs, from Mystery Ranch, Velocity Systems, Eagle, LBT, AWS…and more often than I’d like to admit…my Vietnam-made packs have typically had better craftsmanship. Eg. cleaner stitching, less loose threads, more symmetrical sewing, no raw edges, etc. I wish it weren't so, but it's been my experience.
Not mine but I can believe it
It comes down to infrastructure. The best bags in the world come from Taiwan and Vietnam, they have invested more in the technology and have the advantage of cost savings without the issues that China has. The US is great, but we just can't handle mass production as well. Some are poorly managed or tapping out too. Tom Bihn sold out in 2022 and Triple Aught Design went 3+ mill in debt because they had no idea what they were doing and is now owned by a firm that may liquidate it soon.
I’d argue on the idea that “American” made is better. Not sure where you correlate Americans as always being trades men correlated to being able to make better packs lol.
This seems kinda all patriotic hokey pokey. Believe me when I tell you this, the Vietnamese knows how to make bags. They seriously specialize in those kinds of stuff. I get it, not hoo rah American! But let’s come back to earth for a minute lol.
Stop defending communism lol
@@TerriblyTactical lol.. communism? Bag qualities have nothing to do with communism. I don’t think capitalism is working very well either. Just because it carry’s a name doesn’t mean it follows the principles. I don’t think we are doing very well buddy.
That thing is super badass. BA compliant..everything US made. Probably even the stitching is Anefil nylon.
I like it a lot! Has served me well!
Im gonna subscribe just because of your HK references haha
Lol niceeee

It should
Is that waist belt removable?
It is indeed!
I'd love to buy this off of you if you're interested in selling and it's still in good condition? I can't find it in Foliage anywhere
Unfortunately, it's a dedicated part of my preparedness kit, and I'm rather in love with it lol. Best of luck to you on your search my man!
