Your explanation of the four flying geese at a time finally made my brain understand. Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤

I like the quilt behind you
Thanks! That quilt is my new Links pattern. I sell it in both a digital and a paper version in my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/shop/CreatewithClaudia
It’s lovely!
Thanks so much!!!
I'll say it again, you Always have the glorious fabrics and this quilt is no exception, your quilt is stunning!
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I do love jewel tone batiks. Of course I love pretty much any fabric. Have a nice evening.
Absolutely stunning! Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind comments. I’m glad you like the quilt!
Absolutely gorgeous! 😍😍😍 I love batiks, they are so beautiful. When paired with the black, I think they make a stunning piece. 💗💗💗 Thank you for sharing 😊🌹🦋
I really appreciate that. I love these fabrics with black too. Thanks for watching!
Oh Claudia, your quilt is stunning
Thanks so much Brenda! I appreciate it!
Absolutely gorgeous. Making a flying geese/goose quilt. Has been on my bucket list for a long time. Seeing this is definitely motivation. Thank you.
Go for it! I hope you give it a try. Thanks for watching!!!
This quilt is so beautiful and it looks like such a fun project. I love that method of doing flying geese.
Thanks so much! I love this method too. The biggest pain is trimming all of these down but once you get into a rhythm it goes quickly.
The contrast between the beautiful batiks and the black is stunning. What a beautiful quilt!
Thank you. That black really makes those batiks shine. Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much for this great video and instruction. Grateful for how thorough you are - I've always seemed to "soak in" best via audio, so the videos with basically just visual I don't find very helpful. Am referring to your site as well.
Will add how surprising it is to a beginner how amazingly crooked a block can end up! After I thought I cut straight, stitched (fairly) straight. Pretty sure my "squaring up" will take a good 4-5 afternoons 😆
Thank you for your kind comments. I appreciate them and thanks for watching.
I love black with batiks. Absoultely beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. When I was picking background fabrics I was definitely drawn to the back.
You're AMAZING! Gracias for this awesome tutorial. Your quilt turned out beautifully and I especially love the colors! ❤️
That’s so nice of you to say! Thank you and I’m glad you like the quilt! Have a lovely day.
Beautiful quilt top. Thanks for the video 😊

Thanks for watching and I hope you give it a try. Have a nice weekend!
Very Beautiful, Claudia, I live the colors of your fabrics❣️ Chris
Thank you so much! I love those saturated jewel tones. Although honestly I love any fabric 😂. Thanks for watching!

This is beautiful!
Thank you so much. I appreciate that!
Love this quilt!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it!
This is a great quilt but love the one in the background. What pattern is that?
Thanks so much. The quilt on the wall behind me is my new Links pattern. I sell it on Etsy in paper and digital versions here: www.etsy.com/shop/CreatewithClaudia
Is the black fabric a batik also? The quilt is beautiful!
It is batik from Island Batik. It's a nice saturated dark black that really sets those fabrics off! Thanks for watching.
I love the quilt behind you, tell me where to find that tutorial, please!!!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that. That is one of my new patterns called Links. You can get it in my Etsy shop (digital or paper). Here's my shop: www.etsy.com/shop/CreatewithClaudia
@@CreatewithClaudia I ordered it!! Thank you for the link, and I glad you have paper patterns still. I am not a huge fan of the PDF do it yourself so appreciate that you offer the old fashioned patterns. Too bad I can't get an autographed from the creator pattern!! I will send a photo when I complete mine.
What quilt is behind you? It’s gorgeous
Thanks so much! It’s my new pattern called Links. I sell it in my Etsy shop here: www.etsy.com/shop/CreatewithClaudia
If I make the background squares 5 1/2 inch will that change my geese size and make it easier to trim up?
I haven’t tried that but it might. Give it a try on some scraps first. Good luck!
Beautiful fabric. What is the quilt behind you? And can I get the pattern? It’s ok, I found the pattern on your website shop.😊
Thanks! That’s one of my new patterns. Glad you like it and found it. I appreciate you watching!
how do you sew such PERFECT 1/4" seams? and why do you say scant 1/4"? does that help fitting the pieces together? i have a really old sewing machine and it does not have many marks on the plate so i have trouble. then my pieces dont go together perfectly because my seams vary :(
I have a foot that has a 1/4" edge on it. That helps me. Scant is just a hair (barely discernable) less than a 1/4". Some people put tape on their machine to help them get a good 1/4 inch seam allowance. The important thing is that the seams don't vary.
very nice. However you repeat yourself constantly.😩
I know I do that and try not to. In fact I did a video on 10 things I’ve learned being a UA-camr and the fact that I repeat myself is on that list! 😂 Thanks for watching anyway.
Had to turn sound off. Too much talking.
Her talking don't there me, it shows her thought process. You can use the volume control if you wish. I liked how she showed the choice process to give us ideas too.😊😊
